Yeah, in their new song, they have improved their Korean but still need some work since they have an accent but you can see in their videos that they have been learning as well.
Once You Jongin ,You Cant Jongout there are a few international fans who are supporting them (found a few of us in the comments) but mostly you are right. That's so sad :(
CL CAN DEBUT IN AMERICA WHILE SINGING IN ENGLISH, EXP EDITION CAN'T DEBUT IN KOREA WHILE SINGING IN KOREA GOOD JOB PEOPLE, btw they are just social experiment all of you who hate them are the resul THANKS *BOWING*
@I'm this person is exactly why it shouldn't be cool with us. Because theres prejudice against kpop ^^^ so why should a priviledged American group who could do well in their country have to make it into kpop and destroy that shit too huh? THE PRIVILEDGE
@lolumad as much as I disagree with your trashy wordings and sentiments I have to agree. BTS appeals to a bunch of 14 year olds. It's the same trend as One Direction.
true, i get your pointㅡbut, like, to put in consideration, people have been giving kpop shit for years and years, and it's even considered a laughing stock to most. it still is now to some. and half of them are just now getting into kpop to ride with the trend. either you grow really kind or insanely bitter.
Saaya Hayase The funny part about this is that no one on the show seemed to care about the group's ethnicity. Kpop is just like pop, it's a form of music that is universal. Fans are just haters from time to time
These guys are obviously talented. They're not mimicking Kpop groups, they took the time to learn the language. That shows that they have a love and appreciation for the culture and style of music. It might not be your personal preference, but the amount of negative comments on this video are ridiculous and unnecessary. This group might have a lot to offer down the road, and at the very least, they deserve respect.
secretBTRfan honestly for me, it's just not great. their moves need work, the talent is there but there's just no real connection as a group. I'm not feeling it
V Barle, it's just because you do not know the whole truth, Sime is the tallest, he has problems in his bones and dancing for him is terribly painful, so I suggest before saying something, try to investigate so you can understand.
michoerly zhj they’re not pointing fingers specifically, just in general the dancing is cheesy and kinda awkward at times. Not terrible but it’s not the industry standard
i don't find anything cringey in this performance tho. Yeah their pronunciation is not on point but they did a nice job. Why are people saying that it's funny to hear them sing in korean but when their favorite oppas sing in english and the pronunciation is freakin poor they pay no mind? Pre judgement sucks.
송기적 dey r awkward make us cringe if u think dey not cringing u r fooling urself n maybe u hve sympathy for dem der r always people like u. I hve never seen any group who made me as awkward n crinzy as dem. dey need to train like real kpop stars so dat awkwardness will be gone n grow as a group trainee days r golden days. da experience n how dey become kpop idols . many group out der waiting for debut who word hundred times more den dem . but here dey r just singing n not even entertaining. just funny n crinzy. dey call demselves we r from exp planet stealing exo planet . n exp n exo sounds similar .
lol i don't have sympathy for them.I'd rather give my sympathy to those trainees who are working their butt off yet everything's not going in their way. I'M SAYING MY OPINION BASED ON THEIR PERFORMANCE ON THIS SHOW. I don't care who they are and what they call themselves or whatever plagiarism and imitation they do. If they are kpop wannabes i reallllly don't care. I repeat i'm saying my opinion based on their performance in this SHOW.So yeah, I am sooooo not fooling myself.
송기적 based on dis performance also I find it crinzy. kpop group da way dey dance is idk suits best asian. I may sound racist but da fact is dat dey dnt hve dat kpop vibe dat kpop is known for. since dey hve western features dey look exotic n funny n dramatic when dey dance . iam getting one direction vibe. n some bad korean . sorry but dey should hve known kpop is a scary world where talent is a must . u need to be almost perfect . for dat train hard .
They actually sound good and their control while dancing is admirable. I’m a non-Asian wanting to pursue Kpop because I really enjoy the music and appreciate the culture. There are many native Koreans giving them props but the non-Asians are getting pressed. Lmao chill. Kpop is just music mostly sung by Koreans. Hip Hop is an African American genre sung by people from all races so what’s the problem ? *The fact that they didn’t undergo the process all Kpop idols go through is wrong but if they’d gone through that I don’t think it’d be that bad*
K L The problem is that they got a free pass to becoming an idol. They were able to become idols without the training and learning the language. All idols were trained to the bones, dieting, trained to speak Korean, etc. They are actually great singer but they don’t speak Korean, and they weren’t trained like other idols.
Emily .Brock, Yes I know over time they will become better with their Korean and signing, but it feels that they got a free pass to become an idol in Korea. Usally most idols HAVE to audition then trained for years and years without knowing if they can actually debut. They did not have to go through all that and it felt unfair. Sorry for my bad English :/
*EXP Edition dances and sings so fucking good* Yesung: *stands up abruptly in disbelief* Heechul: *pure shock an speechless* Shindong: *conplementing and suprised* Leeteuk: *impressed and laughing* Me: HOLY FUCKING SHIT THESES GUYS WHAT ARE THEIR FANDOM NAMED IMMA SIGN IN RIGHT NOW BOOI-
There are a lot more talented groups that have way fewer supporters and should be recognized. Also they can only sing they literally cant do anything. Not good at korean, dance, and rap. If they just did sining they could have did well in AMERICA not saying they are not doing well but just why.
Let's be honest here, a foreigner who had the time to learn a language is something but to perform in a level where they actually can be a singer of the English language but still choose Korean is really impressive. Though I'm not feeling that they should do kpop because it's making me cringe, I must say performance is 👌
yeah you took the words out of my mouth...they do make me cringe...idk im just so used to the typical KPOP that when I look at them and see their video its more of a American Pop feeling to me and it's not because they're white...they vibe off more of American pop...they can sing...i wanna see them in PD101 cause them trainees are going through a lot...they need to step into shoes of real kpop artist and their trainee life
Most people do not think they do K-pop, but when Koreans want to do American music, do they receive them with open arms? ... how rare are the people. :( .. it shows that they try hard and if they like and do not hurt anyone I do not see the bad.
Okay guys all your comments have me really confused. Like isn't it 90% of international fans dreams to become a K-Pop idol? Including a LOT of non-Asians. But the second an actual non-Asian gets the balls and backing to join the industry, you guys immediately start ripping them to shreds? Not every idol went through years and years of training. Many debuted after only months (like Baekhyun, Chen, Yumin, Jiwoo) and it's not EXP's fault that nothing similar to the K-Pop Machine Training System exists in America. They even took the time to learn an entirely new language until they were confident speaking it before they debuted. What I can't figure out is if you guys don't like them because they're foreign or because they're (mostly) white?? Like do you guys not approve of Alex Reid's addition into RaNiA either? Or is she fine because she's black? At least these guys have vocal talent, and are trying to assimilate to the language & culture. You can't even give them a chance?
