I have two of these, both state "2.0". One of them the display stays lit as long as power is applied. The other one...the display blanks after 60 seconds; though the timer is still functioning. I would like this second one to leave the display on all the time... juts like the first one does.
I have setup using each relay to turn on a different led light using two triggers(p-4) mode..When I attempt to use Reed sensors (normal open) instead of triggers it will not work. Any idea what the issue might be?
Hi robojax, Do you know if the relays are isolated when turned off (not energised). Both ground and live connection? I am looking to run a 12 volt motor in two ways One with the control board you show here and Two with a standard on off switch. Both controlling the same motor but not at the same time. The reverse relay board you reviewed previously has some kind of common ground fault when I try the standard on off switch. I am not an electrician. Thanks Scott
Hi, I am sorry I cam so many times on your comment, and it was hard for me to find the module. but today I just searched the garage. It is very obvious that the relays are totally isolated and independent. so you can do whatever you want.
Very helpful. My project is to enable and disable a battery. 1. The link to the manual does not work for me. I am controlling battery 12v dc to dc charger to Prismatic 4S Lifepo4 batteries on a boat and precision is very important. The spec is +- .1vdc . The voltage range I am interested monitoring in P5 mode is about 12.6 to 13.9vdc. I will be using the A and B relays to drive a battery charger sensor input at very low current. Q1) What is the level of accuracy on the voltage monitor in mode P5 when sensing Voltage A and Voltage B pin? Q2) Can you provide the manual link? I am ordering this! You have saved me so much time. I'm sending a some money over. Thanks Again!
Thank you Danny,, thank you for letting me know about the link. It has been fixed. The manual is not that helpful but I included. I don't know who published the manual, but is says voltage Error: ± 0.1V I am glad you found this useful. Ahmad
Excellent tutorial, how ever I think the relay on my modules (3) is not working. The light on the modules comes on but there is no clicking sound coming from the relay when the light comes on. Any suggestion?
either the voltage low or power is not enough or relay is bad. take it out and test it. You can learn testing the relay here ua-cam.com/video/N-fFk51Eb8s/v-deo.html
Good morning, thanks for this helpful video :) Just one question for clarity. In P-5 mode, I am sending a sense signal from another relay that will send a 24v current. This voltage will always be 24v (±0.5v). When there is no voltage present I want to relay to stop. Should I set the high to 20v to trigger on and the low to 5v to trigger off when no voltage present? Hopefully I understood this correctly. Thanks and keep on :)
Hello, I usually replay daily. But your question is not simple to answer. I need to test it but I don't have the module ready. So you would have to come to conclusion from my review. I believe I've left nothing out about this module except the voltage sensitivity.
Thank you for a good tutorial of how to use this board, Q. can this be programmed to use time from 00.1 Ms as i want to use a fast relay board for using on a Gas engine 1 channel to inject gas and the 2nd channel to ignite/spark
you are welcome. Have you purchased this? Could you please share the link where you purchased it from? you can't set smaller than 1 second with this module. Both channels are independant and you can program them whichever way you want.
I am a new viewer and love the videos!! In theory i could set up each channel and active the programmed response with one trigger to both V1+ and V2+. Like a bridge between them and on trigger to one of the 2 ports. I am trying to initialize two processes from one trigger. One that lasts 5 min and another that lasts 30 min and both starting when one trigger is used. i hope i am making sense. thanks in advance.
You are welcome. both channels are independent. Also I never leave any feature out. So make sure to watch it fully without skipping so you can use everything this module offers. Good luck. Please don't forget to subscribe.
@@robojax thanks for the response. I did watch the video from start to finish and have passed it along to several others. I know i would need to use P4 for my application so that A and B can operate at the same time not in succession like P3. I just did not see an example of a bridged V1+ and V2+ and initialized with a single trigger. I will have to get one and test for myself. Thanks again for this awesome video.
I am not able to get mine either into programming mode or to give me an option to add counts. I long press enter but does not change. When start up I can program A and B but at the end of programing it never gives me a option for doing C (counts)
I can't get into the programing section....I push "enter" and hold but nothing happen....I connected a 12v power supply to "power" + and -. I am not sure what else to do. I am trying to program relay #1 to close for 1 second when power is apply and relay number 2 to close for 1 second when power is remove.
it should work. The module must be defective if not working. I am not sure. Check the buttons to see if they are in "keep pressing" status due to physical damage .
@@robojax Thank you for your reply...I just realize may be I can't enter into program because I did not connect any voltage to V1 or V2...I simply connected a 12v source to power. Do you think that I need to connect a voltage source to be allowed to enter into program? is power connection used to power the board and voltage (V1 and V2) to power load connected to the relays?
Hello, is it possible without switch, maybe If the motor have end switch included.
Best greads from Germany

Great video. You were definitely in milliseconds mode, though.😅

Hi, your module must be different. it is strange.
Could a person load the arduino codes directly into this STM8500.
Which stm8500? We have tales about it in this video and don’t it

No. You just need 12V. The v1 v2 are for sensing and not powering.
@@robojax Thank you very much!
I can't find this on aliexpress
Thank you for letting me know. I just added a link to the product.
@@robojax Thanks great video will be perfect for many purposes
