Like what element is conductive … wireeee…
In S05E02, Hank reveals that the laptop in the evidence room was encrypted (something which Mike really should've known or guessed, imo). So there was no point in destroying it, it couldn't incriminate anyone anyway. The whole operation, which Walt was so proud of, was pointless. Not only that, but in the process of destroying the laptop the picture frame was broken, revealing bank account details written on the underside which were a huge step forward in Hank's investigation. Walt is oblivious to all of this, and seems to think himself invincible. He's got a whole lot of pride. It can't be long before the fall.
Computer login and hard drive encryption can be broken plus this was high profile enough of a case that they would devote the resources to brute force the access.
I really liked this scene but thought it was really weird how it was essentially used again a few episodes later in the dead freight episode. It’s essentially the same thing, Walt and Mike arguing about the conflict, in the same room, with Jesse coming up with the solution out of nowhere. But regardless, someone as careful as Gus most definitely had his laptop encrypted anyway.

love the Dave Clark 5 reference; before my time too but they were my dad’s favorite band so i heard them a lot when i was young 👍🏼
I remember watching this during its first airing and I kid you not I was thinking a huge magnet 🧲 could destroy a hard drive. Being in IT for a gazillion years we know magnets corrupt data on a hard drives magnetic platters. I felt as smart as pink man when he gave his solution to the team.
Encryptions are made to be broken.
38 people have the same level of low intelligence as you.
They were gonna breakdown that photo frame anyway.
The Waltpologists have logged on.
"WHO SAID ANYTHING ABOUT A BOMB?"
*2 seconds later*
"fine so a bomb then"
I love how we get the origins of Dave Clark (like the Dave Clark Five) in Better Call Saul.
It’s crazy how Chuck’s house was just down the street from Jesse’s….
Why do they break the whole phone every single time? Just break the sim card??
Great writing, for a show with amazing scenes. This dialog only scene is beautiful to watch.
1:31 they really do be checking each other out
You know damn well waltuh and mike have a strong sexual tension between them.
Mike hit em with the:
🤨
Listen to the start of this clip with your eyes closed! What a great voice, I had never noticed!
Jesse goes from being the stupid one in the begining of the show to actually coming up with some solid ideas
Yo what about a magnet?
I really liked this scene but thought it was really weird how it was essentially used again a few episodes later in the dead freight episode. It’s essentially the same thing, Walt and Mike arguing about the conflict, in the same room, with Jesse coming up with the solution out of nowhere. But regardless, someone as careful as Gus most definitely had his laptop encrypted anyway.
GTA6 cutscene before the "Evidence room" mission
As a massive comicbook nerd i would have expecited a blown up police station, someone on the inside to destory it.or someone to roll bait while another snuck in..nvr did i think a massive magnet...this is why this series is great out of the box thinking, the acting it was....perfect..was one of the last few series i watch fully on tv each week
Mike saying boned is hilarious.
Walt's "OH SHIT" moment at the end of this clip is hilarious, you can see his head movement go "wtf was that" at the hand gesture he made, then camera turns and you see his brain make that connection
One of the best scenes
