    It’s that new blade. I bought the new blade and put it on the old Trimmer and it’s 🔥🔥🔥🔥!! Idk if it’s the new blade that comes on the 2020T..but the newest blade is ferocious!! 👌🏿

    I agree about the JRL Onyx clipper. Once you get the Onyx clipper in your hands, you see just how cheap Stylecraft's made. In my opinion they've perfect the clicker, the power, the weight and the noise. Im off the Stylecraft/Gamma wagon. Im team #jrl

      We were just talking about this at my shop the other day comparing my Onyx & my buddy's Gamma Boosted. The boosted cuts great but they're just so cheaply made

    • @davidberry9226
      @davidberry9226 2 місяці тому +2

      @@Dylan-ic7kf yup. My boosted's died on me in 1 year 8 months of moderate use. Went against my better judgment and copped the Stylecraft Rebels, and also got the JRL Onyx's. HUGE difference between the two and for about the same price. And the Onyx's have more power than the boosted's and rebels and are way quieter. The click lever on the Stylecraft Rebels is garbage. Clanky AF.

      @davidberry9226 100% agree. I loved the way my Boosted's cut but after about 3 months, the power switch failed. Fixed that, now it's just the paint chipping which to me just lends to the poor build quality. Bought the Onyx's & they cut great plus feel like a well built clipper. Just ordered the Onyx trimmers today on the restock. Can't wait

      @davidberry9226 I had the original ones & my only issue was the blade. Saw Tank & S Craft Blends give it their stamp of approval so I figured might as well give it a shot. Plus $145 isn't bad these days

    What I found with the original trimmer is it was very “picky”. Like it would trap and snag on skin. Almost like when you use the fine tooth ys park comb, that would pick and grabs the head. I’m wondering the new blade is smoother on the skin and won’t grab

    Purchased using your code tank👍 not a fan of the bottom half of the trimmer, not much grip with the matte. Wished they would have stuck with the original bottom half.

    Do you happen to know if any replaceable blades from other trimmer brands fit the 2020t (and onyx). JRL replaceable blades are kind of hard to get in europe (especially the onyx replaceable blades).
    I know Philthy Blendz makes an adapter for the trimmer to be able to mount Babyliss blades, but i was kinda hoping i wouldnt have to resort to buying that adapter as it is 24 bucks + shipping costs for just a piece of plastic.

    • @TankBeChoppin
      @TankBeChoppin Місяць тому

      Yeah most blades don’t fit on this trimmer unless you use an adapter.

      You might be too heavy handy bro. If your trimmers 0 gapped don’t apply a lot of pressure. I also don’t use 0 gapped trimmers on back of the neck especially on straight hair clients. You don’t have to zero gap everything to be effective
