As a Kenyan I appreciate this video 100% You hit the nail on the head regarding the issues while providing a deeper insight to an audience beyond us here in the country. I wish I could be part of the change sooner but alas I am a barista in training on my first week of classes binging coffee content on the internets 🤭
Thanks for this insight. My question actually pertains to Ethiopia, and how you compare what is happening there in terms of farming practices, transparency and sourcing to your experience in Kenya? From the outside looking in, it seems like it might be similar, with a lot of different co-ops, a lot of farmers pooling their coffees together and selling to these co-ops. how can you find transparency there? Is it common to find single farmers or single lots of coffees that haven’t been pooled together - like 700 different farmers pooling together in Kenya? Thanks again.

Hi Patrick, thanks for the insights. What do you think about Trabocca's project over there?
Thank you for watching. We have no insight into the Trabocca project so we can't comment.

Thank you for watching. We visited Ethiopia three weeks after our Kenya trips and will release updates on that trip early this year.
Bloody Oath mate!

Thanks for your thoughts. Very complicated topic ! eg If we decide just to buy from one farm and the method we like, will it be a new type of slavery?
Thank you for watching.
Your trip to Kenya wasn't your cup of coffee.
Grab another different cup please.
