I truly love how Ruki truly puts all of himself into the song and how he puts on such a TRUE dramatic act... he could make a fork look like the most unfortunate and miserable being.
Ruki's screams chilled me to the bone...mad respect to The GazettE for making such powerful, moving songs like Taion, Bathroom, Reila, Casiss, and Chizuru. Ruki's voice and lyrics are filled with more emotion and feeling than could possibly be expressed with words. I can't understand the lauguage, but I don't need to because of Ruki's stage presence...he wears his heart on his sleeve. I may have just discovered this band a couple of months ago, but they've changed my life forever
For last warning, don't look it up. It stains itself onto you, it is quite shaking. I had to take breaks from reading about it because it made me so sick (physically) My heart goes out to her family and I wish her nothing but restful peace/justice..
When Ruki screamed I started to shiver. This song is beautiful but the meaning is very sad. The lyrics bring me to tears everytime. I am so sorry for what happened to you, Rest In Piece Furuta-San.
Ruki's putting all of his emotions and this makes the song beautiful. He wanna pass the pain that Junko felt to the crowd by screaming.I think that Kai is crying too with the crowd.
When Ruki singing, I felt as though he was praying to her, when he looked up at the ceiling and raised his hand...so much emotion was put into this song, heart and soul, raw pure emotion..it's so beautiful. RIP Junko Furuta
I already started crying at the beginning because I know the backstory to the song and watching Ruki taking on the role of the victim, trying to claw his way to the light, to freedom, calling and screaming for help, I just couldn't hold back my tears. Rest in peace, Junko Furuta. So much respect for The Gazette for making these powerful, emotional tributes in their music.
Taion is one of my most favorite song of all time. I love this live soooo much! I love all the songs they played in Decomposition Beauty. Ruki's so good at performing...like he's BORN THIS WAY ;D
You can see all four members start bursting to tears in the end, the first chorus when Ruki can't get the words out... its just heart and gut wrenching! Reita looks especially hit at the end. but i suppose that's also because why Ruki struggles with this song. All in all, an incredible song!
Ruki's screams send shivers down my spine. I just read about her story after seeing the comments and how can humans be so cruel?! They are not human thy are even worse than animals!
If anyone can reach us through music - it is GazettE If anyone can touch a memory through music - it is GazettE If anyone can bring even me to tears with a song like this - it Is GazettE. Amazing band, Inspirational, and powerful. This is truly beautiful.
He's saying doushite (why) at the end like why did this happen. This is such a moving song. I love how much emotion he puts into the song. You can feel the pain that Junko and Ruki felt. It's as if Junko enter Ruki's body to tell him to help her express how much pain she went through.
I love how they make it clear: an understanding is impossible! Every person in this world who thinks that rape is the victim's fault or justifiable should listen to this at least once. A lot of people need to hear this song in my country, Brazil, I guess..
the best thing about ruki is he speaks right out of his heart and into ours. he feels for people and loves them. his emotions just reach through me and tug on my heart. i love you ruki keep your beautiful soul
I honestly started crying when I first heard this song. And I couldn't stop crying for about two hours. I love The GazettE, their music has pretty much changed my life forever.
I dont think that I have ever been so moved by a song before. I have goosebumps and Ruki's screams actually made me shiver. That song really burns those feelings into you. It's amazing to be so good at expressing such strong emotions. Chizuru and Cassis are one thing but D.L.N and this are another. Amazing
this is amazing. ruki puts so much emotions into his songs. that song was really great, especially live performance. he makes you feel every word that he sings. r.i.p. junko
oh my goodness , This is a powerful and amazing song !!! This is one rare live concert you can ever get from any bands to also show you their pain or anyone else s story that have been used for this music . I love this song so much !!!
a very p0werful s0nq .. it chilled me t0 the b0ne and when ruki screamed it seems like he was furuta-san .. everytime i listened to this s0ng , i always cry , n0w that i kn0w the st0ry behind their s0ng .. a great respect to Gazette for making such a p0werful s0ng that is dedicated to junk0 furuta (RIP)
i know this may sound alil werid but Ruki's scream is so beautiful. Thats really the only way i can decribe it. Its totally amazing and sends chills through your body. Ruki just sings with so much emotion i luve it!!! Taion is hands down my all time favorite Gazette song!!
