- Schaffhausen is an amazing town in the north of Switzerland situated on the beautiful river Rhine and not far from the famous Rhine Falls. The sights of Schaffhausen are the beautiful buildings with their facade paintings and 171 oriels. The landmark of this city is the imposing Munot fortress above the town.
The monastery complex at All Saints is considered the largest Romanesque sacred building in Switzerland. The monastery also has the largest cloister in Switzerland with its own herb garden.
The river Rhine invites you to take a boat trip to Kreuzlingen or the beautiful medieval town of Stein am Rhein with its frescoes and painted houses.