I personally have no beef with it, since they did it respectfully and promoted in Korea, rather than targeting America/not Korea. However, just to give another perspective/how I could see where people would be upset: If you think of it as if someone loves a small, on-the-rise restaurant that serves authentic ethnic food. Although this person may be nice and respectful, their family, who also sells food, is historically known for stealing recipes from other eateries without giving credit, AND/OR drastically changing the recipe and giving credit (thus, misleading people’s understanding of what “authentic” is & diminishes the real authentic eateries’ opportunity to flourish). So like, when that person eats & tries to replicate that recipe for their friends and family, it’s no big deal. However, WHENEVER THEY *SELL* IT, especially to the the same & expanding customer pool (thus becoming the original eatery’s competitor), it raises suspicion & worry that the “nice & respectful” person is repeating their family’s history. To continue this analogy in EXP’s situation, it’s like: The nice, respectful person with a shady family history was taught a recipe by the authentic eatery, added their own flair to it, and then sold it to the eatery. It wasn’t even like the person pushed for all authentic recipes be changed to the new one (more Western idols). Nor was there a wave of insecurity/doubt in the eatery’s original recipes (internalized racism). Korea taught them to Kpop so they could Kpop in Korea. I don’t see a problem with that. I read an article that tried to claim Kpop doesn’t need diversity since it’s Asian representation in international media - which is true for other non-Asian countries. However, because their target audience was Korea, a mostly homogenous country (where most minority representation is still East Asian), EXP was a splash of diversity in Korean media.
I think is a wake up call to not only foreigners, but Koreans as well. I think of all the Koreans that would love to be a K-Pop idol, going through years of training, only to never debut. Or Koreans who think that they will never be as good a K-Pop idols. This should show that as long as ANYONE works hard enough whether KOREAN or NOT, they have every right to pursue their dreams in South Korea as K-Pop idols. I hope that this causes more Koreans to try to pursue their own path rather then trying to go through the training system. and I am optimistic about the K-Pop industry.
That was the goal of the creators of the group, especially after seeing so many young people almost desperate to enter, be exploited, causing in many the desire for suicide and many lives lost, unfortunately
It's weird that a lot of international fans are hating them and being racist. The funny fact is that koreans are giving attention to them and support them. I'm korean too and tbh I can't understand why they are getting so much hate. They are talented and I appreciate their hard work. I mean they had to learn a new language, live in a foreign country etc. So stop being rude and let's support them.
Kaleb Sok I wasn’t talking about being Asian you have to sing. Since you couldn’t comprehend my comment, they’re singing IN KOREAN better THAN some actual Koreans who can’t pronounce their own language correctly 🙄
they're doing a thing that me personally have never seen kpop idols do: sing vocal harmonies LIVE. i insist, maybe some kpop group has done it, but i've never seen it.
Why are people bitching and being racist to these 4 boys, I believe they have talent not because of the way look, but the way they sang they did an awesome job.
I ACTUALLY FIND FOREIGNERS EXPRESSING THEIR LOVE TO KOREAN MUSIC SO MUCH THAT THEY START A KPOP GROUP THEMSELVES SO HEARTWARMING. THEYRE LIVING ALL OF OUR INTERNATIONAL FANS’ DREAMS. i bet many koreans have a fantasy of being part of this beautiful industry some day, and so go people from around the world. these men like the dancing, concepts, art, fashion, and overall style of kpop, so they wanted to be a part of it. nothing wrong with it, actually very unique👏🏻💪🏼❤️
Look whether you like them or not you got to give them credit for still going despite the mean hate they recieve. I'm not saying to like them but at least respect them. I've read so many nasty mean things said about them. They are actually decent singers and dancers and I think they genuinely like Kpop and thats why they stared a group ( I could be wrong ). They may come across cringey but there's no need for such hateful comments. Peace Edit: just found out they are an experiment group I feel stupid lol should've done more research my bad. By people posting comments below (thanks) and I do understand the anger as other idols worked so hard and long and went through a lot of struggles just to debut.
Trey Trey yeah I don't hate. But I heard somewhere that they are like originally some type of social experiment some college student like set up - but ya a real band still. I'm not exactly sure what it meant by that tho.
brianna a ohhh I never knew it was an experiment. Thanks for informing me. Also I thought there were originally OT5 but I think the other guy pulled out. But do you think they are officially a real band or just doing it for the sake of their experiment?
Trey Trey It's for a graduate school thesis. The author wanted to know if a kpop group could still be successful (sing and dance at par with other kpop groups) even without the rigorous training. Eventually, the author went back to Korea, built an entertainment company and these guys were signed under it. I guess the flak that they're receiving is the idea that these guys didn't even go training. I think KPop fans feel it's a disservice to kpop groups that worked like slaves to reach where they are now. The idea that white guys have it easy kind of thing.
Hayhay Brillantes thanks for that, it was very informative. I thought they just stared a group out of fun or because they really liked Kpop. But you have informed me for the real reason, so thanks. I do understand the anger that fans of other groups have epically knowing the hard struggles that their idols had to go through just to debut.
Isabelle Sals Agree, let them haters hate and just keep improving guys. Besides, Koreans themselves like them, so who are we to stop them from being a Kpop group?
Bagel Kitten lmao true, but they honestly aren't even half as bad as people are putting them off as. everyone can have different opinions on in but I just stand in the middle on it all, if they are truly putting time and hard work into it all, I don't see why they can't have a chance either??
Esmeralda de Vries lmao, if you're gonna be a troll, take Jin off your pfp. I doubt he'd like some troll to be saying negative things about other people with his face.
kikslali ikr its so goddamn annoying. like, i got no problem if you genuinely like it. like, hey, take a piece and fuck with it, i don't care. but if you're getting into kpop solely because of all the hype and fame it has and that it would increase your status and popularity rapidly, which is basically what most youtubers and foreign artists nowadays do lmao, then fuck outta here.
SUPPORT THEIR NEW SONG, "STRESS"! They really have improved but it's okay but it could be better and better. Also, Koki is looking good in his pink suit. 😍
i dont mind if they want to debut as kpop group, but i want them to experience how other idol train to debut as an idol, all i see now their passion like how other trainee had to be an idol..but passion only not gonna work.. the successfull group always had more than passion..
people are too innocent ..its BUSINESS this group is only marketing strategy .everybody knows how popular kpop groups are around the world and how big are their fandoms .some international fans dont like it because its cringe haha but maybe some asian fans fall for them .
i think after 2 months of hard training they will give up. Well in youtube there are many much better non asian youtubers who makes amazing kpop covers
I'm sorry but as a Korean I'm telling you: their Korean pronunciation is better in this cover than their official song (not that it's good). And they do need to level up their dancing.. I can tell they practiced and all, but it just isn't good enough
Chloe Renee True, but if their goal is to debut and be part of the kpop culture, they should at least live up to the least expectations. and I hope this helps people realize kpop isn't just some shit of random good looking asians, it's actually a culture to Koreans and for the singers, it's a dream they've been working their ass off to achieve for years.
Sophie Hwang People don't accept this group because they aren't asian from what I gathered. but they definitely are trying to live a kpop experience. They're training, and practicing. They have basically given up everything for this excitement.
Chloe Renee yes, I see that they are being discriminated because they're not asian, and I think that is totally racist and rude. Everyone can have a kpop experience if they understand the culture. however about exp, even though they ARE training, I don't see how they are understanding the culture. maybe it's because we haven't seen much of them yet, but so far it doesn't look like they know "kpop" enough, look at their pronunciations for example. I also think that they could've waited a little longer until they were actually ready to debut, because honestly when I'm watching exp I feel like I'm watching a group of trainees who know nothing about being on the stage and just started training. they could've waited until their dancing and understanding of the culture was better.