All these people mentioning Junko Furuta -.- Gazette said it was about a crime they read about, NEVER about Junko so can people stop saying they wrote it for her? They were purposefully vague, don't assume that it is about her.
more then slickly vague due to the yakuza (the ones who did the crime) and their lives could be in danger if they confirmed that as the meaning but yeah its not a proven fact to be about her
THE GAZETTE is a power and they use it very wisely by making the best songs in the world and i do agree with that statement that "these are true emotions, other bands are shallow i would give 100 thumbs up for that one if i could and for those 12 people who dislike this do not know true art or true emotions when they see them or hear them those 12 people got to understand how The Gazette feels when they start playing we love you Gazette and always will GAZEROCK IS NOT DEAD!!!
When Ruki sings you can truly feel what hes feeling. like him and all of the fans are somehow combined through the GazettE's music. its truly horrible what happened to Furuta Junko and for Ruki to dedicate a song to her shows what a heart he has. This song makes me want to scream that is how much i can feel the song. i think we all feel this way. Gazerock foreverr~
The fact that everyone except Aoi was ill makes it even more amazing. I really thought he did a better job once but as I heard he was actually sick and this wasn't even the first song of the concert so his voice is even more used gives this already awesome part a kick so I can call this nearly perfect.
-What about “Taion” lyrics? Ruki: That’s… before, Reita and I saw a certain story online. When we found that out, we were really overwhelmed. So, when I thought about whether I can honour it somehow, I thought I’d leave behind the feeling of being unable to entirely escape from something.
I've heard so many people say that it's about Junko and then others who say it isn't. The lyrics, whatever the case, are very dark and disturbingly sad. I've wondered before if maybe the subject matter is something one of the band members relates to but I suppose it isn't safe to assume things. They all did a great job. I like the contrast between Aoi, Uruha, and Reita's stoic vibe and Ruki and Kai's outwardly emotional dispositions. If that makes sense. XD
Gazette NEVER said its about Junko Furuta. They only said its about a crime that happenend so they couldnt be more vague. Maybe its just straight up made up. This is just fans getting crazy ideas. Its in visual keis history to sing about these topics. Listen to rose of pain from X Japan and Eyes love you from Hide and you see some really early example of this. They never are serious about it. Why should you listen to me? Cause I am a visual kei fan who has lived many years of his live in japan and participated more debattes on this topic than you can imagine on japanese forums. There is yet to be any believable evidence.
Seien chin Well... I definitely won't argue with you. XD I can see what you're saying. I feel like a LOT of visual kei bands sing about crime. I don't think I ever believed that this song was about Junko. And while I agree that this is about crime, I think it would be safe to assume that there are some personal feelings mixed into the lyrics. But then, some artists are able to write some really dark songs and not mean a lick of it. But...this doesn't strike me as one of those songs.
Gazette NEVER said its about Junko Furuta. They only said its about a crime that happenend so they couldnt be more vague. Maybe its just straight up made up. Sorry but this is just fans getting crazy ideas. Why should you listen to me? whO..I LOVE the emotion and effort The gazette put into this song ( actually they do that all the time! Yes, thats a good thing!) I love the begining were Ruki san bangs the metal parts of the floor, when Ruki starts screaming with a faint cry and the guitar solo by Kai san> i think. XD. GREAT SONG!
damn . . . that was intense . . . everytime i watch that im just blown away at the emotion and even though i cant fluently speak japanese, i know some, plus i know the english lyrics... and the lyrics just dig down deep into your soul... (ik that probably sounds really stupid but thats the best way i can describe it.)
