Antony: John Scofield is a hard working musician... He's is a Huge Universe of Music to be heard. I could easily spend another year just listening to all of his work... never boring.
I am glad to have explored this phenomenal guitarist. Doesn't feel that difficult to understand what he's doing here . It's not too technical nor are there any overuse of notes. Every second of his playing sounds and feels great .
John Scofield aparenta complicarse en una formidable madeja de notas, sin embargo termina hallando prendedores dorados, maravillosos retazos de blues añejo y hasta pequeños tesoros de funky-rock en galeras olvidadas.
It should be a certain Jesse Murphy(Check the CD entitled Überjam by Scofield &Co..) Anyway..all of them are great ..and Scofield a very open minded genius!!
Felice Rainone Haha...How could it be Jesse Murphy? This bass player here is not the white bassist Jesse Murphy you pointed out. Did you notice? Thanks anyway....
Well..sorry I have never seen him. I've read his name on Scofield's CD..moreover there are not any pictures there.. ..only great music and nice paintings..bye and have good time
I think this execution sounded a bit lonely and slow to start up, would have been good to have another soloist or if Avi had been a bit more active but glad I could see this video anyway
Well... It's a matter of taste. I'm not denying the quality of the guys you mention, but, as I'm far more into fusion, I don't get excited with bands that lean to much in traditional jazz. In my humble opinion, this band follows the trace that Miles left in Scofield's playing. Cheers :)

Is that song from Überjam? Just asking 'cause I'm trying to get into some Scofield and I don't know where to start. Anyone has an idea ?
Its the first song from the first überjam release.
@@LtdNulty Late to the party here, but my gateway drug was A Go Go. Scofield with Medeski, Martin, and Wood.. Awesome end to end.
Yes it is from Uberjam.

Anyone know the name of the drummer destroying that kit?
Adam Deitch, from Lettuce.
Where does he find all these tones?
South asian vibes with funky tone
Who is the bass player ? Please tell.
It should be a certain Jesse Murphy(Check the CD entitled Überjam by Scofield &Co..)

I must disagree I think Steve Swallow bass and Bill Stewart drums is a much more talented band.
Yes but for this song these musicians are the right ones.
