Jin Keyu is the best as usual and I am sure the other man is also outstanding though I had hard time understanding him since I am not Chinese. Also, I run out of counting fingers since the gentleman was calling so many numbers.
The major point is this that anyone with good judgement can see that the Chinese people are far more willing to accept any hardship from their own (somewhat "fatherly" government) than are the greedy and "sneaky" westerners. Take Trumpo for example; he is so "wise in his own eyes" (but not respected by anyone in the foreign arena, for his obsequious (often outrageous) words and deeds are plain to anyone with a discriminating brain). China will survive!
Those who plant strange plants in their garden may make them blossom for a day --- but their harvest my turn out to a "gambler disaster" [ Isaiah 17:10-12 ]. China does not GAMBLE. She was burned by the barbarian west or two centuries of humiliation --- and that will never happen again, I assure you. Trump' election itself bears witness to the "coarseness", the low-brow quality of those who elected such an "anti-Christ" type of OAF (Psalm 12:8 the wicked walk on every side when what is VILE is exalted among men; and the Qur'an also says that "killing is better than persecution"--- and that's simple to understand: persecution always cause death in the end, so why waste all that time and energy "all for NOTHING". Trump is like a "cat that plays with his food", hap-ha --- then looks up with a smile and says "Hey! -- I did nothing! What are you looking for? The "I" word?
keyus amazing for a western professor but she needs to catch up on cutting edge chinese domestic econ theory and teach her students, cao knows what hes talking about the stuff he said about soe turning into capital asset used for pension is mind blowing logic and skepticism toward continued urbanization is another pillar of new chinese econ theory although theyve always been skeptical about “service “ sector, ie caste economy with no real productivity gain, better to inflate a homestead sector than to breed a bunch of spoiled brats
They need you back in China to contribute to the human capital, now that the single child policy has changed, and especially that now at the start of Brexit, there seems to be not many concrete plans to bring the British economy back on even keel. So it is time to go back. Maybe with feet and ears on the ground on China soil, some new ideas would arise to respond specific to what the real problems are.
Am I the only one who think that she is only speaking out some facts, which do not offend China or western coutries, that eveyone has already known without any in-depth thoughts? lol
The bottom line is not just China worrying about DJT but China wasn't ready for DJT's presidency... It's time for China to change and reform itself towards the free enterprise world economy... otherwise all indicators and assumptions are off bases. China is different because it's following an incomparable economical and political systems... in which state owned and military owned businesses shall be skewed any meaningful indicators econonomically and otherwise.. China must be able to make a good choice to take higher roads that shall lead to the real peace and prosperity though out its occupied territories... with the balance of the 1.3 forgotten citizens... Question to Jin: do you think the current Chinese leader will pursue the kind of reform you would like to have?
The Observer The question is what sort of reforms would you like to have?

She is probably referring to statistics from Europe rather than the United States.
