I Iike the slimline pro li, but I use it for people who have short space between forehead and eyebrows for the vertical bars and on kids. For the 1st reason I use them, I can't see why I would want a wider gtx blade on it🤷🏾♀️. Although I feel the corded andis is the goat, I don't use it anymore. Next in line is the Babyliss pro gold fx with a professionally sharpened blade, zero gapped. It is my favorite in my arsenal.
I still love the Andis Styliner II, they are a beast!! Sharp, powerful and never runs hot. I have been rocking them for 10 years. Styliner Ones for 18 years.
Andis Cordless T's with the GTX blade zero gapped are the best overall trimmer in the game period. They are crispy on any hair type, won't bite and the ergonomics are just like the corded one. Consistency and speed is everything. 787g is hela crispy but can be too sharp for some skin types. The blade on the Detailer's don't hit like the other 2. Slimline is a useful tool to have for smaller work. Haven't tried the new blade yet but I will.
The plastic bottom part of the detailers broke because of the Clippercide. Built okay.

I feel like the look shouldn't matter as much. I mean yea it's nice to have some fancy designs or whatever, but ultimately, it's the performance and how it works that's most important. The rest is just superficial or cosmetic. The function and ergonomics are essential.

Honestly, I thought you were gonna do an updated “trimmer war” with maybe comparisons to that video.... little disappointed there. In all actuality, I still LOVE the slimline pros, and the hit harder than my black FX’s with the OG blade. The slim lines are modified with the 1 minute blade mod from rich, but yeow they hit, and will cut if not careful

real talk tho... It's something about them Andis GTX. I know they're corded but those things are unrivaled in terms of power and longevity in my opinion. Still holds the crown for best trimmer all time to me.
I just got a pair of corded Wahl Detailers for $120 (normally just north of $250 all in) and man oh man, im in love. Such a GREAT product!!
I still use a t outliner with a sharper blade, and i dont want something else. Sometimes i use thr wahl detailer of my fellow worker. Also nice 👌🏽

I agree that the cordless detailer's build feels solid, durable as well as powerful enough. The gold FX skeleton trimmer is same in those aspects n hits nice n crispy. The corded Andis t outliner with the square blade zero gapped did wonders for me. I am curious about the slimline pro LI cordless trimmer, but don't feel like it is worth the $70 price in my area.
Overall I agree with Bossio, and my personal favorite trimmer is the cordless Wahl detailer I have modified with the Andis black pro mate T-outliner blade zero gapped. Amor...
I liked detailers but the plastic tab inside the case that holds the tension spring in place always would break.

@@Bossiocuts problem is i think the majority of people want a new product. wahl got bashed for the 1919 clipper just being a senior with a different shell. you make the same product in a different shell a couple times and people will soon clock on to whats being done and feel as if they are being ripped off
That’s odd.. the 1919s are not supposed to be a “new clipper” they are supposed to be a special edition of the same clipper celebrating its 100th anniversary. NowI could see people getting upset with andis or wahl marketing a meeting clipper, new name, new design and all... and it being the same thing internally and functionally as everything else

Only thing id say is Chris and all these other barbers should be open to other Clippers. I feel like they just really like hooked to the same clippers theyve had for like last five years or more and dnt ever look past them. Gamma trimmers are shit tbh. They’re so weak. And they don’t feel ergonomic at all. I use the sc alphas and they’re a pretty good clipper. I just wish they didn’t feel so hollow and weak.
They only have 2 trimmers but the newer version of the hitter is definitely better than the first edition, much improved.
