Dude, I'm surprised you didn't say that there is actually 1 Blockbuster location left in the entire country located in Bend, Oregon, (which is still there actually). Also, is that Phantom Strider in the Wright Now Family commercial?! If so, he looks super-duper dope dudes! Also, I wish Blockbuster would make a comeback as a streaming service like Blockbuster+ or something like that where they showcase all sorts of different movies, shows, and games that you can play in the modern era as well as the era of when Blockbuster was around and when they actually sold their movies, shows, and games back in the 80s and 90s. It would be kind of like both Disney+ and Paramount+ but it would also showcase games, rather than just movies, shows, and exclusive content. Also, I'm surprised you did not talk about other competitors of Blockbuster (besides Netflix) like both Hollywood Video and Family Video in the Midwest. Those were kind of popular too but sadly not as popular as Blockbuster, Netflix, or Redbox combined (especially Family Video because like I said, it was mostly a popular video store in the Midwest rather than all over the country like Blockbuster).
Lastly, I didn't know Blockbuster made an ad campaign of no late policies back in the day that's quite interesting actually. I also didn't even know they made an ad with Netflix as their competitor in their own ad when they were mailboxes showcasing that they were better than Netflix by showcasing that they shipped not only movies and shows, but yes you guessed it (as I already said it in a different comment), they also shipped games too which is something Netflix did not ship to us (although Redbox did and still have to this day). Also speaking of Redbox, another thing I didn't even know was that they made a kiosk machine similar to Redbox as a comeback for trying to promote themselves to be popular again but sadly that didn't last long which made sense considering Redbox came up with the kiosk idea first much like Netflix their other competitor came up with the idea of shipping both movies and shows to your houses rather than traveling to your local video rental store in a vehicle wasting gas like Blockbuster.
