Everything about you Rich just screams quality. Your humour, attention to detail, client satisfaction and above all your standard of finish. I wouldn’t be surprised that you are in extreme demand. If there is anyone better than you out there they will be few and far between. Top stuff again Rich.
Very kind words thank you. Is that you Dad😂👍🏻
Love to see quality workmanship! And those that bodge thing's, need to watch how easy you tackle every job! Keep up the amazing work.
I think the detail of pushing the island end panel out to hide the socket cables looked spot on. Something I will do myself in future as I've never really liked trunking.
Great video. I was puzzled by padding out the end panels until I saw the sockets, good solution for that. Much better music than recently ;).
Excellent description with the doors Rich , perfection as always 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Pleasure to watch a craftsman working. Really nice job
That is one gorgeous kitchen. Great work as always.
Them end panels that end up in the middle of some units or between an appliance and a cupboard, I just split in two. No need to scribe, allows space for pipes and ventilation for and saves on the panel. Fantastic work keep it up 👍
Attention to detail makes for a first class finish 👌 👏🏻 if I were the customer, I'd be one happy bunny.
Man you’ve got patience. I stubbornly insisted on installing my own kitchen a few years ago, all pre drilled but still drove me nuts . If I’d had to measure and drill every single drawer hole I’d have lost it. Difference between a pro and an amateur. Great channel, always watch every vid.
I don’t have any patience for anything other than work 😂👍🏻
Brilliant video, brilliant job.
The kitchen looks great. The whole job is a credit to your skill and professionalism and the rest of the team as well. Totally beats Strictly etc! as entertainment and school as education.
That was fun ,looking forward to seeing the outside finished .
great series pal. Quality build as usual
Great job, nice to see a true craftsman at work.
Another great video 👍 Epic final push finishing off and still with all the usual attention to the details. Great job bt all involved
Rich in his natural environment....a kitchen fit! superb work as always
Good video to watch with cuppa....crafts man at work...👍👍
Another masterclass. I've always wondered the right way to measure for drawer fronts when they are not going onto whole boxes. That's great info!
another great fitted kitchen, love watching you work. have a great christmas.
Brilliant video as always thank you for great content
I use pretty much the same method when cutting scribes, but I find it easier if you set your track saw to a 10/15 degree angle as it leaves a lot less material for the planer to cope with?
BTW, the new Milwaukee M12 planer is great for this 👌🏻
Another cracking job that Rich, well done fella.
Cracking job Richard. You must be proud of that lot. Great jigs by the way 👍👍👍
Yes I am very pleased with it. Thanks mate 👍🏻
Nice one, Rich. Quality job your scribe work is spot on.
Quality as always Rich. Looking forward to the progress on the bungalow build. Keep the vids coming. Cheers 🍻
Fantastic kitchen fit Rich. I was impressed with the handle jig, it makes things a lot easier and faster 🙂👍
If it’s something you do even 2-3 times a year like me it’s well worth a purchase. 👍🏻
Well done, again. Cheers, Phil
Love the detail in the finishing of the kitchen. Quality craftsmanship as always. Another great job & happy customer no doubt. Looking forward to seeing the update from the bungalow build and what comes next 👍🏻
Enjoy watching you add the little details that make all the difference ❤😊
I love how passionate you are rich with your work such a talented person need more tradesmen like you
Fantastic job❤🎄🎄🎄
Love watching you your a real craftsman and I’ve picked up some great tips
Amazing work...def subscribed...good to see real caring pro trades...
It would definitely be good to see the final result with all the worktops in and flooring down. Looking forward to it. Great work lads.
Amazing video rich, the part that you need for your tripod is simply a quick release plate clamp 😊
Nice job rich kitchen looks great 👍
Brilliant stuff once again Rich. Music was spot on too. After the video title I did expect to hear "thunder" track though !!
I think my decision to never, EVER to construct and install my own kitchens over the years was the correct one. My God, you really nailed this one old bean....