I officially don't understand why they're getting so much hate. They're obviously training in dance, vocals and their Korean isn't as bad as I thought it would be. If they work and train in Korea, have a Korean following, I don't understand why international fans aren't on board. From what I know, they train in Korea and stuff so I don't see any problem with this
I honestly think that the disrespect is too much, In America everyone of every race has the right to make music so if a group of white men want to sing in Korean it isn't because they want to make a mockery of it, it's because they enjoy it. That's like saying that a Korean person has never sung a song in English before when multiple K-Pop idols have. G-D had a song with Missy Eliot even though she's black. I don't think it's the Koreans who have the problem, it's just us foreigners who don't want to share our secret love for K-pop with the world.
Very nice your opinion ,because i beleve everybody the blood is the same color ,Many coments are so racism and hate why you peoples think are much better the other ones why?
I'm not saying you have to like the group but please chill with the all around rude comments. they're people too and they did work hard to get to where they are ( maybe not as long as some idols) but they still put in effort to reach where they are. Be decent. How would we feel if our idol groups received hate for entering/trying to enter the western music market. I don't particularly like them, but they're not exactly terrible. I guess just let them be, seriously. Even Super Junior seemed to like their performance.
Imo kpop groups that promote in western countries still promote through kpop instead of Apop. But now they're trying to be a part of Kpop despite not being Korean, which isn't something we've seen in Kpop yet, so it's hard to accept in the beginning
I get that, but we can also consider there may be Asians who want to primarily promote music in the western music market. Before making it big in Korea, that was a John Park's plans by auditioning on American Idol. Anyways, my only point is for people to stop being rude. if they don't want to listen/support EXP then they can ignore them instead of insulting them. :)
Jin Tomo Yes I know a bit about both. As far as I know, Busker Busker is more well known in Korea as an (indie?) group than internationally, which I think explains why no one is really bothered by the French member. As for Alex, I think there are two reasons people aren't bothered- she brings greater African American representation to fight racial discrimination in Korea and she's had proper training under a label (I think). Regardless, I'm quite sure there are a few others too, though by name they're not coming to mind right now. As for the training years, some people are forgetting not all idols trained for years. As far as I remember, Kyuhyun trained 2 or 3 months before joining Super Junior. Another recent example is Jiwoo who also only trained a couple months before joining KARD (the other members trained 5 years). :)
There're tons of Kpop idols who didnt take the training or trained for like 2 months and now you complain about these guys didnt go through any training. Maybe you dont know, they did train themselves, they just dont have a huge company who did it for them. Respect. I take my hat down for them!
I've never though that they would get so far. I mean, this started as social project and now they're even performing on shows like this. I've been into K-POP since 2006 and I had though that this could happen, a non-Korean band debuting as a Kpop group, yet I also though that it was a risky idea since the K-pop fans would go "this isn't KPOP because it doesn't have an oppa" or "this is wrong, it's not suitable" or "it makes me cringe". But, since I've listen to difference music styles with different artist with different colors, shapes and language. I come to accept this. For me music isn't base on appearance and people should accept this. KPOP it's kpop no because they're Korean, in the beginning it was like this but nowadays it's not because their visual that we like them, but because their music which is a combination of their culture and our culture, which makes it quite global.
I kind of understand why there as so many people against them. As an Asian American myself, I understand how frustrating it can be to be taken seriously in the entertainment industry here in the US. No one thinks of us as performers. Like that Chris Rock oscars stunt, we're basically bred to be accountants or doctors in the eyes of the public. Asia and kpop is the one place where Asians can be taken seriously and get a fair chance to pursue a career in entertainment. When a group of white men come in from a system that's basically built for them to succeed over minorities and decide they'd rather try and enter the kpop scene where Western Asians fled to just to have a shot in the entertainment industry, of course there are going to be some hurt feelings. I don't want to be mean, but it's borderline white privilege. NOW THIS BEING SAID, I am not completely against the idea of them. They're talented, and I hate the notion that a certain type of music or song can only belong to one certain race. Music is the magical element that can bring everyone together. Asia could stand to at least gain a better understanding of diversity and different cultures too, I've lived there and it's just as frustrating when they don't think you could possibly be American because you're not white. However, I better not see these guys ever complain about having issues breaking into the industry because of their race or people not taking them seriously because their white. That'd just be upsetting.
YES I WROTE A COMMENT EXACTLY LIKE THIS, Asians have a stereotype on them that they're "smart" "nerds" ect. Long story short Kpop is a way to show how Asians aren't all those stereotypes and they could do much more. SO YEE PREACH THAT COMMENT
Let's not play the "whoever has it the hardest can complain and everyone else should shut up" game. As for "Koreans... aren't... a... minority..."etc, OP used the word "minorities" as in the sense of Koreans/Asians being considered minorities in comparison to whites. Obviously, OP did not mean that Koreans/Asians are the minority in the kpop industry. Don't be dumb and learn to read context.
To people saying actual kpop idols have to go through years of training and diet and it's not fair that EXP Edition can just come and make a group like this, I find it's pretty hilarious and silly that you're hating on a group just because they didn't suffer? There are different paths that can lead to the same destination. Give an actual reason to hate them.
THANK YOU! these people don't even stop to realize the kpop trainee system isn't really needed if you find people who have the talent. Eunji from Apink is a great vocalist and dancer but didn't even train a whole year before debuting. Most pop stars around the world don't go through a training system. Either you have the talent or ability to attract fans or you don't. these people complaining are so silly.
I understand that, but if they don't debut it is because the very industry they are trying to get into doesn't allow them to. So it would be the industry's fault.
Saaya Hayase Some people actually have reasonable reasons to dislike them. They've come in using Kpop as a resource of a career, when they honestly don't need to debut in the industry. Koreans perform in Korean because it's their culture and industry, not because Korean is cool.
Beebee This is a project. They aren't trying to make a serious career out of this. This is morelike a social experiment which was created by a Korean woman.
I don't give a fuck what international people think about them. The thing that I am most curious about is: What do Koreans think about them? What were their reactions and opinions on a "K-Pop group formed in America"
loren elisa jr. pierre I heard she has some Korean fans, so maybe it's true maybe some Korean fans really do like Alex. maybe it's the reason that they had invited her into the group and she didn't force her way through the kpop industry, who knows why some like her.
