This song is amazing. I can relate to this song because I have had haunting experiences while I lived alone. You 'could' sleep, but you don't because you are being haunted. Which leads to the question, "Is there a ghost in my house?" I also love how the song implies he no longer lives alone and is thus no longer being troubled, and that maybe lonliness is the true haunter afterall. I love Band of Horses. Traditional country western wails of pain filtered through a grunge band. Quite beautiful.
