Sir can we build muscle on a low protein diet I mean as a student I can only afford only one gram per kg of body weight!?? And with all vegetarian sources like pulses, rajma , lentils.. so can I build decent amount of muscles !??
1 gram protein for 1kg weight is sufficient. To be honest I use a bit less and its good enough for me.
Keep up the good work, don't worry about protein quantity but focus on good quality whole foods like you said. It's sustainable. Patience is the key.
With patience and consistency, your muscle will mature and will look more defined. Low protein diet may or may not give you big muscles but consistency to good diet amd workout will definitely start giving you defined and toned body shape
With less protein intake the results will be slow but it's enough until you're consistent with that.

Are you sure you gained too much muscle
I think you are already to bulky and you gain muscle on bulky body
If it is the case start cutting
I think you should just go in a calorie deficit. Before running into a conclusion that you just gained so much muscle please take a look in bodyfat percentage too madam.
