If he can do this consistently and the rest of the Cavs players and coaches enable him to do it *that* is what will make the Cavs a title contender, not whether Donovan Mitchell ever becomes a top 5 player (he won't).
@kareenlearmond4407 they should've done it 2 years ago, never should've brought Mitchell, he just interfered with the development and growth of Mobley and Garland without taking the Cavs ever beyond 2nd round to make up for everything he cost the franchise

I mean, second half of last season he averaged 18pts and 9reb. It took some adjustment but the added spacing and playmaking was and will be a benefit overall.