Hi guys love ur videos been watching since the start don’t get often chance to comment, but the thing you’re looking for is a tripod quick release plate. Screw adapter meant to put that into Amazon or eBay they come up and then obviously it’s different sizes. You measure the bottom where it clicks in to a tripod I bought a couple recently for £5.99 very cheap good quality.
Thank you 👍🏻
Overall, I think you made a really tidy job and the design itself looks good. It will be great to see the update once the worktops are on. The flooring firm was spot on on the last job so I have no doubt the floor will look great.
I couldn't see the join in the double end panels so I rekon you got this spot on.
Nice choice of kitchen and a great fitter! 👌
That kitchen is beautiful 👍🏻 amazing job putting it together 👌🏻🙏🏼
Great tip on the Margin marker thanks. I have a kitchen to fit in the new year so have ordered one.
Great Job as always! I've worked with a couple of proper carpenters over the years and like them you make it look easy! I know for a fact it isn't!
I agree quality from start to finish! Is there anything he’s not good at!!
Great to know we can see it again when the work tops go on.
With you saying you had meetings to attend last week, I hope that means these are jobs to start after Christmas. 2025!
What a TEAM this company is.
2025 is looking good for us. We have been very lucky 👍🏻
Always informative and a pleasure to see the quality work, would love too see the end project once all render and outside lights are all on
If the customer agrees of course as its a lovely house credit to the owners.
I’m sure we could sort something out when the time comes 👍🏻
great job looking stunning
Fantastic video Rich
Great kitchen installation video Rich, all the end panels that you used I was surprised to see how much extra material in height they allow. Do they have taller larder cupboards possibly ? Most other kitchen companies I have ever fitted units from it is normal practice that the panel will be the height and width of the cupboard plus the allowance for the door thickness, which when fitting them against walls that aren't plumb leaves ugly gaps. Happy Christmas and New Year if we don't see you before.👍👍👍
Another reason why I use the company I do. The base ends are 650mm deep and 900mm tall and the tall panels are 650mm x 2400mm. They all come from the door manufacturer so they are colour matched to the door choice. I agree as I’ve had to fit a wall cupboard panel that was only 300mm deep meaning it couldn’t be scribed or go to the face of the door which looks 💯 better 👍🏻
Great work Richard.
Did you have to put worktop brackets in the corner of the kitchen, too?
Looks like another job well done, and I'm sure that both you and the customer will be delighted to have it over the line before the year is out. I guess the same can't be said for the bungalow job, but that's just how it goes sometimes!
Really appreciate the mix of live footage and timelapse, the quality of your filming and editing, and the choice of music here.
Cant wait to get cracking on my own house building project next year (sadly about 100 miles from your patch!) but I need to finish a couple of big (for me on my own) electrical jobs elsewhere as my new year priority
Looking forward to this one
Great video, really enjoyed it. Your mix of talking/time lapse/music is, in my opinion, just right. I've watched videos that are all time lapse and music with no talking and to be honest they are hard work to watch.
Actually nice to see a good kitchen fitter on youtube. What was the reasoning behind not continuing adding extra height on the end panels to remove the need to mitre the cornice in the utility room though?
Tell ya what rich you have a wealth of knowledge, expertise and some amazing skills and I reckon Adam is extremely lucky to have you and matt on his team
Brill video as usual!!! What your looking for to put on the camera tripod is called a Quick Release Plate Clamp, Plastic Tripod Adapter Plate Universal Quick Release Plate 1/4 Screw Thread !!! Amazon is where i saw this description!!!!!
Looking good, just hoping we see the finished product for the basement build
It’s coming mate 👍🏻
Superb work. Scribing the panel in the corner which will never be seen shows the mark of a tradesman taking supreme pride in his work!
What do you call the blue guide you used for drilling your angled screw holes please?
It’s a pocket hole jig. The one I use is old now. You can get a lot of really posh ones now but I like it cos it’s easily stored and used as you saw. 👍🏻
Thank you!