i think why people are feeling cringe-y to this group because its the first time that there is a group of foreigners that debut in a kpop scene. we are used to see covers everywhere but to actually see a full foreign group (without any korean in it) debuting in south korea is i think, a shock? we are used to seeing thai, chinese, japanese people in korean groups, but these people are from across the globe. they are good and i hope to see them in more variety shows to see what more can they offer. so let's be chill to them and see them grow in kpop. :)
Fatima Grace Balane No it's because kpop is an exclusively asian thing. It's Asian media, for Asians, by Asians. We don't need non-Asians to capitalise on media that is finally our own. It isn't even just EXP, there was similar outrage when Alex joined Rania. And you can't say its racist when asians are in western media because the social context is different. society here is more multiracial; people from other countries and races were specifically brought in (as workers, wives, slaves or even part of 'human zoos') and have integrated into society, and therefore should be properly represented in media. Asians especially are grossly under represented in the west and is harder for us to get opportunities in the media industry (look at the casting for GiTS, Death Note, Avatar etc!! So much asian erasure) than any other race, so that's why you have a lot of Asian Americans going back to Asia to try and make a career in a country they didn't grow up in because there is higher chances of us succeeding "back home" than in our country of citizenship. on the other hand, white people came to asia to exploit us or bring us into their wars. They don't need the representation because they were never really historically part of our society. This is why people are so protective of kpop and other asian media (especially if you're an asian living in the west because you are in direct contact with the kind of racism that asians in asia don't really grasp because they don't face such oppression) But that doesn't mean they also don't see a problem?? I mean look both chinese people in and out of china werent happy when there were white people in The Great Wall. It isn't because we're "koreaboos" as some people claim, it's a lot more systematically complicated than that lmao
You are narrow-minded, and racist lol, you can't say you're not racist. They aren't exploiting shit if they're seeing if their efforts at home about learning Korean, dancing to K-pop and singing in K-pop and then bringing it over here. They found a loophole in the system and why wouldn't they exploit it, and also the Koreans actually rate them so why should you have an opinion if they're good or not, you're not Houdini, you're just a netizen who chats a lot of shit.
You don't understand business, if is not for the media, kpop would stay only in korea, but since all is business all the marketing goes to viral and so also reach people from other nationalities. Otherwise Kpop group will not uses english in theirs songs mmm? Asian people are for everywere! Why so much fuss or do you think in EE.UU are not korean people too? I went from kdramas to kpop, so.. say thank you to the dramas that now people want to go more to Korea( tourism) and don't forget the business people they don't mind wherever the korean people agree or not.
vxrxs interesting u have that point of view considering kpop is strongly derived from Wester Culture. I feel u on the whitewashing that western culture does, but let's not act like if EXP were 4 black guys Koreans would accept that either. Bottom line, kpop fans don't like non Asians doing Kpop bc they don't want it to change. The problem is kpop has to change in order to grow and continue to make money. I think Bora's proving her point with EXP
Yeah I wonder what happen to them I thought I read some where one of them didn't want to move to Korea and had other commitments. But I honestly don't know.
i still remember a lot of people making fun of them when they first started and even im still a little bit “eh” about them but i won’t deny that they’ve definitely got talent. the fact that they moved around a lot yet their voices were still stable is amazing.
This ain't no experiment these guys are serious, so much hateful comments on their first MV, look at the audience they enjoyed their performance idk why so much hate out there give them a chance ppl if you don't like them then simply don't watch, Good vocals in my opinion EXP 파이팅!!!👍🏻
no name ok your entitled to your own opinion if you don't like don't watch and their Korean is getting better and you can see the audience in this video are enjoying their performance so why the hate just enjoy like I said if you don't like don't watch 👋🏻
"little bit" as in half? Pretty sure he is half Japanese. He's good looking too. If he wanted to make a career in Korea or Japan, I think he could get work on his visuals alone lol.
i think their good.. their got good voice.. good looking.. and can dance.. see their hard work to sing in korean and learn Korean language.. just like Kpop idol too.. their try to speak English and sing English song..why can we just accept them.. and like them like we like our idol.. them have a talent too.. (this just my opinion.. and sorry for the bad grammar)
It's because they're 1. White, the race card is usually strong af 2. They are salty that they didn't do the idol process, it's not like Eric Nam or John Park, both American-(Korean) didn't do that... it's so fucking stupid, yet no one compliments them to take their time to learn THE LANGUAGE LIKE
Thiên Kim That's why i don't like Korean's, THEY ALWAYS JUDGE PEOPLE FROM OUTSIDE, AND ESPECIALLY PHYSICAL :))) SORRY I'M ANNOYED WITH K****N PEOPLE, NOT YOU, HEHE xD ✌👍
desnitany apparently the general public is pretty respectful towards them. The feedback on naver and forums aren't that bad. It's all the international fans that are so aggro
the rude and racist comment need to stop..you hate them so much because they are western try to sing kpop and etc but you want your oppas to debut in america and slay billboard whatsoever...so racist...stop it.. just enjoy the music
Dont call me oppa one thing American music and entertainment in general lacks is Asian representation. Kpop allows asians to break stereotypes and finally be represented. its a completely different thing to have asians in White-centric entertainment than it is to have white ppl easily come into the kpop industry without the hard training that most kpop idols have to go through, when they already have huge representation in the West.
Because of white privilege... When american doesn't give asians much chance to develop in their industry market and the american tend to step in asian industry and owned it. This is why people hate them not because of using "Kpop" in their term rather it is because they are from america the "world leader" mindset is there if you know what I mean and they are proud of themselves.
Joe Kang ehm what does white privilege have to do with anything? gosh this is not even about this. Plus there are tons of famous black artists so your white privilige doesnt even apply to what you said. i know you are talkin about asians in the US but WHITE privilege would mean that not even blacks/hispanics etc are not making it and only white people are which is not entirely true
VolumePerfection Black artists are so successful because of the hip hop/reggae culture they built in the early 1970s since then they sold albums to arenas across the nation and how much struggles they've been treated in order to survive in America and what about the Latinos? They are part of it with the blacks why there are very few successful one why... is it their appeal don't suit the taste of the industry? The pop scene started in US and UK around mid 1950s and Korea just started to built their own genre in early 1990s influence by western pop of course this gap of timeline Americans had already step ahead but since they have so much in similarity I don't see why they are able to make it in Japan, China, Mexico and Europe but not in America? Just look at DBSK, PSY, BoA, BigBang they are so popular with the fans community but do they make it far in the American industry making english songs? Nope maybe once or twice and they stopped why? Because as the most honest thing that Trump had said for the broken system is "Make America Great=White Again" this issue can go on and on but I can't debate or explain everything all in once and I'm not saying all white people thinking is like that just that the authorities tend to white wash people are they afraid of other races overlapping them? All these which left the sour taste in our mouth just saying...
Joe Kang white privilege ? gtfo I'm half white and call bs here. Asians if you know anything about film or the entertainment where once considered white along with Hispanics . they where as much apart of it as white people.
+DulceCheree "im half white" then what's the other half? Wait Idc your race doesn't validate your statement. Your comment's a mess. It's a fact that asians are underpresented in the American entertainment industry. Asians are essentially seen as "white"?? If we were all seen that way, then racial discrimination wouldn't exist.
idk why you're all cringing while I'm just enjoying their awesome perf. Tbh, they're far better than SOME of your "Oppas" and "Eonnies", who only know how to lipsync and do cute gestures in front of the cam smh 🙄
They have good vocals but they aren't too good dancers and don't have good Korean pronunciation (especially about the dancing compared to other groups in the K-Pop world). Also, a company would never recruit and debut someone who "only knows how to lipsync and do cute gestures". If they can't sing well, they are mostly recruited for rap or dance. Most K-Idols can sing/rap/dance well because they train for many years, and desperately work hard for a long time just to get into the K-pop scene; even then, they're not guaranteed success.
