I remember months ago I went to this little nail salon that only had one older Chinese lady working there, and during my pedicure I complained about my back and shoulder hurting from work. The second she finished my pedicure she sat me down on a stool, had me take off my shirt, and did some gua sha on my shoulder and back with a coin covered in wood lock oil- completely for free. I tipped her really well for helping me out and sharing her culture with me. She really went in and it was pretty sore for the first day or so, but after the initial soreness went way- my back didn’t hurt for WEEKS! It was amazing. I want to go back but the nail salon is really far from my house, maybe I’ll make a trip over there here soon

This lady is specifically trained in tuina, Chinese therapeutic massage and she is absolutely doing whole body massage accurately. It takes a LOT of energy from the practitioner, is VERY tiring, hence I rarely did whole body massage only specific techniques for release of pain/blockages. She is indeed doing a PERFECT job.

28 dollars for 60 minutes is a bargain especially as she’s a master of her craft. I like the fact she uses firm pressure. You wouldn’t get a massage in London for that price. It’s like £60 per hour as a minimum here which is so expensive I don’t get a massage very often. The last massage I had wasn’t that good either as she was too gentle for my tastes.

£60 per hour isn't expensive, it's justified due to the expertise one needs to have to do this properly + other costs to run a business, just find someone else or a different service within your budget, don't expect people to lower their prices just because you can't afford them

I suffer from tension headaches since last year, I finally went to a Chinese lady for a massage. It was similar to this technique and I tell ya I was in pain lol but she got every knot out of my shoulders, back and the next day when I woke up I felt like I got hit by a truck. Three weeks go by and I didn’t get one tension headache, I felt great. The only problem was that it cost me $100 for an hour and I couldn’t afford it but I’m saving my money to go back to the same lady.
Same here, but it only cost me half as much. My lower back felt bruised for several days, but my neck and shoulders didn't bother me for a long time.
@@queenb67 omg yes, when the massage was over I thought never again lol but the funny thing is that I was supposed to have a Swedish massage and they got it mixed up, so I thought it was going to be an hour of pure bliss but it was an painful hour instead but that little mistake caused me to not be in pain for three weeks and I was truly thankful.
Nice to hear that. Most of Asian spa treatments are cheaper and longer in duration.
For example: Indonesian Creambath costs around USD5, it includes hair wash + head massage + upper body massage in sitting position for 1 hour. One of the head massages in youtube so far.

This looks so good. Especially having your butt massaged. So many ppl don't do it because it's intimate area, but we sit so much and ultimately our hips are in there. So it's just as important as anywhere else.

This reminds me of a similar massage I booked when I was pregnant. The lady massaged my legs in the same way as shown here. It felt like such a relief for my tired muscles then. Seeing this video brings back the same relaxation I had. Thank you, Shili!

@@geminiwriter8875 Sure! She used a big rolled up towel and shaped it into a U. I layed in such a way the towel was supporting my hips and chest. Belly did not carry my weight.

Shili i really do recommend foam rolling!! I had the same tight muscles from sitting on a desk for too long every day and thought only special massages would make it better but foam rolling for 30 min to 1 hr every day has helped me so much!! I’m no longer in pain nor i feel any tightness and i even sleep better!! Whenever i do feel tight or in any pain i focus my own ‘massage session’ on those muscles and i get instant relief!! 🥰
I love it. Reminds me of my niece when she offers me a back massage in exchange for money. She's just as fast but more violent 😂 I'm glad she's only 7 so it doesn't hurt as much. 🤕

It's painful during the treatment, but I can confirm to you that it needs a few days to feel all the benefits. In my case, a massage like this, relaxed my muscles so well and helped draining arms and legs, and i've felt relieved for about 2 months. That's a blessing.

좀 다른 얘기지만 전 시리님을 알게 되면서 중국에 대한 편견이 많이 사라졌어요.
예전에는 미디어에서 중국과 관련된 글들은 전부 자극적이고 중국을 욕되게 하는 글들만 있어서 중국은 모든 것이 이상하고 불쾌한 나라라고 생각했어요.
그런데 정말 우연히 시리님의 채널을 알게 되었고 시리님의 밝고 쾌활한 모습을 보면서 직접 중국에도 가보았어요.
제가 직접 본 중국은 미디어에서만 보던 중국과는 달리 사람들은 친절하고 음식은 맛있고 고도로 성장한 나라라는 것을 알게 되었습니다.
남에게 백번 들어봐야 다 소용없고 자기가 직접 보고 생각하는 것이 정말 중요하다고 생각합니다.

Way more important than massages is physical exercise. Make sure to move your body. Take a walk, do a 10 minute yoga class on UA-cam or something similar, but you need to do something or you might ruin your health.

I had a massage like this recently. The work on my shoulders is how I imagine the Vulcan Death Grip feels.
In my country the massages are made without clothes on, the physiotherapist that have to treat your back, for instance, have to do It without clothes on in the upper side of your body, the other way It Will be really uncomfortable and difficult for them yo accsses to that area... But I suppose it's different in each country🤷😊. I really enjoyed this massage, although It felt like an earthquake!! I hope you're perfectly good and healthy!! 🥰
