That is easy. The Diavel is exciting modern, has better brakes, tires, more power. But i bought the Sportster S. If you design well away from mainstream - that are both in my opinion - you get your fans. I am one of the Sportster S, but boring is none of them. Who owns one of them and everytime you watch your bike smiling, you know you did it right.

They are both good looking bike
Power wise Ducati Diavel is far better bike over all
Its like comparing a Ford focus to a Lamborghini. There's no comparison the Devil is so far a head its in another decade.
