    It's refreshing to see Indian news highlighting Black American excellence in STEM fields. In the US media, the focus often leans towards entertainment news, particularly in music and sports. This positive coverage is a welcome reminder of the vast contributions Black Americans make across all disciplines. One Love

    What was so notable that most people do not report is that they did not work together. They worked separately on the proof. They submitted their individual proofs and got awards.

    You can use the Law of Sines with ANY and ALL proofs of the Pythagorean Theorems.
    Sine = Opposite/hypotenuse.
    Law of Sines: a/sin(a) = b/sin(b) = c/sin(c)
    For any Right triangle:
    a/sin(a) = a/(a/c) = c
    b/sin(b) = b/(b/c) = c
    c/sin(c) = c/(c/c) = c
    For any Right triangle: a/sin(a) = b/sin(b) = c/sin(c) = c
    Which means for any Right Triangle: (a/sin(a))^2 = (b/sin(b))^2 = (c/sin(c))^2 = c^2
    THEREFORE for any right triangle: a^2 + b^2 = (a/sin(a))^2 = (b/sin(b))^2 = (c/sin(c))^2 = c^2

      Jackson's proof is literally an exact copy of a proof fron 1896 by B. F. Yanney and J. A. Calderhead which can be found at cut-the-knot pythagoras proof 60.
      Johnson's proof is a geometric series that can be found in many Calculus books. She just added a triangle to an infinite geometric series that was already a proof of the Pythagorean theorem. Even if you did accept it as a "new" proof, which it isn't, it's not a trigonometric proof. It would be a geometric and a calculus proof.

      @@Ondaloose1 😂🤣😂 you just exposed your ignorance. The so-called "Pythagoras" theorem is all over the monuments in kemet which can only mean they knew it to be able to use it. This is common sense dude. And you current "Egyptians" are Turkic/Slavic invaders of about 1500 years ago and you found everything in place and all you have done is destroy it. You have added absolutely nothing to the greatest African civilization that the rest of the world copied

    This is so clickbaity that it's hilarious. In no way is the Pythagorean theorem 'unsolved for 2000 ways'; on the contrary, it is the theorem with the highest number of proofs. The proof using trigonometry is neat, but nothing miraculous.
