I have made a massive step forward in this six candle window. It is titled 50 PIPS A DAY. Because my account is tiny. I am constantly looking for home runs, ie holding on too long and getting hammered by a reversal. So today I finally realise that 50 pips a day or session is great. So from now on I will focus on the execution and try and bag my 50. Walk away and come back for next session. Self sabotage is so easy in this business. I guess you only hear when you hear.

Excellent - as always. I have a question, seems an appropriate time to ask it.
You talk often of how important pin hammers and engulfments are in the price action setup - could you please define those two candle setups a bit further, does the engulfing candle have to totally cover the preceding candle body or body and wicks? How do you define a pin hammer - is it when the body is a third or less than the total candle length? Many thanks for the great lessons.
First draw s/r. Then look at the bars. Then trade.
Use the 50% fib tool look for horizontal blocks of orders below it will make a quick stop hunt to 80-124% of pattern then reverse back to the block of orders to either continue or make a new trend
I think this video is the missing piece of your succesful strategy. I hope you can make more videos focusing on entries and exits. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.

Hi Stacey, do you do both: take profits at SR and/or use Trailing Stops . Which ones do you use more , and do you use one or the other based on volatility, trend vs counter trend vs range setup? How do you manage your stops? Do you go BE (or worry about the stop hunt), and/or manually trail a stop at minor low/highs, use a trailing stop order, and/or take profit at targets. combination thereof?

Hi Stacey. Loving the content. I’ve been watching through your videos for weeks. Just wondering with the pin hammers. (As we are using 15 minute charts) if a pin hammer is created via two 15 minute candles with 2nd candle being the ‘quarter to the hour’ candle or being the one on the hour is this valid as a pin? I hope I’ve explained that question well enough 😂 so basically doesn’t look like a pin clearly on 15 minute chart. But displays as one on 30 min chart. Is this valid?

Would trade GOLD , with strategy , because GOLD has been irrational. A whole different animal , it $50 sometimes? Or could give a breakdown on Gold.
At 26:06, GBPJPY, would you suggest entry after the first pin-hammer, after the engulfment? Even though there are two more 15m pin-hammers, you would sit though that? Just wondering how to avoid this situation. Or do you trade the breakout?
What do you consider as round numbers? I understand that it’s 50s and 00s for price but how do you determine where round numbers are on a pair with 5 decimals? Example: GBPUSD is @ 1.33200. I understand that this is round numbers but is 1.33250 also round numbers? I assume these number spots have to be in 25 pip increments so we ignore the pipette value correct?
25 pip increments. Major levels 50' s and 00's
In your case ignore the pipette
So 1.33000 to 1.33500
Do numbers apply with the ES & YM?
Watched this. Need more screen time to identify these 25 pips increments. I saw that the new range was created after you plot the profitable longs/shorts on the previous session. then as soon as a new high is created, the previous range will be modified. Is that right? Thanks and Stay Safe!!

You say limit orders at numbers . So you take the trade at numbers and hope it goes your way or not.
Once they have done a stop hunt to the high or to the low and they have pinned it, I'll enter as close to the numbers or better to cover the spread. This will be on a third level move to hit the stops.
So eher did you get on on numbers with an order or on the brake our
Breakout trade will come after they have hit stops on the other side. No problem trading with the trend.

SB @ 1621 you say pin hammer but the previous candle is a bullish kangaroo tail why not go long ( of course hindsight proves that wrong but ... ) at that point bc you dont know the next candle is a pin hammer down.
Timings, numbers and pattern of the trend Max. If you bought that candle, you are "buying high," I enter into a trend after the pullback. The candle you are referring to is a bull trap. Also with respect to timings, remember I said I focus on the first and last candles of the hour. If they are up high I am looking for a sell, if they are down low I am looking for a buy. You see the 1-2-3?

The 'numbers' are simply rounded 25 pip increments. 1.2100, 1.2125, 1.2150, etc.
How are those the high of the day ? clearly NY was much higher than what you mark as a high. im not being combative SB. im just a little confused. thx
You are correct Max, the "bigger box" has a NY high, but each time the market makes a new high or low, I will look for those to be broken, every new high and low inside, traps traders chasing the swings, then guess what happens at the session changeover? They hit the stops, after they trap volume inside. One of the previous session highs and lows, may be respected and not violated because that is the side of the true trend. Does this make sense? Thanks for the questions!
