That's funny, I am in Portland looking at one on Craigslist and found your video. That thing sounds pretty great actually. Did you mod the exhaust or is that the original?
How's the ride? is it stiff or soft.I mean I am driving x5 with 18 inch rims and i feel every bump every hole on the road, very hard ride,so i consider changing it for something with softer suspension.
Well, it’s somewhere in the middle between stiff and soft (stock wheels) leaning a bit to stiffer. However if you feel every hole in the road I suggest checking the front / rear control arms bushings - if these okay check shocks if these ok then might be the way they built the X5 .
For sure fx45 will last you longer in terms of mileage, reliability and also the difference between those two in terms of fuel economy is not huge so I would choose the fx45.
@@gureshidze9764 I had one in 2018, i'm from France so here we talk about « liters per kilometers », and it was between 8 L/100 to 10L/100, depends of your driving. It was very reliable, nothing to said about mechanical problems.
Constantinus Augustus my parents owned one (then it got stolen out of our garage) and it was the car I used to get my learner’s permit and driver’s license I didn’t ever notice it
I know this from supper long ago but I have an fx45 and according to the cars computer I have an average of 18.7. I know it’s not the same engine but I thought I’d just add that.
I know this is a year late, but I can explain the dash bubbles. I'm lucky enough to drive a 2004 fx35 as my first car, and it also had this problem. There was actually an extended warranty offered by infiniti specifically for this issue, as it was their fault from the factory. Sun exposure would cause the dash to bubble up due to something under the dash I'm pretty sure. Unfortunately, this didn't happen to my fx until around 2015. My dad purchased the car in 2006, and it spent the majority of its life in a garage away from the sun. By the time it happened to my car, the extended warranty had already expired lol. We got it replaced anyway and it looks good as new.
Infiniti’s line-up from the early-mid 2000s aged very gracefully
What a beast!!!! The FX the best car ever made. Proud owner of a 2003.
Two-time G owner here, just something about the older VQ that makes me love it to this day.

Motor wont last long if you dont let it warm up and floor it right off the line until operating temperature.
I didn't care about this car, has 184,500 miles on it, that car had enough.
That's not an excuse to handle it like a piece of garbage.
Take care of everything you got dude, you don't know about the future.
Damy P. True, which I can apologize to the car, but it’s too late ...
Where is he now ?