I can't listen to this song without crying, such pain...its leaving me heartbroken. Poor Furuta I hope she will be able to rest in piece. And I hope that justice will be served to those beasts someday >:(
best Japanese band ever!! Gazette rocks!! exellent bass, lead guitar.. vocals and lyrics!! very good!! the live is just as good as the music videos! like how they add extras on the live though!
i wonder what his screaming would have been like in the pv .... other than that, i love this song, ruki puts so much emotion in this like an actor tries his/her best to show the emotion they want to get out of the crowd, he literarly screams hos heart out just as junko must have done.... i was horrified and cried the first time i read that story 2 years ago, and im still crying actually... i can't get over how cruel that death was and how far lust can go ... truly a master piece of the gazette
their songs r always better live thats y they r so awesome!! i didnt get to c this song live but i did get to c guren live and ruki accomplished making me cry hehe and thats something really hard to do
His scream years later still sends shivers down my spine. May she RIP. This live is still one of my top 3 favorites of The GazettE.
I totally agree with you. This is the #1 in my Top of The GazzettE Songs.
Reila #2
Dogma #3
im still crying at this
Oh yep. It's like his vocal cords are acting as a conduit for the suffering that Junko went through.
I truly love how Ruki truly puts all of himself into the song and how he puts on such a TRUE dramatic act... he could make a fork look like the most unfortunate and miserable being.
I laughed too hard at this 😭😭 now i feel bad
Ruki's screams chilled me to the bone...mad respect to The GazettE for making such powerful, moving songs like Taion, Bathroom, Reila, Casiss, and Chizuru. Its such a good live

Its as though you can hear Junko scream in him.
those screams send chills down my spine~~ i love ruki san~ he sings w such passion, and Uruha... he is my god~~~
2019, still cant recover from that piercing screams. It haunts me.
You can see all four members start bursting to tears in the end, the first chorus when Ruki can't get the words out... its just heart and gut wrenching! Reita looks especially hit at the end. but i suppose that's also because why Ruki struggles with this song.

Truely a Tribute to her. Best live I've ever seen... I wish I could have been there...
I always cry when listen to this song...
He's saying doushite (why) at the end like why did this happen. This is such a moving song. I love how much emotion he puts into the song. You can feel the pain that Junko and Ruki felt. It's as if Junko enter Ruki's body to tell him to help her express how much pain she went through.
So many emotions in every single word he sings. Amazing.
I love how they make it clear: an understanding is impossible! Every person in this world who thinks that rape is the victim's fault or justifiable should listen to this at least once. A lot of people need to hear this song in my country, Brazil, I guess..
I cannot watch this whole video without wanting to crying. It's so unbelievable how deep it is.
the best thing about ruki is he speaks right out of his heart and into ours. he feels for people and loves them. his emotions just reach through me and tug on my heart.
i love you ruki
keep your beautiful soul
I honestly started crying when I first heard this song.
And I couldn't stop crying for about two hours.
I love The GazettE, their music has pretty much changed my life forever.
Ugh... I am about to cry... :'( I love this song so much... Thanks The GazettE for making great songs...
I dont think that I have ever been so moved by a song before. I have goosebumps and Ruki's screams actually made me shiver. That song really burns those feelings into you. It's amazing to be so good at expressing such strong emotions. Chizuru and Cassis are one thing but D.L.N and this are another. Amazing
I can watch this a thousand times and Ruki's screams will always give me the chills.

All these people mentioning Junko Furuta -.-
Gazette said it was about a crime they read about, NEVER about Junko so can people stop saying they wrote it for her?
They were purposefully vague, don't assume that it is about her.
Dannisaur1996 THANK YOU! I was about to lose my mind with the fans and their theories.
still, it must have been a very similar story because the emotions in this performance makes more sense when you think about that story
more then slickly vague due to the yakuza (the ones who did the crime) and their lives could be in danger if they confirmed that as the meaning but yeah its not a proven fact to be about her
Dannisaur1996 tbh i think it partly inspired Ruki imop
speechless....its soo intense well done can't be described in words!!!

And then makes me cry, because I always imagine Junko when this song plays. ;__;
the way how ruki sing it is awesome
Oh my god. i'm crying so deeply now!
awesome song .. and Ruki is such an amazing performer.
I've heard so many people say that it's about Junko and then others who say it isn't. The lyrics, whatever the case, are very dark and disturbingly sad. I've wondered before if maybe the subject matter is something one of the band members relates to but I suppose it isn't safe to assume things.
