Kudos to this showing a gay character who isn’t oversexualized, who actually hasn’t had sex or any intimacy at all, and is learning about his sexuality like a normal young man. Honestly I’m so surprised by it but I’m very happy.
Yeah and they don't them too feminine like both Malec have masculine and feminin part in them and it's the truest potrayal in tv :v
But it falls under another trope though: The experienced guy and the fresh out the closet gay. It's rarely just two gay guys who have been out for a long time and are comfortable in their sexuality.
Yes, it seems like the focus of their pair in the books is more of different people (Shadowhunter and warlock) instead of being gay or not, I think it's a great way to show how wrong is the world for being against everything "different" in dating than what a person think is "correct" (it can vary from place to place)

I think she will, in the other dimension they were together, and that says a lot. Jace and clary were together too, wich makes me think that maybe they are supposed to end up together. It was as he said "other dimensions are like this one, but still not quite".
Not many people think that much about that dimension, wich is sad because it lead to that many people actually believed that jace and clary were siblings, cause if they were, they'd be siblings in the other dimension as well.
I'm so sorry for writing so much, i just really needed to let that out..
in the books they are but i don't know if they will put it in the show because in the show izzy and Raphael are together and they were not in the books
Sizzy have scenes in 2x12 where they walk in the rain and talks but i dont think they will be a couple before end of season 2 or in season 3 if they have one.
I think Sizzy will start rising by the second half of season 3A or at 3B.

And? Many people do or even just don't admit to it until they're well into adulthood. Hell, there's always stories about how even older men and women sometimes divorce because they realize they are not actually straight.
In Alec's case he has realized his sexuality a long time ago already, long before he even became parabatai with Jace. But he supressed it and never admitted to it until he met with Magnus in his 20s.
And regardless of sexuality there's plenty of people who don't lose it in their teens. Nothing wrong with that either.

I think he's already doing an awesome job of portraying all that. With his stumbling words, rushed kisses (too much force, more eagerness than practice), shy, wide smiles at being praised by Magnus etc. I think he's doing an awesome job in portraying the body language of someone as new in all this and repressed for so long about it as Alec.
