In my opinion, this was clearly set up. Abby wouldn't have allowed William to show her his solo while Pressley was learning hers. Plus, you never saw them both on screen at the same time, so Pressley was probably taking a break. Just my opinion though.

right so, i think william went in at the end of hannah’s rehearsal (since she can be seen in one of the clips) before pressley even started her solo practise. (they aren’t seen in the same shot together) the mothers never mentioned it being in the ‘middle of rehearsal’ they just said it was using up pressleys time. (this could easily be at the beginning of practise) and it was probably the producers idea to send william in. also pressley is a nice girl so she would get out of the way if someone else was dancing but in some of the shots you can see pressley sitting down in the middle of the studio and then william dancing in the exact same spot (pressley would have moved if william was there) just what i spotted but feel free to add more 😊😊😊
