I really wished that the sims team took the opportunity to give us an option to remove sims from conversations manually with this pack. They said they improved it so that sims wont talk to you when you have a date, but it didnt really work...
I just rolled with it. My celebrity sim is trying desperately to have a loving date with their spouse...I had to eventually move them to a rental with the "private" lot trait or have them go on dates in their home just so paparazzi and fans weren't clicking cameras and/or fainting 24/7 all over my dates! :P

I agree it definitely feels like a game pack rather than an expansion pack. I mean there are so many things that I find missing from the build buy catalogue for this pack.

I couldn’t agree with you more. This pack definitely adds a layer of depth previously missing from the game, and the pop ups and added interactions really do feel necessary (especially if you’re a console player who can’t mod), but it should have been a game pack lol 100%
Don’t ever feel bad for no facecam. Honestly as a creator myself I commend ppl that are able to do for every video. If you ever need to do faceless videos every now and then most of us don’t mind. I can tell it’s very relaxing for you bc you don’t having to worry about stuff like if you are pulling a weird face or something.

No face cam really is nostalgic! Also, you don’t have to worry about accidentally covering any of the UI or the millions of pop ups that appear in this game
I think another part of this series would be nice! Juan and Manuel could have their wedding, and maybe Coco could move into the penthouse with Valentina? I love these characters, and it would be fun to have a wrap up episode!
I am usually here for these hot takes but this one has to be one of my favorite expansion packs we’ve gotten in a hot minute. The added interactions, CAS and B/B alone are so great. I’ve been fortunate to not be stuck with major bug issues but I think especially if you’re into the vanilla game or cannot have mods this adds a huge element of what people were getting from the mod world. I do think the world should have been bigger/more engaged but I also kind of understand why.
Yoooo carrots can be made into a DOPE hotdog replacement!! You can boil em for a few minutes, poke em with a fork, marinade overnight with soy sauce and maple syrup, then they become caramelized on the grill, top em with some interesting toppings and bobs your uncle!! Honestly I’m drooling right now just thinking about it
this took me back to the original deli that we use to have! i know the circumstances haven’t been the best and you feel this is how you need to be, but i love you regardless and i love the content as always! 🤍

I lived in Sydney when I was younger for a bit & I remember the big brother was THE best there. It was so entertaining. I haven’t watched any of them in forever. PS the editing in this one was also so good with the no face cam - so never a worry.

It's like Seasons. You get it for the passive benefits, not to be actively wowed. It's meant to enhance your game, and the more packs you already have, the more it provides. That being said, I'm of the opinion that Growing Together and Lovestruck both should have come without worlds like Seasons did. Those resources would have been better allocated to providing even more features to make the gameplay better.
Yeah I've been having a ton of fun with this one, it's really affected every save file and legacy challenge I have/will have going forward, which I honestly prefer having in an expansion pack. This one definitely ranks with growing together and seasons to me so far.
I never been more disappointed in a pack like I am with this one. It's Island living part II. I remember getting excited about it and turned out to not be worth it. Now Island living sounds like a great expansion. At least Sulani was incredible. I am so upset that this is what they got to offer. I am scared for fairies if they ever come. 😭😭😭 Also the update was quite a turn off. The new eyelashes don't solve the cc lashes issue. The mapping for them is too small which means they can't make regular cc eyelashes work as a new category. They won't look as good. They can put it there but it will still take a slot of something. So we will be getting lower quality cc lashes or live with them taking slots. Hopefully they figure it out. I guess that's why the eyelashes they made are horrendously horrendous.

I really enjoyed this mini-series! I know you're done with it but it would be great to have a little wrap-up episode to see where Coco/Valentina and Juan/Manuel end up. I'd love to see a wedding and Coco moving into the penthouse. I understand if you want to move on to other things, though. thanks, as always, for being transparent in your videos and just having fun. 😃

Definitely agree that this doesn't feel like an Expansion pack. I love a lot of the cas items, but overall I feel like it's a pack that didn't really have a solid vision, and therefore feels very incomplete. I would have loved to have another full on city world again, or even a half and half of city and suburbia, but definitely would have preferred a bigger world with more lots like Get Together's Windenburg.

