Video Tutorial. How To Make Wafer Paper Butterflies. Art Tart.

In this tutorial you're going to learn how to make beautiful wafer paper butterflies, which look so realistic, that it's hard to believe that it is so easy to create them. Wafer paper (also known as rice paper) is a starch based material, made from potato or rice starches. Although it's edible, I doubt you would like a taste of nothing and the feeling that you chewing a paper (let's be real). But this paper does help to create gorgeous flowers, butterflies, feathers, prepared decorations for cake tops and so on, saving time and your nerves in comparison to creating the same things out of fondant or gum paste.
For my project I used:
***Oasis Supply Kosher Wafer Paper
***Wilton Gel Food Colors (Teal Turquesa)
***Alan Tetreault Color Gel (Super White, Navy Blue, Super Black)
***Platinum Vodka (to stick two pieces together), but you can use clear piping gel, light corn syrup or a little dab of egg whites on a brush to "glue" two pieces together, but be careful with the egg white method, because it can easily deform your piece when dries out.
***I also used floral wire (26 GA)
***Scissors
***Brushes

Where did u get the pattern of the butterflies?

I googled any random butterfly silhouette, transferred it to the parchment paper and cut it out. Then traced on a cardboard.
