YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK 🏞️ Itinerary for your first day! This is a great way to get introduced to the park and take it easy before hitting the more intense hikes later on in your trip. 1. Get up early to watch the sunrise at Tunnel View. The iconic view of Yosemite Valley is the perfect way to start the day. Totally worth the 4am wake up call 😅 2. Drive through the valley floor. Just simply driving or taking the shuttle through the valley will give you the most beautiful views. Yosemite is huge, so this is a great way to get your bearings. 3. Pull over to take in the views. As you’re driving through the valley, you will notice multiple pull offs on the side of the road. Pull over at ANY of them for a stunning photo op. Waterfall views galore! 4. Walk the Lower Yosemite Falls Trail. This is such a perfect introductory hike for this park. It’s only a mile and flat + paved for the most part. Not to mention, GORGEOUS. 5. Play in the waterfall mist. The Lower Yosemite Falls Trail leads right to the base of the fall and you can walk a bridge that goes right across. This is a really fun place to take photos. 6. Go see El Cap up close. El Capitan is larger than life, you really have to see it in person because photos do not do it’s epicness justice! 7. Have a picnic at El Capitan Meadow. We packed a lunch and got to enjoy it in the meadow with views of El Cap. One of the prettiest places we’ve ever had lunch!
How long did it take to get into the park? I’ve been reading it took 4-5 hours for a weekend in June… trying to go Labor Day but that’s scaring me off…
@@johnyoung823I can tell u, we went the Friday before Memorial Day and we left from Fresno around 5 am and took a little maybe little over 2 hours and we were co I g thru the tunnel about 7:30. Weather was cool but great. Got more crowded later in day but breezed thru fairly early.
I always remember an old work colleague, who was very excited having booked a holiday to the US of A, telling me that one of the highlights of the trip would be going to the Yossy-myte park. 😂😂😂
Everything about Yosemite is magical. Glad you shared your adventure for the world to see.
So delightful!! Looks like you had the best time frolicking in heaven on earth!!

Did you guys go on any of the hikes outside of the valley?
I’m going to Yosemite in August 31 2023
what is the best month to go there?
Nice! About how much time did you take to hit up these spots?
Are there any restrooms near Tunnelview?
I went there today
How was it? Was it crowded? Is there a reservation, or do you have to go like before 5am?
how are the falls during the summer?
So basically drive around from viewpoint to viewpoint and eat food. Sounds like a first day in Yosemite for the large and in charge.