Just be happy for them! They all can sing and they are practicing hard! Dont be jealous~ i mean they achieved their dreams so lets just be happy for them and cheerful!
La Lu fuck them. Actual kpop idols go through years of hard work and training and these asshats just get fame without the hard work. Fuck them and fuck their company
Jbooks Mc, you think they didn't go through years of training? Next time, do some research before you comment in public so that you don't end up sounding stupid
Jbooks Mc ~ no you idiot, they did. Some idols debut after a month of training. They’ve been training for years so make bloody informed comments, you asshat.
Look at it this way, a Kpop group who tries to debut here in America would be kind of weird ( if I am being completely honest) and it would be difficult for them as well, especially if they didn't have a solid fan base. So it would be cringy for them to try to do their material here in America, right? DONT LOOK AT ME WITH ROLLED EYES YOU KNOW ITS TRUE. I mean I would listen to it, but to the general public it would be weird. Now this group is doing the exact same thing, but in Korea. OF COURSE IT IS CRINGEY BECAUSE IT IS NOT THE USUAL KOREAN/Asian boys that we are used to, like how it would be if it was the same situation in america, if we had a group of Asian boys debuting into the mainstream music world. Some may recognize their talent, some will mock them. ITS HOW OUR WORLD WORKS. SUCKS, YES IT DOES, but it is what it is. So just enjoy their talent. No one is asking you to listen to them. I don't know the full story on them but apparently they are a social experiment according to some comments and look at you guys. YOU ARE WHAT THEY ARE STUDYING WITH THIS EXPERIMENT. you are the results. You are proving or disproving a thesis. You are showing what is wrong with our world. Or at least what is happening to our world. Just because they are white doesn't mean you should be bagging on them. MUSIC IS FICKING MUSIC. WE LISTEN TO IT. WE ENJOY IT. WE LIVE IT. SO FUCKING LIVE.
nolifedotcom1234 lol what do you mean. So many Kpop idols have debuted in America. In fact cl is just about to. And all they get is praise while exp get hate
Oh wow! These boys have good voices! And they are singing in Korean and dancing! They even learn the language! Daebak! Why do people here give them hate?!? Foreigners are cringey when they sing Kpop music yet when Kpop artists sing english and speak english well, people would say how good they are blah blah blah! Some people here have serious DOUBLE STANDARD issues. You all would become BIGOTS if you all carry on like that.. Jeez! Sort yourselves out! Pretty sure some of you gets annoyed if your favorite kpop artist get slammed for singing a foreign song like english..
Serendipity it's because there actually are double standards. Plus most Americans hate on kpop all the time, making fun of their English and outfits and just calling them cringey in general. I'm not saying hating on either is right but maybe try to see both sides?
Andromeda. Doesnt mean because they do it, it is okay for us to do it.. Yes, double standards do exist BUT it is up to us to be the better person. If an english speaker sings songs of different languages (or vice versa), I find it fascinating and encouraging. It would also be funny but it would make me wonderfully happy because they tried.
I think that kpop is just a music genre and it just requires some language skills (korean) to be kpop singer. It's not truth that you have to dance or rap because it's necessary in kpop, it's not. Many idols don't dance but only sing, and they are fine. Everyone can sing anything, rap, rock, pop, jazz or kpop. I don't understand why people have such a problem with accepting foreigners in korean music industry, especially because many koreans live in USA and Europe and they are famous and nobody says anything. In my country korean girl is a really famous tv star so why can't I be an idol in Korea? God made one mistake - he created colors and now they are dividing us.
name me 10 korean stars in western media? The main reason why we are so butthurt about is that kpop is were we asians can get recognition in the asian/ kpop industry and not be limited to stereotypical roles> but you know whatever
Lee ByungHun,steven yeun, daniel henney, daniel dae kim,ki honglee arden cho,YuJin Kim,ricky lee neely, linda park,Kendrick Kang Joh Jeong here are your 10 korean actors and if you don't know them blame yourselfe and not some white guys who love doing music in another language
Maria Ferchichi also i know this thread is super old but daniel dae kim quit hawaii 5-0 cause he wasnt getting paid as much as his white costars. (both the asian leads quit because of this)
wow! I'm a Suju fan! and they gave justice to their song!!! they got the voice and dancing skills too! way to go ! extra points with natural good looking beauty! 🙌🙌🙌🙌
When they're living in Korea and singing in Korean you need to stop and ask why they make you cringe. "It's because their debut video looks too American!" They were started as a college project so I think their production quality is excellent. Everyone wants to pretend like they wouldn't want a shot to be a Kpop star. Really my point is, they sing well, dance well, can speak Korean, so is your discomfort simply from the fact that they don't "look" Korean and youre sad that watching Korean boys sing and dance is being interrupted by people not from your "dream race"?
Suhos dryass jokes I mean if they comment "omg I cringed" that's not an involuntary action. But yeah I mean as long as it's for a real reason like "ah their facial expressions are strange" and not some bullshitty one
Hana Lee I admit I still don't like this group for various reasons but they are talented.People still hold on to their previous hate for them and they feel the need to hate on them because this performance was pretty good hence the cringe comments.
It doesn't matter what race they are. As long as they're learning the language and culture and they can sing, that's all that should matter.
Yeah, in their new song, they have improved their Korean but still need some work since they have an accent but you can see in their videos that they have been learning as well.
Say it louder for those in the back 😂💜
❤
Please stop the hate even Super Junior themeselves (Heechul, Shindong and Yesung) were impressed and liked them very much
zep mirales read heechul's expression
LEETEUK TOO!!!
Singing a Super Junior song in front of the Super Junior? It takes some guts to do what they did! 😍😍😍
Look at thier face expressions? Do they look impressed do you? I’d rather see suju do this
@@jessicajohnson2412 I replayed the part where they began to sing, and they actually do look impressed
The funny thing is that Koreans are supporting them and international fans aren't.
Once You Jongin ,You Cant Jongout there are a few international fans who are supporting them (found a few of us in the comments) but mostly you are right. That's so sad :(
Maybe international fans only want to see "chinitos" =asian people
Lesly Vargas that's sad and kinda racist
i don't know and i don't understand why international fans are so cruel with them
Really??I thought koreans will not like them...I'm happy to found that ❤❤
CL CAN DEBUT IN AMERICA WHILE SINGING IN ENGLISH, EXP EDITION CAN'T DEBUT IN KOREA WHILE SINGING IN KOREA
GOOD JOB PEOPLE, btw they are just social experiment all of you who hate them are the resul THANKS
*BOWING*
Said the one that replied to the comment 😂😂👌
@I'm this person is exactly why it shouldn't be cool with us. Because theres prejudice against kpop ^^^ so why should a priviledged American group who could do well in their country have to make it into kpop and destroy that shit too huh? THE PRIVILEDGE
@oyeahyeah lol oh meow moew
@lolumad Blackpink and Bts says Hi
@lolumad as much as I disagree with your trashy wordings and sentiments I have to agree. BTS appeals to a bunch of 14 year olds. It's the same trend as One Direction.
They say music is a universal language and then give hate
true, i get your pointㅡbut, like, to put in consideration, people have been giving kpop shit for years and years, and it's even considered a laughing stock to most. it still is now to some. and half of them are just now getting into kpop to ride with the trend. either you grow really kind or insanely bitter.