Excellent video Rich, you are a top craftsman. Couple of questions: What pilot/countersink bit were you using? Secondly, not sure if you can answer this, but the feature on your tracksaw to set the scribe cut quickly , is this available on the Festool model?
Really looking forward to seeing the finished kitchen, but sorry this series has come to an end.
I’m not sure if it’s on the Festool track saw but seeing as they are the best track saw on the market I’d be surprised if it wasn’t.
The counter sink bits were trend. I’ve tried other cheaper brands but they don’t stay sharp long enough. 👍🏻
great vid
Bellissimo 👌🏻👊🏻
Lovely kitchen and very well fitted Rich! Some great little touches such as the space left for sockets on the island. If I was the customer, I’d be delighted. One question, what was the rail that you fitted towards the end of the video? It’ll be nice to see the finished kitchen when the worktops are done. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks Rich. 👍🏼
The rail was for the customers to hang things on like shirts etc when they are being ironed 👍🏻
@ Thank you!
very well done ! few questions: when I bought kitchen(s) from Nobilia the planner always made me position alls the handles before hand so they came predrilled, as well as all the drawers came predrilled. Do you never see that over there ?
And very strangely but this may be just because of the order of constructions: why not put the floor in first?
Cheers
I’m sure you can get some kitchen companies over here do all the handles etc but I’d rather do it myself. If we waited for the floor to go in first we wouldn’t be fitting the kitchen for another few weeks. The liquid screed over the top of the under floor heating takes a long time to dry to a point where flooring can go down because of the moisture content. 👍🏻
@@Mr_A_Builders Thanks, I thought so about the floor.
Oohhhhh yes 1 hour long 🙏🏼👌🏻👍🏻🤣
What hammer are you using , it looks nice 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The tripod gadget is a quick release tripod plate. With 1/4 inch screw. Bit late but couldn't see it answered.
What a craftsman, to me that would be a 2man job lol. perfect explanation thanks..
Evening Richard. Great clip as always. Looks a good quality kitchen, what make is it please.
All the best
Sean
I’ve been using the same company for over 20 years. I’ve put the link in the description Sean but it’s Chase Bedrooms and Kitchens. 👍🏻
Thanks 👍
When you back? Please save me, I am having to watch Downton Abbey repeeats!
Oh good lord! I'm so sorry!!! We're back very very soon...if you check out our community page you'll be able to work out when!
I like these, its surprising what you can pick up and avoid expensive mistakes. How do you allow for the lack of finished floor covering which no doubt differs from job to job?
Flooring gets done once the moisture content in the liquid screed gets to the correct level. Another couple of weeks more than likely. 👍🏻
@@Mr_A_Builders Apologies, I was referring to setting cabinet heights to accommodate plinths, especially with say space for free standing appliances to consider too?
We know what flooring we are having so I had an idea of finished floor height and I always allow 10mm higher on my cabinets anyway. 👍🏻
Lovely Job Rich! Have you and Adam got any big jobs coming up together in the new year?
Yes Andrew we have indeed mate and you’ll be with us to see it hopefully. 👍🏻
@Mr_A_Builders I will forward to it! 👍 Thank-you
Great vid just in the process of buying a new kitchen and this one looks the same just out of interest what colour is it and make if possible
Can’t remember the colour but the link to the company is in the description 👍🏻
those adapters for your camera are called camera quick release plates
A lot of work since last time 😮
Just had my kiychen fittef
Hope it all went well for you 👍🏻
Richie, the overspray on that floor is naughty!
Why?
@@Mr_A_Builders It's unprofessional! It smacks of laziness in masking up
What it shows isn’t laziness it’s me not wasting my time covering something that in a few weeks time is going to taken up, latexed and covered with a new floor.
@@Doggonewest Get a life mate
The plate is called an arca swiss quick release plate.
How's the Boiler engineer going to get the front off the boiler to service it? Doesn't look to be enough space below the boiler to get the screwdriver in.
