.Such a rich legacy of God's faithfulness and worship is deeply embedded here, with so much gold to be found beyond. I remember as a teen in the Central Heights youth group (around '83-85), with Brian Doerksen leading us to Granville Street in downtown Vancouver to worship on the streets and reach out to homeless youth, bridging hope, faith, and love. The same young Brian leading worship then! I also remember, as a young nursing student away in Greater London, returning home to be part of Brian and Joyce's home group, a room filled with young people worshipping with their full hearts, and continuing to be shaped by this legacy in Abbotsford, B.C.( I also remember Brian & Al's folks singing at church, their faces brightly shining of the glory of God too!) And there is so much more. The embodied, lived story of Christ in both Brian and Joyce is a powerful testimony, much like the "Long Obedience in the Right Direction" that Eugene Peterson writes about. Blessings Brian & Joyce! -- Heather McKay Maddox
I use this beautiful song many times every year without fail to encourage God’s creation to worship! It never grows old. Thank you Brian for persevering during your low moments to create with God.
So inspiring that your beautiful song hard such a huge impact all over the world and drew so many of us into a closer walk with king Jesus. Much love from Australia
I've been listening and singing your songs in our small college prayer groups from the 90's . They have always blessed me and touched hearts who have never heard of Jesus Christ. Now I'm 50 and I'm overjoyed to watch you all over again and feel the presence of the Holyspirit filling me...Thanks for bring faithful..
Thank you for your faithfulness to our wonderful God. This song of yours, and all the others, carried me through the early 2000s and continues to be my greatest blessing in my private worship of our wonderful and glorious God. And.....those drums are great!
Brian, love, love, love this inclusive concept. Surely one of the greatest calls to worship of all time. Great job. This and Kathryn Scott's Hungry are the twin pillars. I'm early Vineyard, '78.
Some of the most beautiful things come from the lowest valleys in our lives ❤ This song reminds me of my mother, a worshiper who went to be with Jesus a year and a half ago. There are times when I worship God that I can feel her worshipping alongside me. This song is one of those times. ❤
Thanks Brian. You let me play my part in this and it was a real blessing, also for me. What a privilege. I can't believe it's been 25 years. Still one of the greatest worship songs ever.
Amazing to hear your story relating to this song. I got saved 25 years ago, and couldn’t really get into much of the music I was hearing until I discovered Vineyard and this song and a number of your others were really important to me on my journey. Thank you!
God bless Brian from the Philippines. This song has a huge impact in our churches we Love Jesus and we gladly chose Jesus Christ our Savior and indeed now is the time to really worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.
