5:00 If you start seeing charges 7 months after a totally unrelated purchase for something you don't even remember doing to trigger a charge, all alarm bells for fraud should be blaring. Don't bother calling the people charging you - call the bank and report it first. The comment the last service rep made about this being about Finish Line basically tells me that they must have had a data breach if other customers are complaining about similar issues.
T-mobile, I had issues with my phone that either connect anyone who called me to an old lady somewhere else or says that my number has been disconnected. I tried calling them and try going to their store multiple times to fix the problem but it never got fix. So, when I tried to leave they said "Oh it is the sim card that is the issue please let us fix it." I never went back to them.
All manufacturer's vehicle warranties should be required by law to be at least twice the expected lifetime of the vehicle as measured by actual everyday usage.
No, they shouldn’t. That’s anextremely unreasonable amount of time. The standard 3-5yrs/80-100k is very reasonable. Most major issues that would be warranty work or manufacturer defects will show themselves around the 50k mile mark.
Toyota is the best manufacturer for recalls by far. They had recalls for the Tacoma frame. That's 4280 hours of labor and an entire new frame and accompanying parts all of their own volition. All manufacturers have problems in some of their vehicles, but none of them stand behind their vehicles like Toyota does.
For the finish line story, how did they get your BANK INFO WHEN YOU USED A GIFT CARD! yeah you signed up for coupons with your name an address or email but how did they get your BANK INFO ?!
The OP did say "address and everything" so that bit was a little vague. But you might be surprised with how much you can find out about someone with the right info.
I agree on Klondike bars being great. I like to just put them in a bowl and eat them with a spoon. It's like ice cream with that magic shell syrup that hardens on the ice cream, but the ratio of shell to ice cream is always consistent, and I don't have to keep track of two separate products.
At&T, they are always gonna come up with some random thing to increase your bill. I had internet and phone plan that was always increasing it starts with a few cents, but they increase it all the way that is almost unaffordable, and if you cancel, the fee is gonna be high At&t is a bigger sucker than a swarm of mosquitoes
Regarding story 9, that persons first mistake was going to Subway and expecting both decent service and something edible. Subway is trash. Here in Canada we’re lucky enough to have an alternative option for sub shops. It’s called Mr. Sub and while quality can vary between locations, much like anything, it’s generally good. Years ago I frequently used to go to the location around the corner from where I live and get a meatball sub on my way home from school. The sandwiches were always amazing and the guys who worked there were always pleasant and professional. Sadly that location has since been replaced by a Tim Hortons. While I quite like Tim Hortons and the location is convenient, I miss having a sub shop right around the corner from where I live. I also miss the guys who worked there, they were cool. I’m sure there are other options for subs in the US too, even if Subway is the most prevalent. I’d even choose Firehouse Subs over Subway. Nothing against Firehouse, the quality is good, they’re just a little pricey compared to Mr. Sub. Plus, there are still a couple Mr. Sub locations close enough to me that going there isn’t really an issue.
As far as Story 1 goes, I don't mind being in a Toyota as long as it's not a modern-day Camry. I almost died in a car crash last time I was in one of the later designs of that model. Safest one I've been in was one from the nineties with manual transmission (it was covered in rust spots and parts of the paint is discolored because of the car's age). Not only that but I resent Microsoft severely for similar but completely unrelated reasons (crappy, questionable software design choices instead of dangerously bad quality cars)
Apple. I got a Mac book. It sucked. Parts broke often. A spring broke and they want 100 to get that fix. A frame was on recall. And the replacement broken a few days later. But what really did it was they gave me someone's computer and told me if I didn't return it with in the hour they'll call the cops on me. When I finally got it back. The wifi wasn't working. They told me it will be 3 days to get it back. Despite it being there mistake. So apple can suck a lemon for all I care
