On EA Discord server the community manager was still insisting the anti-cheat does work and that it reduced the cheating while I haven't heard any real announcements on Answers HQ besides EA_Shepard trying to pass feedback through without much success.

So rn the pvz shooter games are on a blink of extinction rn.
Contents are running more dryer then ever.
Like the only contents are toxicity videos,1v1 videos and game breaking Glitches that could destroy the server itself.
Like damn I feel pity for the pvz community...........They need to change and improved and update themselves if they want to survive an oncoming storm.
Because I honestly don't think they can survive another 5 or 10 years later on.

As far as the future goes, I’d say this is special, the potential for new content and the ability for new game modes, more players in lobbies, specific modded lobbies - I’d say this is a pretty special future compared to what most games get 😁

I started playing again after almost 5-6 years on PC and I cant find a single match without modders and cheaters. The servers also give me 'unable to join session' most of the time. Sad what the game has come to.

This has gotta inspire ea to do something about this situation it will show their fans are going as far as to paying their own money for servers showing ea people still do care about the game.
Also forgot to point out i hope this mod doesnt come out too soon cause im not sure how it works but im pretty sure the player numbers aren't gonna be displayed so ea might lose money with players not playing the official game.
