The class 33 sounds a lot like a real diesel. Good video though.
Get hold of some tough clear plastic packaging. Cut out small strips and tuck each end under the sleepers so it creates a small bump. It should give you some free almost invisible uncouplers
i agree with the below comment... that 33 doesn't need a sound chip in sounds awesome already... live your shunting sessions... ( right that's it I'm off too the train room to do a bit of overdue shunting ) ATB Neil from Dunkirk
Pure escapism; and nothing wrong with that.
hi great layout hope you like mine diesel dave
A good demonstration of the layout's potential for complex shunting operations. Go steady with that controller, though!
was just thinking the same as comment below..diesel sounds really good.....fun video to watch...cheers..ade
15 quid for a DMU, Bargin. Great little running session. Clever getting sound on a DC loco ;-)
Like its compactness...put some people and bagage and barrels and freight lying around...
DMU is a class 110

Another great budget model railways video.....Mike,I wonder if you realise how much you ‘ give ‘ to this hobby of ours?.....I’ve followed you from the very early days of cardboard base boards, home wood, rattan central ,3D printing, and your own merchandise ,and even your own exhibition!....your

Your 2-car DMU is a Class 110, built by Birmingham Railway Carriage & Wagon Works (BRCW) for the Calder Valley line in West Yorkshire/Lancashire - all were allocated to Hammerton Street Depot in Bradford after 1976, and later Neville Hille Depot in Leeds after 1984 (although the second batch were initially allocated to Netwon Heath in Manchester). They lasted in service from 1963 to 1991, and were refurbished in 1979/80.
Thanks for the video the 33 has got a good grunt sound love it. Love the layout and watching the movement session!!😎🚃🚃🇬🇧
Great locos and set...background adds depth when viewed....
Great video. I just ordered the old coronation Scott set from the 90s. I had it as a kid so I’m really excited about it.
Nice one Mike, just goes to prove you can have great fun with end to end and termini.
Ahh BR Blue diesels! My favourite period 🤗 As a child of the 70’s and a train spotter in the 80’s, this is the period I have the fondest memories of. Thanks for sharing 😎👏
Mike, I can't multi-task either. When I do my Insta live streams I end up either stumbling over my words or forgetting what I am doing!
