Timur was not an Uzbek btw, his blood and people later became the Mughals and conquered India, Uzbeks simply inhabit the land that was once the seat of his empire, in fact they drove out the Timurid stock. Timurid blood now flows in the veins of many in Pakistan who are part of a particular ethnic distinction there. I believe they are referred to as "Urdu speakers" no other ethnic classification name I know of. They should be fairly easy to distinguish though in comparison to the people native to the sub continent.
