You can easily kill the chariots in Auriza's Hero Tomb by standing in the alcove he enters and pausing the video at 11:23. Directly ahead you can see an open window across the ramp that is located higher up in the wall. If you can throw a pot just right (took me 3 tries with a fire pot) it will go in the window and explode and hit the pillar. The chariot will appear in front of you while you stand in the alcove and you can do the whole dungeon without having to worry about the chariots at all. It makes this dungeon so much easier!
Use Margitt's shackle. It sends out a pulse that hits the pillar. It also breaks illusory walls.
I found out today that the beast repellent torch actually works on the basilisks and you can use it to take them out individually! Just an FYI
As long as they see you first from far away, they won't attack. But if they started as an ambush, they will get a hit on you.
Tip for the Auriza Side Tomb, use Rainbow stones to mark your progress, it will make your a life a little easier
For the shackles, you can pop them literally as you walk into the dungeon. It's area of effect seems to affect the whole dungeon. Revealing invisible walls too.
Trivializes the entire place by getting rid of the chariots before you even step foot on a ramp.
I know it's a minor detail, but I enjoy the little word spills you keep in instead of editing out.
It’s amazing, I got the game about 2 weeks before patch 1.04 and I’m basically just arriving in this area when you released the guide! Thanks for all your hard work. Lately I’ve been checking all of these again to make sure I haven’t missed anything.

This is maybe a somewhat trivial/"well ackshually" thing, but those enemies like the one that does karate kicks and was guarding the Crucible Knot Talisman toward the end of this video is an Omen. They're pretty lore important so yeah. Good video Dom!
My advice is when you arrive to Auriza Hero´s Tomb. Forget about collecting or following the instructions he is giving. Just skip to the part on how to destroy the charriots. Don´t use the thing that will make you lose the runes. The path itself will get you back to that zone where the charriots get destroy. It will be way easier to explore
For Auriza Tomb. Rainbow stones save you headaches if you get lost. Plop some down to mark which you have opened, etc
09:48 I absolutely HATE this crap when a message just waits for you to press triangle and disables you from attacking until you have properly confirmed and acknowledged that the thing you just used, has in fact been used. I've died or taken dumb damage several times because of that 😅
if you use Margit's or any other shackle as soon as you enter Auriza Hero's Tomb and then head to the part in 11:04 the chariot will spawn in and destroy the chariots before you even reach the boss door, you don't have to physically raise the flame tower 😉
Note that the Prawn guy doesn't just sell you "some items"....his boiled crab is a 20% physical damage reduction for 60 seconds (certainly one of the best in class consumables). I think some other quests can end up removing him from the game, so consider stocking up on those (I don't know if he leaves a bell bearing when he's gone?)
He leaves a bell bearing if you complete his quest, not sure if he does if you don’t complete his quest. Also not sure if he leaves it if you kill him, but I’ve been using the hell out of the crab!
@@kristasimpson3139 sadly you can't buy his prawns or crab if you kill him, he was one of the first npc's I saw and killed him for Rya's necklace without thinking that you could buy it from him and sadly I'm locked out of them :(
His bell bearing will reflect what part of the quest and whatbjis sellable inventory is. So if you kill him straight away, you get just his helmet and maybe his weapon im not sure about that part. Kill him after talking to him and you'll get the bell bearing but only prawn, no crab, and his normal loot (although still not surrle if he has a weapon in lunaria or not. Kill him after talking to him in the capital and you'll get to buy crab now, which is 20% damage reduction consumable, and if you kill him now, you get all his loot plus his whole shop. But I wouldn't kill him, because at the capital you can also let someone else kill him durring a different questline which gives a special drop, plus the normal bell bearing and weapon/helmet.
Hot tip to defeat the Draconic Tree Sentinel - sneak up behind him and use the poison mist incantation. It takes a while but repeated use of the mist will drain his health and he doesn't even move! It's a cheese move as hell though
Freezing Mist also does not aggro because there is no direct damage, but I'm not sure if a staff can be used while crouching or if a charged one can be used while standing a bit farther to kill him faster with poison without him noticing. ❄🧪
I poisoned him. I tried fighting him but he killed me at half health but 4 times so I cheesed him lol
For the auriza dungenon (5:16) just use something to mark where you already pass through, like that shining stones that you throw at the floor.
I normally throw then "inside" the chest
I did those two dungeons about 3 days after the game was released, puzzled that all out by myself with plenty of cursing. I envy every person who can use this fantastic guide.

Theres similar places like this in the game. I was confused at first but it was obvious to me what the game was doing once I was running in a circle

You can cheese the Draconic Tree Sentinel. Change all of your flasks to FP, sneak behind him, and Poison Mist him repeatedly. It takes forever, but he never activates.
Never kill Black Guard if you want boiled crab meat (improved boiled prawns).
Also had no idea that talisman existed. i thought I went through enough of all that place after crashing the chariots and then killing the bosses with ease via shield bro army and killing spear first.
The Twiggy crystal for the physics lasts for a very long time actually. Oh and Blackguard here sells one of if not the best damage negation consumables in game fyi.
Backguard Bogart actually sells boiled crabs if you didn't kill him, which are fantastic and fairly cheap. I stocked up on 99 before he was killed by Dung Eater.
Once again my friend, thank you for producing and posting this video. I generally start my Elden Ring experience these day by watching a "Thing You Missed" guide. The thing I love about your guides is they oft remind me of things I forgot to do - like progress Blackguard Boggart's questline. So I am off to do that before watching any more of this, ta.

