Daeyong let dojin kissed him, it should be easy to avoid getting kissedby someone since u can see it coming but he didn’t even try, goes through all the trouble with minjin and breaks their friendship just to throw away all the effort he put into it. I’m a sucker for happy endings fluffy sweet love stories but I gotta say I’m loving the mess nice seeing flawed characters, I feel bad for Jungha. Can’t wait to see how this ends so far I can’t picture it. I wish these episodes were longer! Know I want to know why Dojin disappeared like that, he was so cute in the flashback. Exactly. I really love the writing here! But the problem with BLs is that often the audience expects the very hollow cutesy tropes instead of real writing, because most BLs so far have heavily played into that. I'm so glad this channel doesn't play into that. I'm so glad that BLs are becoming just great stories instead of following some formula previously established for BLs. I honestly thought that popular BLs like Cutie Pie were awful story-wise (with great potential but they just didn't play out the way the should have, never addressed the issues they should have) but I love this. Unfortunately from the comments section, it looks like a lot of people want the hollow writing instead.
@@pearlsandstars829 I don't see "Seoul Blues" as a BL; it's closer to Kdrama with gay characters. The dramatic action is heavily realistic, there's next to no fantasy element. The Thai BLs will continue because they're so popular with a large audience, but while Sukfilm have a wide audience too, their roots are in the Korean film/tv industry with sharp social realistic situations. Having said all that, my money is on a happy ending, LOL.

And the award for the dumbest character of the year is: Daeyoung. I say the character, because the actor does it excellently, all of them have done it excellently. How hard it is for him to tell things, Daeyoung to Jungha... But to talk to Dojin without mincing words, and for important people, the friends who never abandoned him, it is hard for him to be sincere and express his true feelings with them, I am still upset about what he did to the girl and how he didn't talk about his ex-girlfriend to Jungha and avoid unnecessary discussions and their breakup. It's funny that after he is caught kissing Dojin, now he tells the truth, the problem or anger that he wanted to avoid escalated to a much worse level. This could have been avoided, but let's learn to tell the truth before things come to light.

But the guy took advantage of those feelings and seemed to make his friend jealous and he succeeded. And they started a secret relationship before breaking up with the girl.
I actually really like jeongha to completely forget daeyoung. I think what im more mad about is that I got into this series at the false hope that im getting daeyoung-jeongha as the main couple coz that's how they advertised it in the trailer? But they completely went off the rails and giving more of the daeyoung-dojin couple, which I didn't ask. They could have made them a main couple in another series. Why hog all these episodes. Idc if they still have season 2. They still dragged this conflict to half of the series already.

There is the possibility that the ex-boyfriend was in a very seriouse situation that would allow him to reach the success he wanted for his boyfriend but it required him to leave and it must have been something that he could not carry his boyfriend into. You know all these series' tend to have someone looking like a villain when they had to do certain things to then have something to offer the one they love. The quandary will be if he stays with the new boyfriend or chooses the ex-boyfriend. Sorry but I couldn't remember the names. I might pay for the membership fee since I just stopped paying for the one with iQIYI. They have lot of popular bl series and many genres but they take their customers for granted once months go by being a member.
Darkyoung deserves being the top character in bl series.... his body , height and handsome face they are the characteristics of a Perfect topper (Alpha) can you please increase the number of episodes to 20 and also increase the number of actors /actresses in bl series ..try to build a long story with different scenes in different places

And this is a series and people should know to make the difference between a character and the actor. This is not a true story. I am surprised to see how people seem so easily to forget they are just actors. A Korean actor had to go on TV last week and ask for forgiveness because he played the role of a cheating husband. WTF ? If actors cannot portray bad guys then what will happen ? So I will continue to root for JEONG Riu and my standards are fine. Don’t worry and again this is is just a TV show

I’m a sucker for happy endings fluffy sweet love stories but I gotta say I’m loving the mess nice seeing flawed characters, I feel bad for Jungha. Can’t wait to see how this ends so far I can’t picture it. I wish these episodes were longer! Know I want to know why Dojin disappeared like that, he was so cute in the flashback.

Exactly. I really love the writing here! But the problem with BLs is that often the audience expects the very hollow cutesy tropes instead of real writing, because most BLs so far have heavily played into that. I'm so glad this channel doesn't play into that. I'm so glad that BLs are becoming just great stories instead of following some formula previously established for BLs. I honestly thought that popular BLs like Cutie Pie were awful story-wise (with great potential but they just didn't play out the way the should have, never addressed the issues they should have) but I love this. Unfortunately from the comments section, it looks like a lot of people want the hollow writing instead.

@@pearlsandstars829 I don't see "Seoul Blues" as a BL; it's closer to Kdrama with gay characters. The dramatic action is heavily realistic, there's next to no fantasy element. The Thai BLs will continue because they're so popular with a large audience, but while Sukfilm have a wide audience too, their roots are in the Korean film/tv industry with sharp social realistic situations. Having said all that, my money is on a happy ending, LOL.

Also the way they showed it before it seemed like Daeyoung had liked Jungha for ages and suddenly out of nowhere an ex of his shows up?? it’s also not very realistic that anyone would jump ship that fast…

How hard it is for him to tell things, Daeyoung to Jungha... But to talk to Dojin without mincing words, and for important people, the friends who never abandoned him, it is hard for him to be sincere and express his true feelings with them, I am still upset about what he did to the girl and how he didn't talk about his ex-girlfriend to Jungha and avoid unnecessary discussions and their breakup. It's funny that after he is caught kissing Dojin, now he tells the truth, the problem or anger that he wanted to avoid escalated to a much worse level. This could have been avoided, but let's learn to tell the truth before things come to light.

I actually really like jeongha to completely forget daeyoung. I think what im more mad about is that I got into this series at the false hope that im getting daeyoung-jeongha as the main couple coz that's how they advertised it in the trailer? But they completely went off the rails and giving more of the daeyoung-dojin couple, which I didn't ask. They could have made them a main couple in another series. Why hog all these episodes. Idc if they still have season 2. They still dragged this conflict to half of the series already.

You know all these series' tend to have someone looking like a villain when they had to do certain things to then have something to offer the one they love. The quandary will be if he stays with the new boyfriend or chooses the ex-boyfriend.
