A not-so-naive UA-cam viewer is about to "board the train." Yep, when the Deer got back up, I was hooked. The roller coaster ride through Fear/Dread/Anger/Sorrow left me emotionally drained. I haven't seen "Parasite," and when that movie was in the theater, UA-cam recommended "Train To Busan." Back then I'd seen the likes of "Memories of Murder" (2003) and "Tae Guki Gi" (2004), so I thought "Train" would be easy peasy. But this film had me "by the throat" throughout, stomping on my hopes and expectations for the characters. Kudos to the writer, director, actors, and especially the stunt performers for creating a modern classic.

This film is so amazing, an incredibly well-told story, thanks for sharing a rewatch with us! I love all of the characters in it, even that egocentric jackass, and how it shows that good horror can invoke more emotions than just fear and dread. I enjoyed _Cargo_ with Martin Freeman too for that reason, not as intense but still a poignant ending. I've got _Seoul Station_ on one of my watchlists somewhere but haven't gotten around to it yet, I think it's supposed to be the initial outbreak events just before this one begins. And I'd wondered about _Kingdom_ so I'm glad you recommended it. Have you seen _The Host_ from Bong Joon-ho? It's a monster movie from 2006 that got me hooked on Korean films. Watched it again recently and I was surprised to spot Hershel at the beginning!
I’ve been meaning to see Cargo but haven’t gotten around to it yet. I def want to see the Host too! I remember hearing about it but haven’t gotten a chance to see it yet. It actually has Bae Doona (one of the stars of Kingdom- which is beautifully shot, very well acted, and has some of the best design and execution I’ve seen) I’m gonna get into Seoul Station and Peninsula too at some point.

@9:20 the people are seeing others running, and just watching them. Reminds me of the time myself and two of my friends were walking from Wal-Mart. I was in the middle; Friend A was on my left, and Friend B was on my right. Friend B says "I think something's looking at me from the bushes." Friend A and I took off. 🏃🏃🏃 I hear Friend B yelling "Guys!" I yelled "B***h run!" Never did find out what it was. Like Katt Williams said. "Black people don't investigate sh*t. Just go n****. Go!" 👌💯😭
It was an intense and scary movie to watch and I have a huge crush on Gong Ji-Cheol. When I was younger I lived in South Korea and I wanna go back and see my relatives.
"This train is macabre as hell. Streaked with the blood of the fallen!" 🤣🤣🤣 Killin me with these quips Alanda! They really packed this terror train full of gorgeous people. When Don Lee peeled out of his blazer I was like "Excuse me? What are you doing with all those muscles sir? Spare some for the rest of Korea!" 😅 Easily the best zombie movie I've seen since 28 Weeks Later. Don't think I've ever hated a human character more than the jerkass businessman. And that ending 😭😭😭 For more K-horror (in space!) with Gong Yoo - Silent Sea. For something a little different out of Korea - Space Sweepers. Big found family energy in that one.
This movie BROKE me when I saw it! Thank you for this one! I know this would be an odd request for a reaction, but it would be cool to see reactions to some of Don Bluth's animated films (An American Tale, The Secret of NIMH, Fievel Goes West) these were movies that hit way different than Disney movies. Also an older animated film from the 70's, Watership Down! It's based off my favorite book and tells a really good story. Just throwing some ideas. Thank you again for doing what you do!
I love when movies show how different people react to stress situations. Some people freeze, some fight, some show the worst of themselves, some people shine and many times it’s not the people we would expect that end up being the heroes. It’s why I love horror movies, disaster movies and home invasions.
Ahh I’m loving your channel hun😂🤍 I’m a huge fan of horror movies and I have a small list of horror/thriller movie recommendations you might like. ⬇️ 1. When a stranger calls (Netflix) 2. The uninvited (Amazon prime) 3. Hush (Netflix) 4. Fear street part 1-3 (Netflix) 5. Hell fest (Netflix) 6. There’s someone inside your house (Netflix) 7. P2 (Tubi) 8. Identity (Netflix) 9. Yes I agree, The Kingdom was awesome on Netflix!! If you haven't seen The Silent Sea on Netflix, please do!! See you next time Ms. Parker!!
Train to Busan is a powerful film a stand out in the zombie genre. You should also check out The Host (2006) not a zombie film but another interesting Korean horror movie. Would also love to see you do the original Night of the living dead and Dawn of the dead reactions. Also look into My Bloody Valentine (1981) although it might be difficult to find the unrated version.
The selfless baseball guy and the cheerleader girl, the grandma sisters who were both disappointed of people's selfishness and letting themselves to be brainwashed by the selfish man, which made one sister think that this people doesn't deserve to be safe so she did was to open the door for all people inside to die. The conductor's braveness for still doing his job, still announcing the survivors to where they should ride and go next, and still trying his best to bring them to he thought the safest place (even tho some was not), being selflessness for saving this selfish man but ended up betrayed. Father-to-be's braveness and sacrifices and being a good character since the beginning. The dad who's being selfish in the beginning but ended up saving lives and sacrificing himself, whatta great character development. The homeless guy who saved lives not just once, but twice. First when he covered a cloth to the zombie's head who's attacking Gong Yoo's character (dad of the little girl), second when he sacrificed his life for the pregnant woman and the little girl. And the most vulnerable but also selfless people who the only ones that survived, the pregnant woman and the little girl. Little did she know that finishing the song she practiced to sing for her dad saved their lives. I think she remembered his dad's advice to her back when they were in their car, on the way to the train that whatever she does, always finish what she started. Seems like her dad is still protecting her 'til the end of the movie. These are my favorite Protagonists in this movie ❤️ The Antagonist's performance was sooo good too tho. He really made himself freaking annoying in this movie, that majority of the viewers want to punch his face in the screen. Hahaha! What a great film. My number 1 favorite zombie movie because it's not just a typical horror movie, I know y'all know what I mean hehe! ^___^ The makers of the film, the Actors. They all deserve an Award for this masterpiece. ❤️

