In berlikum (friesland) zit ook een boer die met een fortschritt oogst. Geloof dat die een 514 heeft.

Szuper gépek voltak. A mai napig megy belőlük néhány.

A very interesting find, and well filmed, just a shame it wasn't longer. How on earth did it find it's way to Holland, I would think spares could be a bit of a problem. Unless you don't mind a quick trip half across Germany to get close to the area they used to be/still are found in although weren't they operated by the State and not individually owned.

Christopher Lovelock they were sold in Sweden, guess they also had a few dealers in the Netherlands

Interesting, - never heard of any appearing in the Netherlands before. I'm surprised anyone in Sweden would have been interested in one in view of the Countries neutral stance.

A neighbour had two E516, one blue and one green, he later replaced both of them with one 116CS. During that time we also had Zetor and Ursus, I guess you also can find them in the Netherlands. The main reason why these combines are rare in western Europe is that they are really bad, with low capacity and not very reliable :)

Ah, that explains a lot. I noticed in the 'drone' shots the grain tank looked rather small for the size of the machine. The Eastern Bloc countries didn't seem to worry too much about reliability, (unless it was for military use), - (except Chernobyl and no doubt loads of others we in the West never heard of). As the farms were all state owned and the equipment was built by the thousand, they tended to have a never ending supply of 2nd grade machinery. Oddly enough there is a group of enthusiasts, (not farmers, - they are a sailing club actually), who have at least 5 Zetor tractors, (only make), beautifully preserved in a shed not 2 miles from where I live at the sea-side.

Fortschritt had an importer for Holland but they were mainly active during the early days. This machine was sold new in Eastern Germany and a Dutch farmer imported it himself.

    mit Zwillingsreifen!! wozu das denn?

Das ist hier ein Torf boden. In 2018 war es sehr trocken aber normalerweise könnte dieser Boden auch sehr nass sein. Darum sinds Zwillingsreifen Standard ausrustung.

Check "Klado FKA 601" on google... It´s corn header for E516 (B)/E517
