Thanks for the video. My pump didn't have any sludge in it at all. It just started to do a very poor job spraying washer fluid, then just stopped one day. I turned my wheel in, rather than out to do the swap. My hoses pulled off the pump without any issues, and slid right on the new one.
Thanks for taking the time to make this video. It was exactly what I needed today. Well done on doing your best with camera angles being solo too! Thanks!!

Perfect video, exactly what I needed and honestly didn't take more than 10 min. One tip: Use a flat head screwdriver and gently push on the bottom of the hose to get it off the old pump, once it's up by a few millimeters you can pull it off with your hands.
Thank you for this video my mom Explorer washer motor pump has been messed up for over a year so I will definitely let her and my dad see this video maybe he can fix it by watching your video 🤷♀️

I just finished the job, everything went smooth BUT, I had totally filled the reservoir because I had thought it was just out of fluid, I pulled the old pump off and that crap went everywhere, a little in the Tupperware and my shorts and shirt managed to soak up the rest. 😂 thanks again, great video 👍

Good video. Mine on my wife's 17' Explorer pump works fine, but has a crack in the motor housing, and it leaks a bit on the floor. I'm gonna take the wheel off when I do it though. It'll be a bit easier
Hello. Was yours not making a sound at all when you pressed the button inside? That's what mine is doing and I'm wondering if this is what I need to fix it. Thank you for the good video.
Hello Sbenitez🖐️ yes when I push the button you can hear it trying to work so that means it's either going weak or there's something that has it clogged up. I hope this help and thank you for watching my video please make sure to subscribe and hit that thumbs up button
So I have this vehicle and my rear washers work but not the front. I took the nozzles off and nothing comes out the front ones but the rear spray fine. What do you think it is? I hear the car making a sound when I spray. You think it could be a fuse? Why would the rear work though and not the back
And if that don't work replace the sprayer motor it would take care of anything that will happen to the rear that will be coming up soon I rather replace one motor and take care of both problems before both problems come to Bay
This video saved me several hundred dollars after a shop told me “it’s not the pump, it’s electronic and we need to troubleshoot.” So, I took my chances and replaced it, it works now! Thanks!

check the front hose, perhaps the hose to the front is tangled up preventing it from spraying
And if that don't work replace the sprayer motor it would take care of anything that will happen to the rear that will be coming up soon I rather replace one motor and take care of both problems before both problems come to Bay
