- I tried to do research beforehand about the capital of Belize to know if there is something to see. I didn't find anything, so I decided to go and visit Belmopan myself and see if there really isn't anything to see in the center.
My good man, the eiffel tower comment has just cemented your place in Belize's Social Media meme landscape. Some heroes don't wear capes, they hitchhike with a camera. That was hilarious, I enjoyed the video, it was honest, and wherever you found things you enjoyed you did not hesitate to be honest about your enthusiasm. You're quite right about the food. As a Belizean living in Belmopan I will say its more of a chill laid back almost family like area but there's cafes, pools the market but nothing compared to the other districts. So it could be boring to visit. There are things to do but it happens like at different times during the year like September when leading to our independence we have parades. We have the agricultural show and different concerts. There is Guanacaste National Park that you can tour though by the roundabout. The vibe is just not hectic in anyway and more slow family based activities. There are beautiful places in the area but I know your video is specific to Belmopan and not the surrounding area so all points make sense. Cool video I hope you enjoyed the country on a whole.

@@anonymoustaiwan5632 Hi! I believe someone from Belize can give you more detailed answer. But as far as I know, most of the areas in Belize are fairly safe. The high murder rate is mostly due to the areas in southern parts of Belize City, where a lot of gangs live. Anywhere else it's much safer.
Lol Belmopan is the most boring capital in Central America but this is his 4th most popular vlog. When you visit a low income country, coming from a more robust economy, its is so disrespectful to be both cheap and offensive. You want to get so much from our country and not willing to spend and support our people and economy, best you stay in Europe, no lost for us.
U have to understand what is Belmopan it was not so much comercial in mind it was more a safe zone from hurricane etc

Belmopan was design as a family oriented and working community most of the government business is done in Belmopan.

Lol you can't expect to have a good experience if you are so cheap. The guy walked 5k because he didn't want to pay for a cab and stayed in the cheapest hostel lol..not even Belizeans stay in hostels..

I live and work in Belmopan and love it just like it is. Family friendly. We don't all need hustle and bustle.
My family and I live in Belmopan. I enjoy it for it’s safety and it’s a central hub to other towns in Belize. There are nightclubs, pools, a resort, nursery, restaurants, carnival, night markets, ect. It stays dry when everyone else floods. There’s perks to living here. Welcome.
This is such a troll video. We have the 2nd largest barrier reef system, the Great Blue Hole, Mayan temples, amazing caves, waterfalls, beaches, islands/cayes, wildlife, diverse cultures, landscapes and cuisine. Belmopan is just a sleepy administrative capital. Do more research next time.

@@LittleshamelessViking I did. Even Belmopan has a lot to see right in it's immediate vicinity. ATM Cave, Barton Creek Cave, Ayala's Natural Pools, the Sleeping Giant viewpoint, St. Herman's Cave, etc... do better research next time
Like I said in the video, it's about the city center of Belmopan, not about day trips outside the city

How much was the hostel in Belize city and what was the name of the hostel ???
The name of the hostel is The Red Hut Inn. I paid 18$/night for it. Still quite high for my normal budget but unfortunately Belize is pretty expensive country. Seems that they have now increased the price to 28$ but it's still the cheapest in the city.

Lots to do in Belmopan family wise. Partying and cool spots to go to? nah. But we have, Expos(Multiple ones throughout the year) and National Agricultural Show Grounds. Rodeos. You just came at the wrong time. Market Days are Tues/Friday