Can we take a minute to talk about how RAGE INDUCING the one COO of the express line was? Pushing literally everyone in the way to stay alive? Straight up yelling at my TV whilst watching. LOL
Some of the heaviest horror movies I've seen are about parents protecting their kids from what's trying to kill them (for example, this movie). It's that human element that keeps you tethered. Haven't seen this one in years, but it takes you on a feels train (no pun intended). It's even getting a US remake, so I heard. And there's a sequel to this movie, but it's nowhere near as good and doesn't have that emotional hook this one does. There's an animated prequel to this movie too, buuuut it's just a little too...much.

Im so glad you watched Train to Busan. It’s one of the best movies I watched and so emotional. I love how you express your emotions while watching this. I was literally crying with you at the end 🥺
It actually has Bae Doona (one of the stars of Kingdom- which is beautifully shot, very well acted, and has some of the best design and execution I’ve seen) I’m gonna get into Seoul Station and Peninsula too at some point.
one of my absolute favorite korean movies is the beauty inside... it's not horror, but it's just soooo good i have to recommend you watch it if you can find it
it's the only movie i've ever seen that really has captured my experience of being faceblind, even though that's not what it's about at all.. i love it so so so much
This movie always makes me cry 🥺🥺
This is the BEST zombie movie imo, and an overall great movie. I cried like 6 times when I first watched it.
When I was younger I lived in South Korea and I wanna go back and see my relatives.
this was my first time seeing this movie and i cried so much but I loved every single second of it :) great video per usual sis.❤❤
Spare some for the rest of Korea!" 😅
Easily the best zombie movie I've seen since 28 Weeks Later. Don't think I've ever hated a human character more than the jerkass businessman. And that ending 😭😭😭
For more K-horror (in space!) with Gong Yoo - Silent Sea.
For something a little different out of Korea - Space Sweepers. Big found family energy in that one.
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I LOVED THE SILENT SEA!!! I’ll def check out Space Sweepers!
Was Titan AE Don Bluth as well? Cus I loved that movie.
@@lafatte24 Yup, he directed.
I did not expect tear up to this 😢😢😢
My first time crying in 2022
Thanks Alanda
Great reaction! And yes, Train to Busan is the greatest horror zombie 🧟♀️ film ever! 👍👍

Probably the most emotional reaction I've seen you do so far, and I'm here for it!! Beautiful Alanda, thank you!! Hopefully you've also seen the animated prequel to this film: Seoul Station. Yes I agree, The Kingdom was awesome on Netflix!! If you haven't seen The Silent Sea on Netflix, please do!! See you next time Ms. Parker!!
Thank you 💛
I haven’t seen Seoul Station yet but I finished and LOVED The Silent Sea! Gong Yoo and Bae Doona on screen together 😍😍😍
"Dad, you only care about yourself. That's why mommy left."

