    Hi, installing my same damper today. When you installed the front bushing and slowed down the video, it looks like the curved side goes down. So on both bushings the flat side goes against curved side on all points, correct? Thanks!

    • @vcmtbpinoyito
      @vcmtbpinoyito  Рік тому

      Yes correct! You have to make sure the damper must able to move freely up and down..

      @@vcmtbpinoyito Wrong...Been trying to tell you in previous post but you are not listening.
      The "metal bearing" let the outer part flex movements around it...you want the BEVEL part of the plastic bushing to go into that metal ring..that is how it "sink inside" to secure the installation between the (bolt, metal bearing, and plastic bushing)...bushing job is to "secure that bearing"...let the silver bearing do its job...once secured like I've mentioned...THE OUTER PART OF THAT SILVER RING ROTATES/FLEXES "AROUND" IT ! Therefore, you must sink the bevel ends INTO the silver ring!
      This is the instructions straight from the manufacturer.

      By your logic...what is the point of designing the bevel ends then ? 😏

      @@AZN-4-LIFE-U thanks for the photo's, I should be getting my setup soon, I watch several vid's on the install to include the one from RevRides and none of them shown the proper orientation or made mention of it in their vid's....again, thanks for clearing this up...Mahalo Nui Loa.

    With a shorter damper like that it doesn’t seem like you’re able to turn the handlebars to the right very much. Any issues with that?

    • @vcmtbpinoyito
      @vcmtbpinoyito  10 місяців тому

      No issues at all, i can turn the way it should the damper is a big help with the stability on a higher speed, thanks for dropping by🤙

    Those set screws don't come out at all. Don't know how you're unscrewing yours so easily. My impact couldn't even grip onto it and break it.

    • @vcmtbpinoyito
      @vcmtbpinoyito  2 роки тому

      Yeah they are really tight but with a good leverage you can.. i even bought a set of Allen wrench just for those..good luck hope you could fix yours🤙