You are right but the problem is that they don't speak korean but they try to sing in korean lol
koreans sing english, koreans sing japanese, koreans sing chinese, so you must think that's a problem too huh?
Music, music is a universal language, the thing is, this isn't just about the music
Exactly.
michoerly zhj they’re not pointing fingers specifically, just in general the dancing is cheesy and kinda awkward at times.
송기적 lol bc korean artists do sing in english but they dont label themselves as western artists
I'm just saying that people shouldn't judge others by singing in another language. I don't care about what they label themselves. kkkk
They are actually great singer but they don’t speak Korean, and they weren’t trained like other idols.
greent3a they actually do speak Korean, I mean if you've checked up on them recently they're really good with their korean
K L same
Then u should watch them in' My neighbor Charles 'episode 118 to understand it better
*EXP Edition dances and sings so fucking good*
Yesung: *stands up abruptly in disbelief*
Heechul: *pure shock an speechless*
Shindong: *conplementing and suprised*
Leeteuk: *impressed and laughing*
Me: HOLY FUCKING SHIT THESES GUYS WHAT ARE THEIR FANDOM NAMED IMMA SIGN IN RIGHT NOW BOOI-
they re actually talented and need to be noticed more
HELL NAW. DUDE COMPARED TO ACTUAL KPOP GROUPS NOOOOO.
Sarah Kwak why not, cause they are white?
There are a lot more talented groups that have way fewer supporters and should be recognized. Also they can only sing they literally cant do anything. Not good at korean, dance, and rap. If they just did sining they could have did well in AMERICA not saying they are not doing well but just why.
BTS.You_Never_Walk_Alone no not becauce they are white! They can barely sing and pronunce the words right! They are not quite in synch
Oh my God some of u are disgusting,,
Let's be honest here, a foreigner who had the time to learn a language is something but to perform in a level where they actually can be a singer of the English language but still choose Korean is really impressive. Though I'm not feeling that they should do kpop because it's making me cringe, I must say performance is 👌
yeah you took the words out of my mouth...they do make me cringe...idk im just so used to the typical KPOP that when I look at them and see their video its more of a American Pop feeling to me and it's not because they're white...they vibe off more of American pop...they can sing...i wanna see them in PD101 cause them trainees are going through a lot...they need to step into shoes of real kpop artist and their trainee life
I think the cringe factor would go down if they were younger but the I'll give them an A for effort!
BesosdeCaramel how old are they? too lazy to search
486davinci weren't they created for a social experiment?
musicfreak4ever1 yupp they wete created because of one of their creator's thesis
wait a minute. howd EXP end up here?
martyandy23 My reaction😂😂😂
Selina 02 i had mixed feelings of their debut song. i was impressed yet felt like they trying hard. i dunno yet
martyandy23 same, i was about to begin to study but i saw them 😅
There a kpop band living and debuting in Korea.
Because they are actually talented as much as people don't like them just because they're American and trying to make it in Korea.
You can't even give them a chance?
talkingofdragons hey I literally just thought about Alex lol HAHAHAHAHAHA
I personally have no beef with it, since they did it respectfully and promoted in Korea, rather than targeting America/not Korea.
However, just to give another perspective/how I could see where people would be upset:
If you think of it as if someone loves a small, on-the-rise restaurant that serves authentic ethnic food.
To continue this analogy in EXP’s situation, it’s like:
The nice, respectful person with a shady family history was taught a recipe by the authentic eatery, added their own flair to it, and then sold it to the eatery.
THAT SINGING THO!!! WOW!!! and they actually speak Korean!? WOW
Seriously guys- DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER
yesung's face when they started singing was precious. i hope exp edition would go far with their dream.
THAT!
CY_ K 👏👏👏
CY_ K you can't be racist to white people , reverse racism doesn't exist .
your comment should be on top
Aqsa, hahahahahah you serious?
When non-Koreans can sing in korean better than some Koreans. 🤦🏻♀️Lol that’s how I feel rn. I suck at life. Lol
IGot7, VIP, Aroha talent isn’t connected to ethnicity
Kaleb Sok I wasn’t talking about being Asian you have to sing. Since you couldn’t comprehend my comment, they’re singing IN KOREAN better THAN some actual Koreans who can’t pronounce their own language correctly 🙄
IGot7, VIP, Aroha I’m guessing you’re referring to Koreans growing outside of South Korea?
they're doing a thing that me personally have never seen kpop idols do: sing vocal harmonies LIVE. i insist, maybe some kpop group has done it, but i've never seen it.
valentin palenque phonograph concert and super show 6’s evanesce dont exist for nothing sister
Perfect LIVE harmonisation is one of the reason TV5XQ became famous
Why are people bitching and being racist to these 4 boys, I believe they have talent not because of the way look, but the way they sang they did an awesome job.
Jason Le yea ikr
They did really well,
They have pretty good vocals I was not expecting that
"racist" FKFRJBDBHGHDFDBGJKO
Jason Le SPEAK THE TRUTH
am i the only one who think they did a very good job???
Slow Luna here I respect there talent than their color
They have talent and definely can sing, but it's still weird put them as "K-IDOLS" or a "KPOP GROUP"
definitely**
Slow Luna no I'm with you 👏🏼👏🏼
better then them own song .. but not that to woow about '-'
I wasn't sure about this group but I think I like them better. They sound better in this video than their mv
seungkwan ass is to shine to look at "Feel Like This"
I ACTUALLY FIND FOREIGNERS EXPRESSING THEIR LOVE TO KOREAN MUSIC SO MUCH THAT THEY START A KPOP GROUP THEMSELVES SO HEARTWARMING.
Their voices are great. I like this song.
Joanne Kim This is Super Junior's song
They actually can sing, I don't know what everyone is so upset about....
Autotune
you can clearly see and hear that they are lip syncing.
Bc they copied exo name and changed it to exp. They even called it exp planet.
Olilol KPOP is much more than just singing
oh my god your dp!!! Felix!!! wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Peace
Edit: just found out they are an experiment group I feel stupid lol should've done more research my bad.
Hayhay Brillantes hey is the author Korean ? And do you know the company's name? Just want to do more research on this group lol
is this exp edition? 😂
yes hahahaha
kim kpopmultifandom ._. No it's BTS (sarcasm ) but TBH they didn't do bad
kim kpopmultifandom ._. i think they pretty good ☺
Isabelle Sals Agree, let them haters hate and just keep improving guys. Besides, Koreans themselves like them, so who are we to stop them from being a Kpop group?
No it's exo edition
와 진짜 잘한다.. 수퍼 주니어 플로리다에도 팬이 많아요..
I actually liked their performence a LOT! Their pronounciation may not be ON POINT but they are really talented!!!! I love this!
wow they have good vocals
This is lip syncing
ARMYatHeart this is not lip syncing
Chaeryl Min R u sure? Because it rlly looks like it
ARMYatHeart if I not wrong in this show majority people sing live.
for me this sounds live
y'all can talk shit about them but theres no denying that they all can sing like dAMN
Esmeralda de Vries youre never watch this program? are u?
Esmeralda de Vries are you serious?