another great movie reaction/commentary by our Diana Ross.
So, uh... when they ask us why we are late tomorrow morning, this is what we point to.
Thx for the video. Loved it, of course.
I love this movie and I LIVED for your reaction. HOW👏EV👏ER👏 I still bawled my eyes out during your commentary
Ur commentary with movies like these is like a warm hug 😭 truly could not process the ending of this movie without u girl great work as always!! 💖🥹
This movie f*cked me up...i literally screamed "What the hell are these emotions?!?! For a zombie film?!?!"
I love this movie and I absolutely LOVE your hair!
Train to Busan is a powerful film a stand out in the zombie genre.
You should also check out The Host (2006) not a zombie film but another interesting Korean horror movie.
Would also love to see you do the original Night of the living dead and Dawn of the dead reactions.
Also look into My Bloody Valentine (1981) although it might be difficult to find the unrated version.
that little girl is INSANELY talented
This is Ma Dong-seok, the blue guy, and he's in the Marvel movie The Eternals.
Iono how I'm going to feel seeing that little girl again 💔
These are my favorite Protagonists in this movie ❤️
The Antagonist's performance was sooo good too tho. He really made himself freaking annoying in this movie, that majority of the viewers want to punch his face in the screen. Hahaha!
What a great film. My number 1 favorite zombie movie because it's not just a typical horror movie, I know y'all know what I mean hehe! ^___^
The makers of the film, the Actors. They all deserve an Award for this masterpiece. ❤️
THATS A LONG COMMENT WOAH
@@ilikedogs7641 😭 HAHAHAHAHAHA
@@RonaRacaza HOW DID YOU HAVE THAT MUCH MOTIVATION TO WRITE THAT COMMENT?
@@RonaRacaza ARE YOUR FINGERS EVEN OKAY?
@@ilikedogs7641 And why not? Is there any objections of writing my understanding and opinions about the movie? I just said what my mind want to say tho.
Great movie, I cry like a baby everytime I watch it. Esp when the father to be gets bit! 😢
My fave Korean movie has to be The Good, The Bad, The Weird. It’s a hell of a ride.
@35:41 Literally murdered a Wonder Girl, I'm sick! 😭
Definitely one of the most haunting and sad zombie movies out there. A great film
ah this movie made me cry for hours afterwards :,) but defo one of my favourites
also watch it follows!
I love Train To Busan, I watched it with subtitles ( its much better, because the English dubbed can get the translation wrong) I have the Sequel on blu ray steelbook
I told myself I wouldn’t watch anyone react to this until I got around to watching it myself but then miss Alanda Parker had to go and do it and now I have to watch!! 😆
Yesss girl! I was just about to go to bed early but now I have reason to stay up I love this movie definitely one of the best zombie movies I’ve seen
Run now, ask questions later should be a universal rule.
Korean movies are famous for heart breaking tear jerkers. I have been watching Korean movies for over 15+ years. Another great Foreign movie you should watch is "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon"
Thank u...I'm currently binging "All Of Us Are Dead" I don't even like Zombie movies...but the Koreans definitely know what they're doing with this genre👍
We binged watched it over the weekend. Loved it!!
I haven't been able to watch this for a 2nd time due to the emotional trauma to my soul so thank you for allowing me to and sharing the grief 🤣🤣
10:06 Have you watched “The Crucible/ Silenced” yet? They’re both in it! It’s... *A LOT* but definitely worth watching if you like dramatic films 🎬
I have seen it and it was gruesome… I had to fast forward through several scenes cause I just couldn’t take the stark reality of abuse that they were able to capture. It left me sick and outraged; but finding out the movie helped change the laws surrounding abuse of children and disabled people did help me sleep after seeing it. The performances were immaculate
When I close my eyes I can envision Chloe Bailey speaking. Both sound so similar. Great video! Cannot wait for you to watch the new Scream I can see you loving it
like the corner in your back
. Books, candels nice light..
Wonderful atmosphere.
YESSSSS I just had an exhausting moving day (got my own studio in a blue state and I’m never going back to my shithole home state, please clap) and now I can settle down in my new place with an Alanda video about this incredible movie ❤️❤️❤️ hope your week goes well girl!
This was one of those films I stumbled across and just gave a shot . I almost turned it off as I'm not one for subtitles . But it is absolutely amazing . I couldn't turn ot off .
Great reaction as always
Keep it 💯
This is one of my favorites!
I was really excited to see that this is what we were watching.
This movie's being remade by an American studio, and hopefully it's at least as good as Train To Busan.
