- The plaintiff dated the defendant, a landlord, for five years, and he was so jealous that he planted a tape recorder in her car. During the course of their relationship, the plaintiff says they purchased five televisions together, but the defendant owes her for one of them, so the plaintiff is suing. The plaintiff also alleges the defendant owes her for a transmission and an insurance refund. The defendant insists the plaintiff uses drugs. He denies owing the plaintiff anything because he says he paid for everything when they were together.