Singing isn't the only thing a kpop star needs to rise
Bagel Kitten lmao true, but they honestly aren't even half as bad as people are putting them off as. everyone can have different opinions on in but I just stand in the middle on it all, if they are truly putting time and hard work into it all, I don't see why they can't have a chance either??
Esmeralda de Vries lmao, if you're gonna be a troll, take Jin off your pfp. I doubt he'd like some troll to be saying negative things about other people with his face.
the kpop industry has reached THAT level where everyone now wants a piece of it, and I don't know how I feel about that...
kikslali My feel girl My feel. This is when you know sth is getting trendy... 😕
kikslali some people tryna go with kpop nowadays for popularity
kikslali ikr its so goddamn annoying. like, i got no problem if you genuinely like it. like, hey, take a piece and fuck with it, i don't care. but if you're getting into kpop solely because of all the hype and fame it has and that it would increase your status and popularity rapidly, which is basically what most youtubers and foreign artists nowadays do lmao, then fuck outta here.
kikslali ikr, for me, the fact that that kpop is great but unrecognised is kinda what drew me into it in the first place
But a lot of actual fans would love to be idols
와우... 화음넣으면서 노래를.... 멋있다...
SUPPORT THEIR NEW SONG, "STRESS"!
They really have improved but it's okay
but it could be better and better.
Also, Koki is looking good in his pink suit. 😍
I feel like the only one supporting them...
You are not alone I am here with you on supporting.lol
Mya Gracia. me too
Mya Gracia 🙋
me either, I would like to see how far they can go
You are not alone! I will give them a chance because they seem talanted and they make effort!
i dont mind if they want to debut as kpop group, but i want them to experience how other idol train to debut as an idol, all i see now their passion like how other trainee had to be an idol..but passion only not gonna work.. the successfull group always had more than passion..
izza hanz SAME but then ik their managers don't have the money and experience to train them like that TBH..
But they are training just not the high classes training
people are too innocent ..its BUSINESS this group is only marketing strategy .everybody knows how popular kpop groups are around the world and how big are their fandoms .some international fans dont like it because its cringe haha but maybe some asian fans fall for them .
i think after 2 months of hard training they will give up.
Well in youtube there are many much better non asian youtubers who makes amazing kpop covers
cree lol, you don't see them starting a group though.
I'm sorry but as a Korean I'm telling you: their Korean pronunciation is better in this cover than their official song (not that it's good). And they do need to level up their dancing.. I can tell they practiced and all, but it just isn't good enough
they don't go through everything kpop groups go through- after all this is a experiment
Sophie Hwang they are training as they promote their group though. they are trying to the best of their ability.
Lowkey the one in the red can sing but yall didn't hear this from me
They sing better than some idols....
m vang no
Natashia Septirymen the truth is, yes. they are very talented. lol
True tho lol
1000% true
who are u listening to then if this even remotely sounds good??
thank you for letting me know. :) I don't know Busker Busker that well.
Knowing that most of the members are actually used to be in musical theater I’m not shocked that they have really good voices
There're tons of Kpop idols who didnt take the training or trained for like 2 months and now you complain about these guys didnt go through any training.
Maybe you dont know, they did train themselves, they just dont have a huge company who did it for them.
Respect. I take my hat down for them!
Stop the hate. Respect. They have the talent. Admit it! They're vocals are on point, even better than some idols.
If only I could like your comment a million times! These gentlemen definitely have talent!
I agree with you 1000% on everything you said. All of your points were what I was thinking.
Lizzie B Koreans... aren't... a.... minority.... in... the.... Korean... entertainment.... industry.... lmao
... well if you think asian people have it hard in the American industry, look for the muslim ones..
Saaya Hayase but it's a short cut and is unfair for the people who actually train their asses off but may never debut
This is morelike a social experiment which was created by a Korean woman.
thank you NALU
I don't give a fuck what international people think about them. The thing that I am most curious about is: What do Koreans think about them? What were their reactions and opinions on a "K-Pop group formed in America"
crescendo yeeeees, like koreans should do a reaction.
The Koreans actually seem to support them 😊
Haley W Really, do koreans also like ALEX from BP RANIA. 😏🙊
loren elisa jr. pierre I heard she has some Korean fans, so maybe it's true maybe some Korean fans really do like Alex. maybe it's the reason that they had invited her into the group and she didn't force her way through the kpop industry, who knows why some like her.
thankyou for asking this.. this is all I want to know
Don't understand all you people writing in the comments. Cringe-worthy? Weird? Just enjoy the music lol
lemon thunder bird but it isn't not enjoyable
It is cringeworthy!! I admit they can sing a little but they arent in synch and they cant pronouce the words correctly
district9 i cant only enjoy this song if its super junior who sings it! I dont call this music
@@jessicajohnson2412 are you crazy?
i think why people are feeling cringe-y to this group because its the first time that there is a group of foreigners that debut in a kpop scene. we are used to see covers everywhere but to actually see a full foreign group (without any korean in it) debuting in south korea is i think, a shock? we are used to seeing thai, chinese, japanese people in korean groups, but these people are from across the globe. they are good and i hope to see them in more variety shows to see what more can they offer. so let's be chill to them and see them grow in kpop. :)
agree!
I’ve been watching this thousand of times and never get bored. They are so talented 👏 👏 👏
Same
no matter how many times i watch this i cant get tired of yesung's reactions bc he's just cute and i love him ♡
is no one going to talk about how they got rid of their black members before debuting
Yeah I wonder what happen to them I thought I read some where one of them didn't want to move to Korea and had other commitments. But I honestly don't know.
Chloe M. I'm screaming I was thinking the same thing 💀
They left of their own accord because black people ain't in the business of taking L's 😩
X Kay LMAAAOOOO😂
WHITES ONLY
these dudes have more talent then any of the people commenting hate
rlly?
@@letyv9071 yesss really
why are ppl hating on them, can't u just enjoy the song -.-
LyeLye yes I know they are covering suju's song, but ppl are hating on them because they are exp edition
i still remember a lot of people making fun of them when they first started and even im still a little bit “eh” about them but i won’t deny that they’ve definitely got talent. the fact that they moved around a lot yet their voices were still stable is amazing.
I love this boys, I can tell they're working hard to achieve their dreams....EXP EDITION fighthing!!!
This ain't no experiment these guys are serious, so much hateful comments on their first MV, look at the audience they enjoyed their performance idk why so much hate out there give them a chance ppl if you don't like them then simply don't watch, Good vocals in my opinion EXP 파이팅!!!👍🏻
kpop= Korean pop
They suck at Korean, they make kpop look bad, they should go to normal pop. How do you not get this?
no name ok your entitled to your own opinion if you don't like don't watch and their Korean is getting better and you can see the audience in this video are enjoying their performance so why the hate just enjoy like I said if you don't like don't watch 👋🏻
you can also see host's or whatever's reactions

Jungkook's rebel hair lol, your comment is what I like most
InTerNatioNal PlayBoi Props to you and your brilliant joke
KumamonbelongstoSuga exp edition don't sing
They are trying to win back their fans that have converted to kpopism 🤣🤣🤣
Kpooperz, let's demand mnet invite BgA!!
monsquare production :3 YEAHH
monsquare production :3 omg yes
YASSSS
Line distribution based on vocal ability is SO GOOD HERE
How are my ears not bleeding? This is one major upgrade for them. (They still aren't really a K-pop group tho, in my opinion).