Hi Dom, love the content buddy.. I'm not sure if anyone else put this but you can use margits shackle in the hero's tomb to make the pillar move from far away and it kills all 3 chariots when u get to them. I found this out afterwards... makes moving around the dungeon alot easier.

oh so this is how the charriots died. I activated the fire pillar, and then moved on with my merry life through the dungeon and then when i was done and jumped back out to where the charriots where i immediatly got a load of loot and the charriots where gone. I was pretty confused
Can confirm: Activating Margit's Shackle after the first chariot once you jump down will in fact spawn the third chariot right away. Guess how many times I died before I remembered to try it? *sigh*
I will try next time, but rainbow stones seem like a good way of not getting lost a auriza tomb

SUPER USEFUL tip against those Draconic Tree Sentinels, use a colossal sword/weapon and use the Giant Hunt ash of war. Each hit stuns him and pushes him back so you can stun lock him and make the fight a breeze!

I used my bow to shoot the pillar from where you're standing @15:23 to lower the pillar and cause the crashing event. I had no idea what happened as I started getting all of these rewards and the chariots disappeared.
That last dungeon is an absolute nightmare.

There are several of those faces and cypts that look alike rainbow stones make finding everything easier
A tip for dealing with basilisks - if you have the beast repellent torch equipped, they will not attack. They will even stop attacking if you equip it in the middle of battle. Makes them easy pickings.
yes, I don't know what I do, just playing with the fire pillar then I shocked where all this items come from??? haha... nice dungeon with nice suprise loot, until I enter the boss arena, no more smiley face.
At 13:25 all you have to do is run down the direction the fire is blasting at now you hit it, turn left and stand at the edge of the open way where the chariot is going up and down and it will blow up once it hits the light at the bottom, you just made it twice as hard for yourself as it should be with your method

A little hint about the chariot dungeon is too use either of the shackles Margit or Moghs and they'll activate the fourth chariot when u get to a certain point and they all go boom early
The spot at 13:19 is the exact spot u can use the shackle and that's where they go boom and easy dungeon after that

Repeating dungeons get a lot less confusing if you just use some rainbow stones.
Hey Domtastic guy , you might want to invest in a couple good strike weapons alot of enemies are weak towards em , some great club or Mace types would be worth it especially when you fight those giant golems and tunnel Diggers , my personal favorites are those bubbles weapons and Great Stars , but you should really try one of those especially the Great club gold bubble weapons bubble , I literally melted the dragon I encountered in calid , and it was only around+6 needless to say sometimes you have to switch to the right weapon to clear these places easy , all in all good video 🙂
If you use the best repellant torch the basilisk don't attack

idk if you can do this but i did the death trick and just used the mimic branch thing so i died after hitting the fire column, didn't lose any runes and then ran back and they crashed.

Well, the series is called "things you missed' for a reason :)
Auriza hero's tomb becomes trivial with Margit's shackle. Use it to activate the pillar from a long distance and break the chariots immediatly.
Also, if you didnt know yet: Margitts shackle can also be used to reveal hidden walls. It sends out a long range pulse that deals 1 point of hidden damage to illusory walls, pillar traps and will stun Margit in the first phase of the fight.
Ugh now I have to go back to the chariots

Actually i liked this chariot dungeon much better than the mt gelmier chariot dungeon. Fuck that place, fuck that place entirely, especially where those 2 chariots are not killable at all.
The funniest thing about that dungeon is it was my own greed that ruined me. I got to the secret finger hammer just fine, and then fell into a hole on accident while grabing a glovewort, and it dropped me right off at the boss door, lol. I won the fight, but I got greedy and wanted all the other loot and the extra runes, and just to experience the entire dungeon, and all it's mysteries and challenges... and all it cost me was everything... like 10 times. :(.
My friend, you don’t need to lose you runs when you have the fire pillar. Just due in front of the fire to be taken back up and when the chariots collide and are now gone retrieve your runes. Don’t use the grace mimic. It’s a waste.
why is it u use the mimic to go back to last camp fire when i just use the map?

Dom there is one chest that dont teleport always on the same Spot it change between 2of them thats why you are confused
if those two crucible knights are one of the hardest , astel is one of the hardest , margit is one of the hardest , am gonna have fun in this game since pretty much killed both astel and margit first try , the crucible knights were harder but since they both can be parried , well , let's just say they are easy
I've just given up on heroes graves. Let the heroes have em: dealing with those g#$&amn chariots just isn't worth it.
HELP at Gelmir hero grave in the room with the grace there is a sound of a Scarab in that room. No guides show anything and everything else that's in any of those I've already found but I cannot figure out where the Scarab is and on top of that I've been thinking about this 'this hero grave is the only one with those chariot guys that we can't kill' got to be a way right.
That's in another place close by, not in the Hero Grave
You talking about the Grace right at the entrance inside the tomb, before you go in proper and explore?

I like the game but jest to mine bugs for me . At the final boss been there for 4 week now every time i go in it bugs out and can't do damage to it . At this pon't i'm thing of quite playing

Nah this is false. You don't have to go back to the start and witness the crash. I sent the pillar up on multiple characters and then went to where the dragonfly heads were and they all just died.