Story 1 but with Chevy. Got a new trax in 2018. It’s been a money pit since 3 months old. In the last year I’ve put $5,000 into it. Oh the miles? 55k. Some things that have happened my dealer just said to bad.
Nestle products. I saw the documentary Bottled Life several years ago and I haven't bought a Nestle product since. Whenever we spot a new, interesting product, we make sure to check it isn't a Nestle product. Ain't no Nestle product making it into our cart.
SONY, from the latest Helldiver 2, to the faulty electronics over the years, to the laughable library of games for the new Play Station, to how they treated certain artist under there music publishing label. F SONY and everyone defending them. I wish that toxic company would go under.
6:50 2nd and Charles did this to me! They signed me up for Rolling Stone, Newsweek, Time and National Geographic against my will. I stopped charges a year ago and had to have my bank block the companies. They STILL try to charge me. I still get freaking Rolling Stone in the mail and its like ripping off a scab every time it’s stuffed in my mail slot.
Dude, I had a used Toyota Camry. 1997. I used it pretty regularly for 8 years before having to give it up because of a problem that would be too expensive to fix to be worth it. And even then, from the story here, I feel compelled never to buy a Toyota. They could've fixed that issue with a few thousand dollars. How many millions in profits went to the executive bonuses last year? Toyota can spare a few _thousand_ for _their_ mistake!
11:09 Don't bother with just the donut holes...gas station food is altogether notoriously dangerous if it isn't freshly made. It's also worth checking into what types of food establishments get the most safety violations, and from what I usually see, the gas station delis are some of the worst offenders.
Ally bank. I've been trying for 3 months to get a copy of my title. I'm now driving around on an expired tag from a different state. Everytime I call or email to request it, there is never any indication that it'll be a problem. Idk if the COT is being sent, where it is being sent, or even if they HAVE it. Haven't had any major issues with them until I had to ask for something in exchange for my many consistent years of car payments. 😅 Go figure.
He has a gift card to FinishLine and at the end you said “if you don’t care about sports why stop at finishline?” What the fuck are you talking about? He said wanted some shoes.
lol story 1 can happen to anyone from any car company, the fact is that Toyota is one of the most reliable cars haha the fact he made his GF get rid of hers was savage lol.
toyota everything they make past 2007 is a DEATH TRAP. we had one of there minivans it was brand new that thing nearly killed each of my family members through multiple incidents. the backdoor and the side door censors being the biggest culprits, and the transmission was also just the worst payed like 50 grand for it ended up paying more in repairs than it was worth.
I'll never purchase games at GameStop and subscribe to their shitty Power Up Rewards membership card. You save points just to redeem some of their useless, unsold crap! Also, you don't save money from purchases. They tend to rip you off more! Along time ago, I purchased 'Mario Party: Island Tour' during its day-one release. I ended up despising the game, so I went back to GameStop the next day just to get my full refund. GameStop told me that the game was already used, and I could only trade it in for their $5 in-store credit, even though I paid $45 full price yesterday. I showed them my receipt, and they've denied it. They're so infuriating, and I'm glad they're going out of business. 😒 GameStop used to be cool back in the early 2000s.
Story one. Never buy the first new cars off the line lol

Home warranty is useless. So many headaches and additional costs. The purpose of it was to avoid headaches and extra costs
All manufacturer's vehicle warranties should be required by law to be at least twice the expected lifetime of the vehicle as measured by actual everyday usage.
I own a 1997 hilux dule cab diesel 2inch lift and love it

You, sir or madam, are the unsung hero of all these comments
That Toyota one is an easy win for a lawyer. Take that $3k for the transmission and get s lawyer.

Glass pants. They made my butt look big, but VERY uncomfortable

Story 1 that's why you don't buy a car made after 1994, too many computers.
15:26 I don't understand why Monster is still around . It literally tastes horrid to me.

I won’t go back to other cell companies. Consumer Cellular is cheap and I like their customer service.
You got 10,000 miles out of used tires, and you're complaining?
game?
Who is the ISP the OP is referring to in story 7?
I am never going to buy another rig headset ever again. It cheaply made. Breaks to easy.