It’s all in hand Steve. Believe it or not I do think about these things in advance 👍🏻
Can you please tell me what holds your track down
It’s got non slip pads on the bottom. I have got track clamps but I’m only cutting 18mm panels so no need. ‘In my opinion’
Thanks
Pretty sure they're called Arca Swiss quick release plates.
Rich that would a Quick Release Plate
One of the biggest issues with the type of sink fitted,[due to the design, weight, overflow position etc].is that the tap[s] has/have to be fitted/secured to the worktop prior to positioning,..fine..however if,for any reason the tap,or tails etc. need replacing, and the sink has been sealed to the underside of the top,it is virtually impossible to access the tap mounting hardware,as well as[under normal conditions] the chance to check for any leaks from the tap body etc.prior to closing it in....
4:10 Overspray from the walls all over the floor, so little extra work to use dust sheets and avoid this.
What’s your reasoning for that??
It would matter if it wasn’t all coming up and being latexed prior to new flooring in a month. Not sure how many times in previous episodes and this one I’ve mentioned new flooring. Sometimes Paul your comments are pointless
@@paulf2529 Amazing that somebody can watch the video hoping to find something to pick at and time stamp rather than appreciate the quality of work and efficiency used throughout.✊🏻💦

@@Mr_A_Builders This fella clearly has never been on a big job, imagine if he went in a house on a new build site, he would have a meltdown. Spray covers the whole floor in every room.😂
I’m gona miss that house and extension 😢
Me to Kevin but there’s plenty more where that came from stay tuned 👍🏻
@ can’t wait 😜 what’s next
JusW was you fitting it what a crafts, amt had mine don
Great job, looks like you've done this before 😊. Over my years I've seen some bloody awful kitchen installations.
Where did you get the great music from..
It all comes from our subscription to Epidemic which is all royalty free 👍🏻
That looks like a plastic arca-Swiss style camera mount that came with your tripod. Whether it’s actually compatible with the arca-Swiss standard you’ll have to see, it might be slightly different, but you can buy an arca-Swiss plate for not much to try and see. If your tripod doesn’t fit it, or you want an all aluminium version, you can buy an arca-Swiss clamp and a couple of extra plates for under 20 quid total on Amazon that’ll screw onto that 1/4” or 3/8” screw on your tripod, so you can interchange your cameras more easily like you want. Love your channel and hope this is helpful. Tony
That’s really helpful Tony I appreciate you taking the time to comment 👍🏻
Tripod quick release plate.
Those camera mounts for tripod are a nightmare to find. I lost one and couldn't find the right size anywhere. End up buying another cheap tripod!
why cutting twice with the red tracksaw ?
First cut will be a shallow ‘scoring’ cut to reduce the chance chipping the edge when cutting melamine boards 👍
I’m using the score function to do what has been explained by Jonathan 👍🏻
Camera hot shoe I believe.
Little tip, take a photo of something and google lense it to find out what its called.
Can't you do that then tell us?
@@Mr_A_BuildersLooks like it's a quick release plate for tripod.
@@Mr_A_BuildersIf you are on android, you can take pic, go into gallery and click on the little eye icon and choose discover. Or type Google lens in Google and upload pic.

Excellent. Please do just that and tell us what it's called.
The time lapse music needs some thrash metal!
😂
THe comments habve gine mad , make no sense
57:26 a horrible mix of white and black pvc pipe and fittings under the sink.
Hi Paul. Can I set you a nice challenge? In the next video, instead of picking holes and time stamping ‘issues’ you have with the work, time stamp and comment on three different things you like or think were done well.
It’ll still get you the engagement you obviously want, but will be positive and shared with others that agree. I’m sure it will bring you more pleasure than the constant, and normally misplaced, sniping.
As a kitchen fitter myself I can tell just looking how clean and tidy his workspace is that this guy is as good as anyone I’ve ever seen at fitting kitchens. It certainly is not crash bang wallop. There’s thought and consideration in everything he does.
