"no plan to bring SS to Switch" but then they did it anyway
27:13 hold up a second
I remember a rumour from right before Twilight Princess came out, it said that you'd have the option for motion controls if you played the GameCube version on a Wii.
I am from the future and I am happy to say Skyward Sword is coming to switch :)
Finally. A DYKG narrator that pronounces the Zelda producer's name correctly. Everyone else always said eye oh numa for some reason.
I never understood the whole "female link" deal in the first Breath of the Wild trailer. It still looked like Link and he still looked male, just very young looking.
To me, Link always had an androgynous look and always thought people claiming that Link was a female in that first trailer was just looking for something that wasn't there.
21:47 Fifty Shades Of Grey as the basis for romance in Zelda. Because the “romance” in those books was *so* healthy...
The Legend of Zelda: A Link in the Description Below
Nice
Great series of videos, all. Must've taken some time. Thanks!
At least these rumors are giving new creative name ideas for Nintendo.
-The team was looking on novels like Twilight and 50 Shades of grey for inspirations for romance between Link and Zelda
Me: shivers in horror at the tought of what would have happen if this ended up be true.
27:11 This did not age well.
“Hylian language… highly inaccurate…”
Exceptional writing right there.
Skyward Sword is on the Switch, i am playing it with the new joy cons
"We have no plans for Skyward Sword on Switch."
Nintendo when they lie:
22:50 "This set of rumors was 'Hyli-an Accurate' ~~"
Fun fact, The Hylia was originally owned and operated by Mike Damiani of game trailers and easy allies.
The Valley of the Flood rumor sounds fucking awesome and would probably make for an amazing game
God I remember being so interested in that theory/rumor as a young pre-teen
I remember being like 12 and thinking that even the title sounded badass
Years ago, I was so annoyed with clickbait blogs posting unsubstantiated rubbish that I created a burner email and sent a fansite my own fake leak to test if they actually scrutinise their stories at all. I included the 50 Shades comment as an obvious flag, but don't recall actually receiving any follow-up scrutinising its validity - and they ran with the article.
And after all this time, it comes up again in a Did You Know Gaming? video. This is absolutely brilliant.
Not gonna lie, a Lego Legend Of Zelda game sounds f*cking awful.
I think a full wind waker follow up would have been amazing. It also sounds like Retro probably was working on a zelda project but Nintendo didn't like it and scrapped it. I would love to see what it is some day though.
imagine being too busy to demonstrate zelda 3
18:15 the news about people getting banned because of visiting the Eshop-page is false btw. Users will get the same error message when they're trying to open a out-of-region game in the eshop.
The person who got banned actually used a Gateway 3DS and was banned because of that.
I'm the guy who made this fake app btw.
Huh
Rly?
@@suhaybwars yes
@@suhaybwars try to visit an out-of-region eShop site on the 3DS. It'll give you the same error message.
