My absolute favorite Rig. Rock the 7.62 setup and it performs awesome. Used the UW Gen IV for several years before switching to this model and have not looked back.
I subbed. Im a nobody who does nothing n just so happens to get all weird about kit also lol, thanks for posting Making any kit that somewhat modular, Spiritus Fat Straps are the bees knees. A close 2nd is HSGI H Harness but the Spiritus- for straps, are crazy over built. For a prebuilt kit this is really cool, you can still do all kinds of mods. Stop "hating velcro" velcro, especially one wrap, is your friend. If you go on ebay, buy some shock cord just to have in case you want to change something, First Spear enhanced pulls are also a wonderful thing. Imagine if you sewed a hook field in the back of the center pouch, could run wings n have mags or other equipment tight under your side straps 😁
Just got my Pusher rig to go with my APC and Gen IV Modified placard, such a nice piece of kit. No need to customize if everything is already where you want it! BTW, the admin pouch fits perfectly between the straps and gives you nice access to that map pocket that's back there.
Awesome stuff, velocity / Mayflower is one of the most overlooked brands in a lot of ways. The LEPC is IMO the best slick carrier their is for example.
@@lima3dynamics I would, I had a built in K pouch that is under the front attachment hook and loop on the front plate bag, and a built in admin panel. Throw a used LBT k-pouch insert in it, grab a divided cummerbund and your loaded and comfortable.
Good video man! Appreciate the depth and the comprehensive approach in the review. Have you had experience with the UW (non-pusher) gen IV? Curious - do you know of the size/profile difference and use-case difference between the two? Looking to run of these guys as a placard and am trying to differentiate between all of the generations and which would work best. Thanks
We may very well do that. Team and squad leader is tough to get just right. In my opinion you still need plenty of mags you can get to quick as well as administrative items. The pusher fills this role really well. I’ve also ran a Haley D3CRX in those roles but honestly found that lacking. Big fans of micro rigs with the spiritus Systems thing 2 with 2 gps on the sides. Tons of great options out there.
@@lima3dynamics that would be awesome. There’s like zero videos on that. I try to run minimalist as much as possible on my plate carrier while stateside. And I don’t like the battle belt so I try to be very selective on what goes on my kit.
It’s not bad at all. The wide shoulder straps keep it from digging, as far as a belt, it’s completely okay. Mind you it’s not a micro rig so your space between is much smaller.
@@lima3dynamics Like on the part that would be touching the wearers body, basically what I'm asking is can you attach it to a PC that has velcro on the front in addition to the swift clips?
“Because nobody knows who the fuck we are .” I like the humble approach. Refreshing . Sub.
We appreciate that!
I like this channel a lot because I can tell you and the other country dude actually run your gear and know what you’re talking about.
We appreciate that! Thanks for watching 🤘

Admin pouch you can put behind the rig by your stomach to have easy access to the back of the rig capartment.
“Cuz nobody knows who the fuck we are” lmao

Awesome! Glad it works for you!
Awesome disclaimer lol!

Haven’t messed with the LEPC yet, seen it multiple times and skim right past it. May have to check it out.

Thanks, I might look more into it.

Good job gentlemen

I have 0 experience with any other velocity rigs unfortunately. But it’s on my list to get next and get that info out there.
Looking to pick one up, but I guess Botkins has been wearing Mayflower chest rugs lately and so they’re all out of stock.
I’ve noticed that, but hopefully you can snag one soon. Great piece of kit.
"Nobody know who the fuck we are" rah
I thought I had a country accent 😂 seriously though like the channel and content.
It gets alittle rowdy sometimes lol.
Great descriptive video
You guys should do a video on job related set ups. I’ve been a squad leader for a bit know and I’m still adjusting my kit to the perfect set up

We are already discussing making the video. I think it could be handy information
How comfortable is it with a pack on? Enough room for a waist belt?
It’s not bad at all. The wide shoulder straps keep it from digging, as far as a belt, it’s completely okay. Mind you it’s not a micro rig so your space between is much smaller.
I can't decide between the split gen 5 and the gen 6 pusher. Which one do you think I should go with?
If you want a base that can be configured however you want and changed I’d go SS, if you want something ready to go out the box then I’d go velocity
Great review thanks.
Hope it was helpful
I subscribed because I can’t be sure if those sleeves are real or the fake ones you put on like panty hose. . I will stay till I find out.
😂😂😂
will a 32 oz nalgene bottle fit in the radio pouch?
It will not, a water bottle will, but a nalgene is too big.
Do these have velcro on the back?
Where at on the back?
@@lima3dynamics Like on the part that would be touching the wearers body, basically what I'm asking is can you attach it to a PC that has velcro on the front in addition to the swift clips?
Yes absolutely.
It’s a small patch but big enough to hold a full load of equipment.
I’m just trying to justify replacing my army issued TAPS
The TAPS isn’t a bad system at all and will definitely get the job done. I actually really like it but still always looking for new things to try.
@@lima3dynamics Know any rigs that compare to the TAPS, but lighter?
Tactical tailor used to make one, not sure if they still do.
How many 5.56 mags can it carry?
Technically 4 rifle mags.
