I was struggling for 20 minutes until I finally watched this video! 5 other videos came up first and none of them helped. You saved a life, I was losing it trying to get this thing replaced 😂😂

Awesome!! After spending 20 minutes struggling with trying to get to and push the little nub in unsuccessfully, this worked in 15 seconds. Thank you!

Thank you! Worked like a charm when nothing else did. Was about to figure out how to break the tab before finding this.

This totally works. I was unsuccessful getting my old visor out following the directions from a couple of other videos, but this method did the trick. Thank you Dog Auto Parts.

Thank you so much. After watching some other videos and struggling with it for a good half hour or more, searched and found this video. So so so much easier. It fell right out. Thanks again for making this video!!

Amazing! I was having a rough time trying to shove the tab underneath the wall to get the old one off. This video saved me a trip to the dealer to pay them to install a part that they had told me was out of stock.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.....Spent an hour trying to push that button in. Even went to the hardware store to find a tool with an angled tip to get at the button. Watched a couple other You Tube videos to no avail. Then saw your video, got a small screwdriver and in 5 seconds done deal. Wow.

Wow this was a revelation!! I was going crazy trying to get the old one out. Also a few other notes. Make sure the new one is unlocked. That messed me up too!!!! Also the one I bought had a sliding arm which made me think it was too long. Thanks for saving my sanity!!!! I will check out your store for sure!!!!

This method is better! Other methods in other videos are more tedious and frustrating 😅

Just wondering if you have any tips if it is not budging at all. It seems to be damaged and we cannot get it pressed down far enough to make it go under the opening. It needs to be "chiseled" or something to get it flatter to go underneath. Any thoughts? We have tried this method and others, with no luck (and it seems so simple, but frustrating!). Thank you!

I have had some very hard to work with ones in the past like you have described. It sounds like you need a smaller flat head screw driver that you can slide up and under the little pocket. This method will push the button underneath, but not put so much pressure on the button that it won't turn. If you push the button directly, it sometimes won't turn with the sun visor. If the visor is broken though, you could just strong arm it out, which will break the visor mount.

How are people SEEING where they’re putting the screwdriver? The design of the release is SO STUPID! I can’t get an angle to even see what I’m doing!

I agree with you 100% , in my case my headliner is really loose and I kinda pushed the ceiling up and I saw the little clip that we are supposed to push in and it finally worked!
