Hi Maam. I can see the way how you explain each and every important part about melodious Carnatic Music. One of the best detailed explanations I would say. But I would like to put forth a thought I have in mind. The basic element of anything is when learnt or taught in a language in which we are best brought up with. This applies to the person who teaches things as well as person who listens to those teachings. Even though, Carnatic music was originated from Tamil/Telugu, there are hardly any books or videos in the native languages available in the internet. The sweetness of the music is best understood and felt only when being explained in the native language. I believe I have not stirred the emotions of any, by getting this message conveyed. Hello Ashwin, Carnatic music basics are in Kannada, not in Telugu or Tamil. Purandara Dasa is the Pithamaha of Carnatic Music,

Guru Prasad Shiri Purandara Dasa considered Father of Carnatic music because He systematized the method of teaching existing Carnatic music which is followed to the present day. Kindly understand that he has not invented it from nowhere.
and aslo he himself studied the music at his gurukula.