They are good singers no one can deny it but still is awkward and cringey 🙈🙈
how are they cringey?
Dovid Cohen they're a complete different race other than Asian, aren't fluent in korean, are poor dancers, kpop doesn't suit them, etc. . .
Slim Jim in one of them is half Asian 🤷♀️
I'm 127 out "one" and he only has a little bit of Asian in him. The majority of the group is completely white
"little bit" as in half? Pretty sure he is half Japanese. He's good looking too. If he wanted to make a career in Korea or Japan, I think he could get work on his visuals alone lol.
I'm a EXP EDITION fan!! 😍😍😍😍💪💪💪
Jimin Park I hope you're being sarcastic
some Asian guy why? if she likes the group, there is not problem at all
some Asian guy im asian too and i dont mind calling you pathetic. :))
some Asian guy

Al fin, un comentario en español! :'D
I personally think that they are better than many idol groups out there in live performance. WOW~
PS: Finally cutie Ben is back ^^
very impressed by their strong and stable vocal while they do so much dancing! Many current kpop groups can't sing live like them !!
i think their good.. their got good voice.. good looking.. and can dance.. see their hard work to sing in korean and learn Korean language.. just like Kpop idol too.. their try to speak English and sing English song..why can we just accept them.. and like them like we like our idol.. them have a talent too.. (this just my opinion.. and sorry for the bad grammar)
nur jannah good looking my ass
even the rapper can sing yo this group has so much potential
잘생긴 그룹' 외국인멤버가 잘생겼어
Chill you guys...They are not bad tho...:) Can't you guys at least repsect their hard work?!!
It's because they're 1. White, the race card is usually strong af 2. They are salty that they didn't do the idol process, it's not like Eric Nam or John Park, both American-(Korean) didn't do that... it's so fucking stupid, yet no one compliments them to take their time to learn THE LANGUAGE LIKE
Thiên Kim Thankssssss (but they did train for 1 year)
People are being harsh on them...Just enjoy the music...Or just ignore them...
Thiên Kim That's why i don't like Korean's, THEY ALWAYS JUDGE PEOPLE FROM OUTSIDE, AND ESPECIALLY PHYSICAL :)))
SORRY I'M ANNOYED WITH K****N PEOPLE, NOT YOU, HEHE xD ✌👍
desnitany apparently the general public is pretty respectful towards them. The feedback on naver and forums aren't that bad. It's all the international fans that are so aggro
Im crying. I miss Suju so much. And i dont feel cringe at all watching this performance. They did a very great job!!!!!! #elfhere
atikah nabila yes yes yes 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
the rude and racist comment need to stop..you hate them so much because they are western try to sing kpop and etc but you want your oppas to debut in america and slay billboard whatsoever...so racist...stop it.. just enjoy the music
Dont call me oppa they aren't being racist lol stop
Dont call me oppa lmao those oppas your referring to slayed billboard with a song that is actually in their language
Dont call me oppa so true tour comment
+Charity Peter learning a different language and singing in a different language is forbidden now, I guess
Stop the hate istg jeez seriously LET THEM DO THIS THEY WORKED HARD TOO FFS
Everyone deserves a chance to shine. Where is your love ya'll? Fighting EXP EDITION, thumbs up for you guys :)
can someone tell me why theyre getting lots of hate, enlighten me
Because of white privilege...
They don't deserve all the hate they're getting
Eliza M but they do
some Asian guy No, nobody deserves it when they didn't do anything wrong
Sara Díaz in one of their videos it had a title With Asian American in it and they are clearly not Asian
some Asian guy Actually one of them is partly Asian, don't go around saying things unless you know about them.
idk why you're all cringing while I'm just enjoying their awesome perf. Tbh, they're far better than SOME of your "Oppas" and "Eonnies", who only know how to lipsync and do cute gestures in front of the cam smh 🙄
Anne Canlas OMG PREACH
Fancy Flower i don't think so, it's clearly isn't 😂
Anne Canlas Preach.
Fancy Flower but as far as I know, this show doesn't tolerate lip syncing. Maybe there's a backtrack but I can clearly hear their live voices.
Jbooks Mc haha not all kpop stars go though hard training....some debut alert a few months
Jbooks Mc ~ no you idiot, they did.
Some idols debut after a month of training. They’ve been training for years so make bloody informed comments, you asshat.
omg....dats exp??!!!I'll support them in future..fighting ~~~
some comments here are just too mean omg unbelievable ..... !!!!
Chaimae Azanoun Tachfint thank you thank you. 🙏🙇♀️ *closest to finding a bowing emoji lol
nolifedotcom1234 LONG LIVE THE PRESIDENT ! you sounded like you just gave an awareness social speech 😂
Wan MuhdYusuf better than the president we have now. 😅🙈🙈🙈
nolifedotcom1234 lol what do you mean. So many Kpop idols have debuted in America. In fact cl is just about to. And all they get is praise while exp get hate
nolifedotcom1234 I agree but there are some Kpop idols that debuted in America
woh this is so gudd ! ! ! 11/10 woh woh ! ! !
3:01 I was genuinely tryna enjoy the performance but their 'onyhaeseyo' cracked me up 😂😂
프랭키~시메~헌터~키코칼근무.노래짱.핸섬가이들♡♡♡
Serendipity EXACTLY. THANKS
Facts
Maria Ferchichi and how many of those actors are relevant and could be recognized in the streets? ... just steven yeun.
The guy in red seems like the leader of the group
He is the leader
They really speak well, I’m impressed, they improved a lot, I like it !!!
You mean exo walmart edition?
Lunnie Louis in seriousness I actually have seen a got7 and a bts album in Walmart in the past. (not exo but yea)
Linda Nguyen dont even compare them to exo 😥😥
Linda Nguyen yes they just went to the next letter of the alphabet
Seriously Linda ?
When they're living in Korea and singing in Korean you need to stop and ask why they make you cringe. "It's because their debut video looks too American!" They were started as a college project so I think their production quality is excellent. Everyone wants to pretend like they wouldn't want a shot to be a Kpop star. Really my point is, they sing well, dance well, can speak Korean, so is your discomfort simply from the fact that they don't "look" Korean and youre sad that watching Korean boys sing and dance is being interrupted by people not from your "dream race"?
Hana Lee Their facial expressions are sorta awkward. No hate though.
Hana Lee Cringing isn't voluntary it just happens. It not people's fault if they cringe
Suhos dryass jokes I mean if they comment "omg I cringed" that's not an involuntary action. But yeah I mean as long as it's for a real reason like "ah their facial expressions are strange" and not some bullshitty one
Hana Lee I admit I still don't like this group for various reasons but they are talented.People still hold on to their previous hate for them and they feel the need to hate on them because this performance was pretty good hence the cringe comments.
they can sing and dance and they look good ... i dont see a problem
OH MY GOD THIS IS THE GROUP IVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND! They started in states and got so much hate and no one thought they’d succeed
WOW, powerful strong vocals! Singing and speaking Bi-lingual is definitely a plus!!
Impressive!
