it feels like Disney loves to get hated, they will feel it in the long run, my kids wont use any Disney stuff and wont bother taking them to Disney world, I hope they will do that with their kids too
Ironic that a series all about an oppressed group and the battle for social change getting criticized for representing an oppressed social group and battling for social change
You're not wrong AT ALL, all I'm saying is for Hollywood just come up with an original story with original characters that express those social change ideas instead of altering already established work(s). Thanks for the view :)
@@Madanth0ny In-universe, mutations are occasionally used as an allegory, yes. And sometimes more directly with a number of queer mutants facing discrimination (Iceman, mystique, etc.)
@@solblackguy Maybe you don't know my political affiliation or personality type. Maybe you're in the comment section acting like a bitch. Maybe middle America doesn't want culture war BS in their entertainment and unfortunately can't get away from it. Maybe that's all I'm saying.
Your opening statements are 100% how I have felt for the last couple years at first I used to think it was trying to further their movement but at this point it's only working against all sides. It's just about division nothing more and nothing less
Not for nothing but Morph being nonbinary kinda makes sense, shapeshifters aren't one or the other. So I don't see why this merits a total meltdown. I'd argue Morph was always nonbinary we just didn't have the words to accurately describe it until recently. But to be honest I could care less about it either way, if it's good it's good and if it's bad it's bad. So I'll wait and see how it actually goes before I condemn it.

@@Film_OverloadI agree, it’s lazy. Do the work and create something new and original for that community to identify with.
Really don't think a modern-day "aryan race" counts as an oppressed group.
You calling gays mutants ??

Figures disney would ruin another great show...
Some words of wisdom from the Chinese youth lay flat, let it rot 😒
Not surprised. Always disappointed. This all needs to be stopped.
Maybe stop making your political affiliation your personality type and get real issues to worry about instead of culture war b/s

Yeah dude they're making the baby books and movies my toddler likes really weird
I get that comics are for little kids but do they have to be so weird???
I mean I didn't see it mentioned or a point at all in the show, so there's that

I believe he was known to be a ladies man and very much interested in women. 🤷🏻
