The General's daughter story is that she was kidnapped by his father's enemy at a very young age and she was brainwashed, trained to kill his own father but before that she got injured lost her memory, but when she regained her memory she also remembered her past and she knew that her real parents are her target.

The General's Daughter is one of the best series Abs-Cbn has ever produced (my opinion 😉). It's a story of best friends turned enemies. The antagonist friend kidnapped the "daughter" and made it looked like she died in an accident, changed her name and made her his daughter, fed with lies and groomed to be the best soldier with the ultimate mission of killing the General (her real father). Everyone in this series deserves an award,they are all so good,a power cast. Your podcast made me wanna rewatch it 😅.

1. Janella Salvador who sang the Moana song (with Zephanie & Stell at the beginning) is actually the one who played the "reincarnated" Camila dela Torre in Killer Bride and is also the main villain in Darna. Alexa Ilacad who covered Traitor was also in Killer Bride.
2. The one who portrays Darna is Jane de Leon. She auditioned for that global group, Now United, few years ago.
3. Jane de Leon and Janella Salvador were the first two girls to sing in the new ABS CBN Christmas Station ID you had watched.

DARNA as a normal girl is named NARDA. And if you guys remember KAMIKAZE's very famous song "NARDA" and i remember when u checked the english lyrics. Efra was like "why is NARDA saving the world? Is she a superhero?"

The Lead Actress of "The General's Daughter" is Angel Locsin who also played the role of DARNA back in the early 2000s and REGINE VELASQUEZ also sang the OST of that DARNA series "Di na Mag-iisa".

i remembered there was a rumor before that janela's version of HOW FAR I'LL GO on wish bus was banned in the US for a certain period of time because it has more views than the original singer. Many filipinos living in america said that they can't find her version on UA-cam because it was banned.

Sb19 Stell's beautiful singing voice is perfect for Disney Songs, he'll be a great fit for musical theater shows becoz aside from the fact that it's his long time dream to be in it, he's really great at singing and dancing (being the main vocal and choreographer of SB19)🥰🍓

Trivia - Darna was originally supposed to be played by Liza Soberano in a movie. She's the gorgeous girl who appeared on BGYO's The Baddest MV. She got injured while doing stunts for Bagani. She was advised against doing more stunts, so she had to give up the role and Jane de Leon took over. Due to the pandemic closing theaters and a lot of changes in ABS-CBN, they decided to do a TV series instead of a movie.
Killer Bride was starred by Janella Salvador. I love the tv series its a mix of horror, suspense, drama. Janella S also sang the PH version of Moana Theme song and now she's in Darna as the villain. Such a talented artist

Janella was actually chosen by Disney PH to cover Moana song How Far I'd Go 6 years ago, but the YT vid was block in USA. It wasnt initially blocked, but she was beating the official version by Alessia Cara in terms of views and likes so people (even American) thought Janella sang the original version. I guess Disney had to do something hence banning her version in USA.
STELL, Janella and Zeph nailed it, they were the trio we never knew we needed but shocked us all with their amazing talent.

I highly suggest u Waleska to watch general's daughter for a series & Hello Love Goodbye for a movie. And She's dating a gangster movie too. Actually, I think all Kathryn's movies are really great bcos she's really a very good actress. I can't emphasize enough how good of an actress she is.
In "Halik sa Hangin" KZ was singing nung ako ay masaya, which directly translate to when i was happy.
Sarah geronimo won the best actress three times and she was being crown as box office queen three times and she is one of the queen of box office royalty. And yeah ! She is a great actress. But she loves music more than anything else . That is why she does not have much time for movies and series.
Just like what piolo always said ( we need 10 Sarah to do all the projects given to her) that's how busy Sarah is.

Janina Salvador is an actress playing Valentina the main villain in Darna. Her mom Janine Desiderio is a singer who played Kim in Miss Saigon and popularised the song "Hindi ako si Darna" (tagalog ver of Superwoman).
Fun fact Janella Salvador's mother was part of the original production of Miss Saigon in London, she went on to understudy both Gigi and Kim in London and eventually main Kim. And when Janella head that Cameron Mckintosh and the other producers of the show will go to Manila and hold an audition, she plan on trying out but at that time she was in other country and something happened that made her missed the audition schedule.

Killer Bride is amazing. I swear you guys won’t regret watching it. The plot twist, the actors, the plot itself will leave you guys on edge every ep. There’s a site I think with Eng subs. And it’s pretty short actually. 1 ep is like around 20 mins only.

The amazingly gorgeous and talented Jane De Leon is NARDA/DARNA. You also saw and heard her singing in the ABS-CBN XMAS ID. She started the song along with Janella and Joshua, they are the main cast of DARNA.
Janella plays Regina/Valentina aka the villain or rival of DARNA. However, Regina and Narda started as friends, but you know how that will go…friend turn enemy.
Joshua is Brian who is Narda/Darna guy friend/love interest and vice versa..Brian likes Narda/DARNA.
However, Regina/Valentina also likes Brian too..so a love triangle…actually a love square-ish cuz there’s another not so good guy Noah who has his eyes on Narda too. Regina/Valentina also has Ali who is her bodyguard/assistant and he has one-sided love with her too. There’s a lot of one-sided love except for Narda/DARNA x Brian’s mutual feelings for each other.

The daughter was kidnapped by the general’s enemy when she was still a baby. That enemy, her adopted dad, made her believe that the army is abusive and corrupt or smthn and raised her to kill the general (which is actually her biological father).
