#mabufreakinghay to both of you vane and nando 😊 usually the Christmas tree that every household use for their decorations during this season was the artificial or plastic type of trees but pine trees can be found in the Philippines especially in Baguio City the summer capital of the Philippines (because weather there is cold).. you can see pine trees just everywhere... hope you can visit there if you will got the chance to finally travel back to the Philippines and experience Christmas there you will definitely love it for sure...
Maligayang(Merry) Pasko(Christmas) sa inyo... thank you for this video,

Filipinos are not celebrating Christmas early, but it is reminding that Christmas is coming or Filipinos are just starting to feel the spirit of Christmas. Filipinos are having their celebration on Christmas same day as everyone, I can just say Filipinos are starting their count down in September for Christmas.
    P.S. I'm a Filipino

When you hear in ALL shopping malls Christmas songs, when you see the start of Christmas decors in all buildings, when the countdown in Radio, TV and other forms starts in 1 Sept, IT GIVE US THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS STARTS and that is the Spirit that stays for a long time and the highlight is on Dec 16-24 Simbang Gabi. At home, we put our Christmas tree y decors by November. In Australia, i bring my tradition and put mine last wk of Nov. so I xa enjoy a month festivity.

no, we don't buy real tree 🎄 coz most of us have small houses, it won't fit 😂. We're just buying small plastic Christmas trees then keep it so we can use it next Christmas.
Hope that we can all celebrate a happy Christmas season despite of this pandemic. Christmas is really special here in the Philippines coz it means it's time for our family and love.
Happy -ber month to you guys and advance Merry Christmas. Stay safe and God bless us always #mabufrekinhay

    To answer your question:
For my family and most of my friends, we just buy plastic trees since real trees are a bit hard to find since they are mostly found in high areas like Baguio...I also think it’s because it is cheaper to just have a plastic tree so that we can use it again for the next year.

Maybe some people are still using branches of a tree esp in the province to make a Christmas tree. When I was young in the year 70's we used a real tree. We cut a branch of a tree not the whole tree just part of it with stems on it and used crepe paper to cover the stems with style. Then, hang many things with Christmas lights hanging on it. While others, ( like us) those with trees in their backyards or infront of their houses they use the whole tree as their Christmas tree as well as the plants and shrubs, we light them up and so, houses are like burning with colorful lights... its so cool and beautiful. We can feel the Christmas with that ambiance. Jesus' birthday is in December, so the moment the ___ber month comes (September), we feel the need to prepare for the
coming of the Baby Jesus, by putting all those stuffs that really make us happy. Then, in all radio stations , we can hear Christmas songs, ohh, believe me, the feeling is surreal. Really joyful 😊.

Hi Vanessa and Fernando. New subscriber here. First Just want to thank you for loving the Philippines, my country. Im so touched, everytime I've watched your videos. By the way, Merry Christmas (Maligayang Pasko). For your question, we not usually used the real tree, as time goes by we only used the plastic one. But when I was little child, what our usually used as Christmas tree is made of wire and cotton, done my father because we dont have much money to buy a plastic one. So we have a white Christmas 😁. For some years, you can see in every house we decorated our house and also our real plants in front of house, we usually used Christmas light for that. Thanks again for featuring my loving country. More power and Mabuhay. Keep safe always. Mahal nami kayo. God bless!

For those who live in the cities or in the metro politan area they’re using an artificial trees that can be found in shopping malls during the holidays, but those who live in the country side like me 🥰 we use to create our own Christmas tree from a certain shrub that grows in the forest, it is called the Alimutbot plant is a kind of shurb that has many small branches like a deer antlers, and we peel off its skin as its inner part was pure white, then we dry it out in sun until all the moisture was already gone then its ready to use😊just put a base to make it stand some Christmas decorations!and there you go a simple DIY Christmas tree😇

So we buy plastic or improvise something to show our artful heart mostly to the ordinary people that can't afford to buy one. Christmas starts September in the Philippines, but it is not just end in the 1st Sunday of January in celebration of Three Kings, but its actually end in the the 3rd Sunday of JANUARY which is the Feast of Señior Santo Niño a very unique celebration originally only in the Philippines
Because of the love and devotion showing of every Filipino catholic to the Child Jesus the Vatican City issued a decree to celebrate the Solemnity of the Feast of the Child Jesus in the whole country in every 3rd Sunday of JANUARY
That's why we Filipinos have the Sinulog Festiva in Cebu, Ati-atihan Festival in Tondo-Manila and many more street dance festival all over the country during the last day of Christmas season in the country the feast day of Señior Santo Niño.

I didn't even know about that. Bit nowadays, it's really for commercial reasons. Stores and malls put up decorations to entice people who want to prepare for Christmas. We don't exactly celebrate early. We just prepare early. Also, it' s a good excuse to sing Christmas songs already I guess, 'cause they usually make us feel good. Before Ber months, I find myself singing Christmas songs at times without noticing it.

When we were younger, we were making our trees. DIY stuffs like that. Dried trunks intact with dried branches on it. Then covering it up with a white or green crepe paper cut artistically to become like a true pine 🌲.

Pine trees can grow here in Philippines, specifically in Baguio. But we do buy plastic Christmas trees to decorate our homes ☺️

For the Christmas tree. Most buy also plastics, but theres thing here in Philippines where people will compete to make a Christmas tree in every place with every resources we've got and make it as a big Christmas tree for the whole city in a specific place in Philippines. So i can say that Philippines dont just buy whole Christmas tree, but we make it to show also how creative we are in some kind of ways and showing also that we believe in unity in Christmas❤️❤️❤️❤️ advance Merry Christmas ❤️❤️❤️

Hellooooo❤️❤️❤️ you asked if we Filipinos use real pine trees as a Christmas tree. No we don't. I mean in my family (I don't know if others too) only use plastic trees but sometimes we also improvise by building our own trees from recycable materials😄 also in school we have project or assignment to bring one plastic bottle and at the ber months you'll see your bottle formed in a tree or in the windows in our classrooms❤️❤️share ko lang hahahah