The last few expansion packs have been a rip off. There’s nothing to do but the same old go to a bar, gym or lounge. We need more stuff to do! Bands, sports, new venues and activities it’s so lame we payed tons of money just so our sims can get freaky on a blanket

One thing I've found frustrating about this pack so far is the sad bear. He is no help, much...when it comes to the magic romance ring. The Sad bear tells you about needing to go fishing for it, and then looking for info about it by the wishing fountain, and last mentions a wall. After that nothing. But the thing is I can not find this wall so I'm just stuck.
I bought this based on the build pack alone because I have been desperate for some Art Deco.... =( ... it was the first expansion pack I have bought since Cottage and I am still on the fence about making a bad choice.
Name three packs that were a complete flop, one per pack type: For Rent Expansion Pack My Wedding Stories Game Pack The Pack That Shall Not Be Named (hint: it's the DLC 4 DLC one) Stuff Pack -I personally don't think The Sims 4 Star Wars: Journey To Batuu was a flop,- besides, what I think of as a "flop" includes how many bugs there are in the pack, and no, Outdoor Retreat literally having a *_Bug_* collection doesn't make it a *flop,* but how many *glitches* and *bugs* as in "how _unplayable_ is this pack_ *THAT* type of bugs, and My Wedding Stories takes the *_cake_* for the Game Pack Category. Having watched James' Rent to Riches LP that had to stop for *_3 MONTHS_* because of the bugs, For Rent wins the buggiest Expansion Pack Category. As for Stuff Packs... I don't care about bugs there, just on the *_money grab_* pack in the form of DLC for DLC that is the Pack That Shall Not Be Named Stuff Pack. You'll be cursed with Rabid Rodent Fever if you mention the pack by name!

There's a mod for it where you can right click the sim on the social bar and they dissappear from your convo

-I personally don't think The Sims 4 Star Wars: Journey To Batuu was a flop,- besides, what I think of as a "flop" includes how many bugs there are in the pack, and no, Outdoor Retreat literally having a *_Bug_* collection doesn't make it a *flop,* but how many *glitches* and *bugs* as in "how _unplayable_ is this pack_ *THAT* type of bugs, and My Wedding Stories takes the *_cake_* for the Game Pack Category.
Having watched James' Rent to Riches LP that had to stop for *_3 MONTHS_* because of the bugs, For Rent wins the buggiest Expansion Pack Category.
As for Stuff Packs... I don't care about bugs there, just on the *_money grab_* pack in the form of DLC for DLC that is the Pack That Shall Not Be Named Stuff Pack. You'll be cursed with Rabid Rodent Fever if you mention the pack by name!
Of course it's okay for you to hide your face, Deli. It's only natural that you're feeling embarrassed. Who wouldn't? Hopefully things will resolve themselves, but however long you need, just take it. We all understand and support you, girl. Much love ❤❤❤
I've played a couple of times with this new pack, and I have to say that it doesn't work as advertised. The dates don't work, there are a lot of bugs. It's a huge disappointment, and for the price it should have been much much better than it is. I'm actually sorry that I bought it.

I agree with what you're saying, it seems very lack luster and dull. I bought the pack for the new clothing and items, but sad to see the gameplay isn't as fun :(

I hope with some extra time you're feeling better about the botox. You were beautiful before, and you're still beautiful now. You're just giving the rest of us mortals some time to catch up :). I do understand the sensation though of looking at your face and feeling like it's an alien face and a downgrade. It's been with you you're entire life after all. I like the non facecam better than the facecam cus you don't cover up anything of the screen. I like to see the full screen. But you choose the way you wanna do it. Hope your face is better soon!
