I love this iconic organ intro by John Paul Jones. Then the moment when Bonham's drums, Page's guitar and Robert's vocals come in are so awesome. They're the best.
I forget sometimes that I am old and not everyone has heard the Greats, lol. I absolutely adore watching your reactions and appreciation to all the new to you artists and genres. It is a beautiful thing ❤️
Great song! You bring joy to many ppl, esp me. You are the greatest reactor. No one is better than Led Zeppelin in the classic rock genre and also still in today's rock! They are geniuses and so are you. #hog4life..I always represent my guy, Tom. But this is all about Led Zeppelin Peace from the USA 🇺🇸.
No truer words were ever spoken than when you said, "Every LZ song is like a f..... journey". These guys are incredibly gifted musicians. While there are many great rock bands, none have ever been able to capture the magic of Led Zeppelin. That "mad dude" on the organ, using a foot pedal to generate the bass, is John Paul Jones, a master multi-instrumentalist. And your favorite f*cking drummer, who was indeed a master class percussionist, was John Bonham (sadly passed away unexpectedly in 1980 at age 32). The singer with the incredible voice that you love to listen to so much is Robert Plant. And the genius guitarist and producer is Jimmy Page, this time playing a 10-string steel guitar. These guys do have names. ;)
Your 1st listen is as an adult - I was 9 when this hit in 1969 - my older sister had the album and she played it every day ! ain't older sisters cool ?!
Mark, deffo the best reaction channel on UA-cam by a million miles. Yeah I'm again one of those lucky enough to have heard Zep, Floyd, Purple etc when they first started releasing - and they've never been off my playlist since. You know what though? It's such a conflicted feeling - on one hand it is just the best to see you seriously getting into this stuff (and yeah, you get it and then some). But I'm at the same time just a little jealous that you get the smack between the eyes/20,000 volts through the brain buzz of hearing all this for the first time. Ever. Welcome to the 5th dimension, dude. A couple of requests to add to your ever-growing list (all of which must have been mentioned before, but wtf) Pink Floyd - Any colour you like (best rendition of an LSD trip without any assistive chemicals) Led Zep - Kashmir (just monstrously good) Deep Purple - Smoke on the water (because it's smoke on the water), Highway Star (do not play while driving), Lazy (Ritchie Blackmore sure doesn't play a lazy guitar), Burn (kickass). Keep em coming, man.
I'm losing it right now waiting till midnight to do my homework. It's still not feeling real yet an having to scan pictures of her for a slideshow(homework) is a reminder she's physically gone. So I'm here to smile and not think about anything ever again ❤️
It's always wonderful to see you react to Zepplin. You're who of the few who has a wholly appropriate reaction. Well, you and young women who always get a little... overwhelmed.
What a GREAT GREAT choice! Thank you! I get so excited when I see you’ve posted. I really look forward to seeing you discover Janis Joplin (Cry Baby) and Boston (Foreplay/Longtime). My husband from South London and I have a big age difference, he says to mention Shadow Boxing by Nasty Habits or Doc Scott and I try to pretend I don’t know what he’s talking about 😅 Thank you for this today, it’s still morning in San Francisco so this will be a good day with some Mighty Zep as my earworm. Have a good night! Thanks always, you are a joy.
Love this BUT you really got to try Achilles Last Stand and then Kashmir. And when you're done with that try Brain Salad Surgery by Emerson Lake and Palmer (ELP) which will start you off on a whole new adventure
I’m curious what type of music was your lane before this channel? I know I’ve heard you say tons of Eminem and hip hop but did you ever listen to rock or soul before. Some people have but never really listened just heard it around. Can’t wait to see you react to some major bangors in your future brother I’m fucking excited for ya!!!
My mum played alot of country music and was a singer so a fair few pop songs (Whitney, Celine dion, cher etc) but then I was quickly introduced to Drum and Bass and dance music and then hip hop (even then it was a small number of artists) I have listened to some and recognised during reaction from movies or adverts but entire song listening has been rare. Hope that answers :)
@@brainsqueezereactions yes sir it did, thanks for taking the time. So happy to see you finding some bad ass music that can actually help your soul and mind. Some of the music I’m sure everyone will request I think you will feel something from each one. I’m here for it brother keep up the great reactions
The simpler predecessor to Thank You - but with the opposite message. Two obvious musical footnotes to the history of this song - a bizarre kitschy cover (ua-cam.com/video/7aQMCyHxxk/v-deo.html) and a recycling of its signature riff (ua-cam.com/video/ssllBcLQv9c/v-deo.html)
The band is awesome in this song but is this just another opportunity for Bonham to show how great he was? Seriously....just another level! I gotta go for a couple of bamboo schooners to cool down...
Arthur Conley - Sweet Soul Music. Why? Because he sounds great and shouts out to many other great soul singers in the song….Lou Rawls, Sam and Dave, Wilson Pickett, Otis Reading, James Brown 😁

They don't make a bad song! This goes right into the next song...then that goes right into the next.
