Be blessed brotha! I totally agree with your point of view. I wasn’t always the man I am today either! My breakthrough was ME deciding to change, seek counseling and work on myself! The frequent problem is that many of our women are inappropriately partnered with grown males and don’t know about it. These grown males are wearing the “uniform” of a man but stuck in the mental capacity of a boy. Some men are great at wearing a mask which eventually will fall off and reveal their true self. Sisters, a grown BOY can only see as far as your PANTS! But a MAN can see you as part of his purpose! A male cannot “change” but a grown MAN knows he has to!

Tony, this is 100. I have learned this in real life when I watched my guy friends find their wife, they changed and stepped up immediately. It was almost like my guy friends went from night to day. They were good guys before but when I saw them in their process after they decided they found their wife, I was like “woah. When a man knows what he wants, he does whatever he needs to do to get her.” Period. I’ve seen this so many times. It has helped me try and filter out if the guy I’m dating sees me as his wife. Wow this is the truth. My husband has been the same for the whole time we've been married which is going on 10 years but together 16. He only decided to change when I told him I wanted a divorce and he knew I was serious. Be blessed

Did you hear what TG said about a man changing for the woman HE KNEW was to be his future wife from the very beginning, yet his EGO - Edged God Out (not original with me; read it somewhere) made him act up & act out? Little boys in grown up bodies have temper tantrums when they can’t have nor don’t get their way! They get moody, sulk, pout, get angry, play mind games, play the blame game, get bitter, will start smear campaigns against the woman who dared to courageously stands in her standards. Some even becomes vindictive & violent in some instances. TG’s wife DID NOT change her stance.
Before marriage he tried to play her, tested her and even after the marriage, he tried to shake her off those standards. NO! She maintained her dignity, her pride, her value, her worth as a quality woman! Above it all, her core identity was secured BEFORE ‘dating’ & not dependent upon having a male’s genitalia, biceps & triceps, thighs, with a firm backside in bed next to her! She desired the higher ground: single - hood over thug - hood!
But by God’s Grace & mercy did TG begin transformation from a boy (burden - on - you ladies) into a mature responsible man (meets -,ample - needs, not all). Thank you TG for your transparency, your truthfulness in these messages.

I’ve been married for 23 years and I agree with what you are saying. Me and my husband have had similar conversations over the years and he has mentioned many of the same things you speak of. We both came into our marriage with childhood dysfunction which ultimately led us to both change. Although we’ve had our issues in the past, today I can see how my husband has transformed into this amazing man that shows me love on a daily. So yes, men can change and so can we ladies. Blessings.
Be blessed! It's true, I had to tell the dudes I was dealing with if you saw me as a wife, you'd change. I don't tolerate mess. The last dude said I'd be alone, but he still reaches out after I laid out my standards. I had to remind myself that I was about to deal with a man with 3 kids by 3 different women, but he won't keep his word. I have no kids, so I kept him cut off. All the msgs he wants me.....I don't want to lower my standards.

Shots fired!!! Tony is telling the T-R-U-T-H. I was with my husband for 22 years. I shut stuff down, and he still would not change for me because his mother and family enabled him. When I finally left him, he let me leave. He didn't fight or anything. I realized that he never wanted to be with me for life. He stayed to please his family, and because we have 5 children. Right today, he is still the same sitting in mediocrity doing less than when we were together. I felt he was my husband, but I was not his wife.

This right here is something that has changed my perspective forever! When I think of my ex this jere opened my eyes and now makes sense why we continued to have the same issues. The part that resonates with me most is the fact that he was a good man in some areas. However, it makes sense why he kept doing the same things because I was allowing it. This wisdom is life changing !

My EX claimed he changes only for himself and didn't like to give credit... It took me too long, but I finally left once I realized I had begun to tolerate my dealbreakers. Lesson learned.
I realized sometimes you don't realize your deal breakers are being presented to you because the behavior is in seed form so it's not as clear. But the seed is a red flag. It's good to write the deal breaker but also what kind of behavior surrounds it

However he cheated and she left him and never looked back. In fact, she married a cop. He has dated multiple woman after that BUT until this very day, he said he will not change or be faithful to anyone else except her ( If she ever got a divorce and came back to him). He said, she was the one even though he messed up but he also said that she was the only one with standards! She was a wholesome well raised girl. He is still hurting 20 years later. I keep trying to help him to forgive himself because God has someone else. It's easy to get stuck in pain but we must move forward.

My divorce took place because of me and my wife was in mature and wouldn't compromise with each other on things other one wanted. And also because alot problem she cause in beginnings of our marriage. But I believe just what Tony said because I was a wild boy before her . And I change because of love and because I love her and believe she was my Wife .Before her I would never change even if it benefited me to change. With other women . But given new informations Tony have. Given to me I realize she was a lesson and. A season in my life to learn from. And that my Wife is still out there and need do work on my self to be ready to receive her .

OMG, Tony's story is what i am going through i left my husband 10months ago , he promised me that if i come back he will do anything to make me happy , he learned his lesson and he had found out that he needs me in his life , i couldn't believe him because of the UA-cam videos i have been watching of narcissist and i thought he might be the one even if he wasn't diagnosed, but Tony's old behaviors are exactly the reason why i left my ex.

I totally agree cuz when they become mediocre and comfortable in their own mindset they will not change because they see you're putting up with that but I put my husband out for almost a year after I put him out he got his mindset right! he came back correct and a changed man it's been 6 years now and he's still a changed man. I had to definitely put Be Blessed on this one....dealt with my ex for almost 8 years believing him when he said he would change for me but it was never consistent. So I finally left (upset I waited this long) but this is so true deep down we both knew we weren’t each other’s husband/wife. He continues to try and come back (he gets no response!) but refuses to change! I told him one good time that I am NOT his wife, but the soul tie is real! He has had several marriages and relationships that all end the same, and yet he thinks "we" are the problem!
