So I went to the login link....signed in thinking the homepage would pop up showing the different movies & tv shows like the last homepage. Why am I seeing 'download the app to stream' now? Especially if I just wanted to check my account.

Feel confused - I've been doing this for months! lol
My only theory - I was an early volunteer - beta mode when I first read about it somewhere, and soon it will be required.
Have to say, it's wonderful! Email is used for log-in, and only one password, for all Disney connected accounts.

It soft launched last year, but they've renamed the system and made some adjustments to combine everything

got to love Disney removing content to put on Hulu that was already on disney plus. I will not pay more for hulu.

I do this already essentially, as a subscriber to The Disney Bundle. Is this a new project? Will they update the apps to require the new system?

They soft launched it last year, so you might not notice much of a change bar the name
