A true class act who did his research on his guests, let them do their thing, and didn't try to be cute at every opportunity (like Jimmy Fallon). Jay Leno? Forget about it. And I bet another half of you didn’t know his real name. This video has 3.4 million views. I think there has been plenty of tribute. And I don’t think it’s the media clickbaiting using Chewbacca. It’s a household name. It’s Star Wars. It’s jimmy Fallon. I think they’re both doing just fine without having to worry about a stupid UA-cam title. Just like “actor who plays rd-d2” passes away. When they talk about Peter Mayhew you can see how his manner, his attitude and even his voice changes. He was obviously very deeply moved 🙁

@@ovoxomcful im talking about the title. If they would have put his name it would have atttracted less views but since they used "chewbacca actor" people will feel inclined to click on the video

Having the name Chewbacca in the title will teach more people the actor's name than if it was his actual name cause then no one would click. It's self-justifying imo.

The way Ford's face is beaming at 2:30 at his nostalgia... can anyone imagine being THE Harrison Ford of Star Wars? Your whole life is people admiring a character you played 40+ years ago and STILL LOVING IT. His legacy was/is defined by that still to this day.

I met Peter Mayhew a few years back at a con in Scotland. He was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, a genuine soul. I was devastated when I heard he’d passed. I can understand why Harrison is so shaken
