Great job!!! During the past 2 months, I've repaired my washing machine (installed new lower bearings--$30 which saved about $200 doing it myself), oven (repaired electronic oven control panel that is no longer available--$100, but saved the cost of a new drop-in oven $1400), and lawn sprinkler system (replaced deteriorated riser for sprinkler head--70 cents which saved over $100 the cost of a service call.) I think your UA-cam channels are the best!

I do the same thing. If something quits working my kids throw it away, and if I can retrieve it, I'll give it a try to fix. My son told me to throw away a small Laminator the other day, as it wasn't getting hot; but haven't had a chance to check it yet, but definitely will. I'm basically a Pack Rat too. I don’t know if my laminators broken so should I try it again
I cut the laminator sheet to laminate something small, now it is stuck inside and I can't see it. How can it be opened? I see no screws.

Mine makes a clacking sound and paper stops going thru. Don't know whats wrong.
What about if the roller stops working? It wouldn't feed so I opened it up but what can I do?

My dad had a room just like that but also with a ham radio! I want to do a solar panel, would love a diy. Not sure what you do with the inverter and sine waves or some such. In other words just haven't applied myself to it and you should do it for me hahahaha! Can't believe no one pulled that sheet out?! O.O
That is something I am interested actually. Perhaps on a small scale. It gets pretty expensive if you want to feed it into your house and let it automatically do the switching.
BeatTheBush DIY yeah my goal is to run half my 1000 kwhs per months on a simple solar system. If you look at the comments on this video ua-cam.com/video/bE2V8Mva9Hc/v-deo.html and look for Cherokee man he has a huge amount of information on his $750 Harbor Freight system. Took my 5 or 6 screenshots to copy it all. It's excellent and I'm sure you could understand it way better than I :)
I have the same laminator but the laminator won’t turn on after plugging it in and pressing the power button.

Hi, is the a way to clean the roller in the laminator. My mini dodocool laminator got paint on the roller.
Some paint thinner and something thin to get it in between. Or you'd have to take it all apart.

Yes! You saved me from having to fess up to my boss that I killed the laminator! Such a quick fix! Definitely thought I'd have to take it apart or buy a new one.

Motor broke. Gears broke. Not so easy. You'd have to open it up.

Hi, lovely vid thx, I've inserted paper pouch from the back as it's on your laminator but it turned out it had to be inserted from the front, now its jammed and I can't bring it out 😭
Might have to take it apart and pull it out.
@@BeatTheBushDIY hey, thx for your reply 🙂 did actually open it up and apparently I destroyed the motor, after cleaning turned it on and it just smoked up and died, can't believe I messed it up on the first try. Why did I have to buy the most expensive version lol lesson learned 🤠
we ordered laminator then we try it is working but suddenly I try it again it is overheating and the heater lamp got broke.. I dont know what to do now please help me
Overheat... sounds like maybe something got shorted or the temp regulator broke so it just turned on the heater without regulating it.
Mine Scotch laminator has been used twice but now won't turn on. Any suggestions? :(
Not turning on doesn't really help with isolating the issue.

Something in the path of the stuff.
I've had that happen, too. Sometimes I can fix it by taking the laminated page while it is still warm and folding over the curled parts by hand. You could also try putting the warm page/pouch under something heavy like a book to try and minimize the curling - but do it immediately before it cools. Not sure if this answers your question, but it has helped me a few times.
My rollers are sticky I cannot remove the casing.
Sticky hmmm. Might have melted something together.
Kan iemand my help, ek het 'n laminator wat deur 'n scotch gemaak word En toe ek die laminaatblad wou slaag, het dit vasgesteek in die buise wat die demontage draai, en ek het dit gemonteer nadat ek die vasgeplakte plastiek verwyder het, en probeer nou om nog 'n laminaatblad in te plaas en dit gaan voort om dieselfde te doen, kan u my help? ?
Mine works for 3 pages and then it snags and gathers on the right side. So hopefully it doesn’t have that issue
Something is stuck or the blade is not sharp enough so that things keeps on getting stuck.
I melted a peice of plastic in mine that wasnt for the machine. Hope i can fix it lol

Hayzzz. I ordered 11.11 from lazada. They send me defective laminating machine. I ordered with free laminating film and they did not add the freebies. No wonder they never send the freebies laminating film because the laminating machine itself didnt work. THayzzz sadddddd

You should remove the paper first.
oh I gave it to my uncle and then he said it got rolled up in the rollers and melted and got onto the laminater
And I used it the correct way because I used like 10 times before just fine except now
